UPCL Cricket: Week 21 Part 3

Here's the final for Week 21. We begin with...

Microsoft Pitch at Del Sur: The Monarchs will need to defy their history if they want a season sweep of the Shores here. Bear had a dreadful start with only 128 for Whitewater, disappointing early on. Panda grabbed 623 for Southern, putting them far ahead. Twinkie III made it worse with only 231 for the Shores. Shannon hit 341 for the Monarchs, adding to their lead a bit. Whitewater appears doomed now, as Cheddar had only 176, failing to make much of an impact. Kirstin had only 145 for Southern, allowing them to lose a bit of steam later in the game. Wild Thing had 304 for the Shores, but it wouldn't be enough, and they suffered a loss with 839. Nicole finished in Monarchs form with 21, giving them a win with 1130. Southern gets a season sweep, a rare win, and snaps their sixteen-game home losing streak, with their record now at 12-35, while Whitewater is 18-28 on the year with the disappointing loss.

GE Stadium, Southridge: Southeastern teams renew their rivalries, with the Defenders trying to complete a sweep they started on the road in Week 3. Crystal had a meager 131 for Queens to lead things off. Boots took advantage of the optional replay she received from a technical error, giving Southridge 600 at the start. Kayla swung a bit too soon as she ended with 264 for the Flames. Debby answered with 481 for the Defenders, extending their lead nicely. Max had only 194 for Queens, failing to cover the deficit. J. Garcia nearly doubled the Southridge offense, slugging 1062 in a surprisingly good performance. Paige brought the Flames to a more respectable level with her 736, giving them 1325 in the loss. Shaggy pulled in 509 for the Defenders, giving them 2652 in the win. Southridge is up to 17-25 with their third straight win, while Queens drops to 13-27 on the loss.

Blades Fusion ProGlide Park, Swordpoint: It's the Union who have a chance to sweep the third-place team in the league here. Juno got off to a poor start with only 160 for Modernistic. Snowball answered with 359 for Swordpoint to give them a noticeable lead. Ms. Puppy fired back with 529 for the Union, using some momentum from a backhand flick to propel her effort. Dreamy wasn't as smooth with the bat when in trouble, but she smashed 791 to extend the Blades lead. Chimpy couldn't cover the deficit, producing 322 for a troubled Modernistic side. Shawn cancelled it out with 336 for Swordpoint, keeping them in control late in the game. Puff I hit 387 for the Union, but they came up short at 1398 in their loss. Stealth collected 344 for the Blades, giving them a win with 1830. Swordpoint is up to 29-13, while Modernistic falls to 16-24.

Audi Knights Pitch, Terrace City: A great non-division game here, as the Warriors can sweep with a win against a solid opponent. Twilight had 397 for Central in a decent start for the defending league champions. Kiwi answered with 418 for Terrace City, pulling them slightly ahead early on. Dustin botched it with 49 for the Warriors, putting them in a highly vulnerable position. Jennifer didn't have the best of turns, but her 281 gives the Knights a noticeable lead. Noelle stumbled with 153 as the game gets out of hand for Central. Oreo didn't make it elegant, but she belted 1140 for Terrace City, virtually locking up the win. Gizmo had 439 for the Warriors, but they had the loss with 1038 total. Stripes tacked on 250 for the Knights, giving them 2089 for an easy win. Terrace City is hot again, riding a five-game winning streak to 25-20, while Central slips up and is now 26-18.

Apple Park, Todavía: These teams meet again next week for the return match in Pronger. Strawberry had a terrible start with a measly 25 for Pronger. Easter didn't inspire much confidence, hitting 200 to give Todavía a mild lead. Hoot picked up 295 for the Tridents, keeping them in the thick of the battle. Sierra poked 272 to keep the Stills in the lead, but it's still a relatively close game at the halfway point. Precious chopped 335 for Pronger, pulling them ahead again on at least a temporary basis. Leonardo countered with 451, keeping Todavía moving in the right direction as this pivotal game approaches its end. Paps managed to force a response, striking 487 to put the Tridents at a final of 1142. Sparkles did enough with 247 to give the Stills a win with 1170 in a tight game. Todavía should be worried even after winning to get to 23-25 and keep their playoff dreams alive, while Pronger is down to 14-27, on a five-game losing streak.

Cisco Tysini Field, Tysini: The Hummingbirds crushed the Crowns early in the year, and the Crowns are still cold, but it could be a trap. Frosty didn't do all that well with 195 to start things off for Royal. Princess smashed 656 for Tysini, giving them a nice initial lead. Jake did just enough with 465 to cover the deficit for the Crowns, but that likely won't last long. Leandra scored 287 for the Hummingbirds, and their lead weakens at the halfway mark. Marsell stalled at 235 for Royal, and they trail once again. Charli bungled her turn with only 152 for Tysini, letting the visitors get closer again. Nightfur hauled in 341 for the Crowns, putting them at 1236 and forcing a response from their hosts. Bright tried to make it a quick rally back, but he cut one too sharply, losing at 81 to put the Hummingbirds in a loss with 1176. It was indeed a trap, as Royal's spoils take them to 14-26, while Tysini is bumped to 27-18 with the loss.

Sprint Pitch, Victoria: The West Division gains the spotlight again, with the Spurs looking for an upset sweep over the Volcanoes. Starlight opened with 600 as she gets Pacific going pretty well. Spice made a big mistake, swinging poorly to take only 36 for Victoria. Ms. Kitty scooped up 451 for Volcanoes, extending their lead nicely. B. Chapman couldn't corral a wild set of offerings, ending with 81 as the Spurs are getting blown out halfway through the game. Jack carved out 570 more for Pacific as they surge toward victory. Yekaterina tried an optional replay, but it went worse than her first turn, producing a measly 98 for Victoria. Leonette tallied another 780 to put the Volcanoes at 2401 in the thorough and comprehensive beating. Kavan had 328 for the Spurs, but they were easily defeated in finishing with 543. Pacific has entered a tie for fourth with a 29-16 record, tying the Boston Swifts, while Victoria is down to 15-26 on a fourth straight loss.

Volkswagen Stadium, Viewpoint Sound: The West is still in the spotlight with this meeting between a hot home team and a shaky road side. Acorn had only 169 for Lighton, falling out of form once again. Mr. Snowman did pretty well with 490 to give Viewpoint Sound a decent lead early on. Spirit covered the deficit with 424 for the Prestige, keeping the game interesting. Mams ended with 184 as a high-bouncing ball deflected another offering out of bounds, shrinking the Meteors lead halfway through the game. Twinkie I slapped 392 for Lighton, giving them a piece of the lead. Zach couldn't get it all back with his 281 for Viewpoint Sound, but they are within striking distance with a player each to go. Lydia wrangled 449 for the Prestige, forcing a response from her former team as her current team ends with 1434. Kelly came up short, as her 250 put the Meteors in a loss with 1205. Lighton gets a big division win 25-17, while Viewpoint Sound is down to 16-23 as their five-game winning streak at home gets snapped.

Home Depot Forum, Web City: The spotlight gets even brighter Northeastern rivals battle with lots on the line. The Spiders can sweep the Eagles with a win, as the only team to beat them in their own house so far this season. A loss would send the Spiders that much closer to the red line. Goldy pounded 721 for Everton to open the game. Shadow fought hard in a comeback effort, grabbing 589 to keep Web City in range. Puff III faltered with 145 for the Eagles, leaving them vulnerable. Rainmane pulled in 279 for the Spiders, giving them a two-point lead at the halfway mark. Cleo didn't help Everton make an escape, with her 248 keeping them vulnerable. Sugar flicked 312 for Web City, giving them an ever-so-slightly larger lead with a player each to go. Blizzard unleashed 848 to give the Eagles 1962 as their final, a high bar to hurdle for the hosts. Shiny couldn't do anything about a bad deflection, ending on 194 for the Spiders, who will lose with 1374. Everton salvages a series split with the only team to beat them at home, improving to 37-10, while Web City is 21-21, with a 4-7 division record the only thing really holding them back.

BMW RockDome, Westside: As promised in the last post, the return match, with the Flames lined up for a sweep. Crystal had a bad start with only 112 for Queens. Misty batted 297 for Westside, only getting tangled up with three balls near her bat at the end. Kayla didn't really help the Flames much, taking a measly 78. Goatee crushed 824 for the Rockers, likely cementing their lead halfway through the game. Max ripped 520 for Queens in a comeback effort, but they remain behind by a large margin. Midnight let the lead slip a bit, taking only 129 for Westside as the game tightens up a bit. Paige came up just short of forcing a response, rallying for 536 and still giving the Flames a loss with 1246. Chicky Phil pummeled 806 more to put the Rockers at 2056 in their win. Westside makes it a season split in the doubleheader, and they are now at 14-25, while Queens is down to 13-28 as the week has gone a bit poorly for them.

Samsung Whitewater Stadium, Whitewater: The Specters have a chance to sweep the Shores in this week's finale. Slinks didn't get off on the right foot, hitting a pathetic 33 for Harrison to begin. Bear answered with 329 to give Whitewater a noticeable lead at the start. Twinkie II answered with 345 for the Specters, covering the deficit. Twinkie III replied with 256 for the Shores, keeping them in the lead at the halfway mark. Sydney had a poor 49 for Harrison, and they are falling behind again as inconsistency continues to plague them. Cheddar failed to solidify things with only 60 for Whitewater. Brownie plucked 486 for the Specters, putting them at 913 overall, which will force a response from the hosts. Wild Thing couldn't do it, hitting only 96 as the Shores will fall with 741. Harrison's win takes them to 17-26, while Whitewater is 18-29 after the loss.

We're back in action with a cricket marathon of 25 games against the Super Bowl this afternoon. Leading off this segment is the first meeting of the year for...

Mercedes-Benz Field, Harrison: Starlight couldn't quite pick the corner on her turn, ending with just 160 for Pacific. Slinks looked to get into form, but then took the biggest swing of the season way too strongly, and had 384 to give Harrison the initial lead. Ms. Kitty got enough to cover the deficit with 235, but the Volcanoes look weak in this game. Twinkie II had a questionable swing to give the Specters 272 in a middling effort. Jack fired back with 380 for Pacific, completing a rare double-save going from backhand to forehand to deal with balls in the air and on the ground. Sydney had a measly 57 for Harrison, causing them to fall behind late in the game. Leonette put the Volcanoes on her back as she smashed 935 to give them 1710 in what probably will be a win now. Brownie got on a bit of a roll attacking the 6s, but with 434, the Specters ended at 1147 for a loss. Pacific continues to will themselves to victory, now at 28-15 as winners of their last four, while Harrison has lost five in a row to get to 15-26.

Nissan Infinity Stadium: The Torpedoes look for revenge after last week's loss in Capital City. Chris belted 908 for Capital City at the start. Smudge struggled again, taking only 28 as she double-tapped a ball early on. Missy had a very choppy 206 for the Sharpshooters, maintaining their lead. Shelley hauled in 568 for the Torpedoes to cover some of the deficit at the halfway mark. Sprinkles let the Capital City lead slip again with just 96 in a poor effort. Gabe pulled Infinity ahead with 639, making it an extremely tight game with a player each to go. Dani did decently with 416 to give the Sharpshooters 1626 overall. Whiskers made it interesting, flubbing her finish with bad swings, but scoring 399 to give the Torpedoes 1634 and the narrow victory. Infinity is up to 17-22 while Capital City drops to 18-23.

Pepsi Prestige Park, Lighton: The West Division gets highlighted for this game, the first meeting for these teams this season. Snuggle got overwhelmed and had just 207 for Oceanside. Acorn had 455 for Lighton, giving them the initial lead. Bells had 289 for the Waves on her turn, covering the deficit. Spirit answered with only 240 for the Prestige, letting their lead lose a bit of traction. Alyssa's recent struggles gave her only 69 for Oceanside, as they fail to capitalize on the small deficit. Twinkie I ran off with 778 for Lighton, pulling them to a much safer lead late in the game. Pounce put up only 208 for the Waves in his first game against his former team, sealing a loss for the visitors on a total of 773. Lydia dialed up 415 to put the Prestige at toll-free 1888 as their final. Lighton is back to their winning ways at 24-17, while Oceanside slips to 21-16.

UPS Ground, Maplewood: The Sharpshooters keep their busy week going in their first meeting of the year with a team they're chasing in the standings. Chris lost pace with 218 for Capital City, giving them a weak opener. Fluffina failed to match it, with just 192 leaving Maplewood slightly behind. Missy collected 705 for the Sharpshooters, giving them a strong lead. Bryant deflected a ball to the back 4s, but the play threw him off as he finished with 463 for the Lumberjacks. Sprinkles served up another 495 to keep Capital City in control of the game. Diddley couldn't cover the deficit with 306 added to the Maplewood offense. Dani hopes 233 will be enough, as the Sharpshooters close with 1651. Cubby continued to be the problem for the Lumberjacks, as his 16 left them at 977 in a fourth straight home loss. Capital City improves to 19-23, while Maplewood is down to 17-19 with another loss.

Google Pitch at Union Ground, Modernistic: The Union look to sweep after beating the Waves two weeks ago. Snuggle had a respectable 324 for Oceanside to begin the game, their first in a doubleheader. Juno of Modernistic struggled to 48, putting the hosts a bit behind. Bells fired back with 481 for the Waves, extending their lead quite nicely. Ms. Puppy just didn't have enough on her backhand to hold a fast ball, flopping it over the wicket out of bounds for 81 for the Union. Alyssa tallied 864 for Oceanside, likely securing a victory in the big performance. Chimpy fired back with 458 in a meek effort to keep Modernistic alive. Pounce swatted 559 for the Waves to cap their scoring at 2228, likely enough to win. Puff I came up with 168 for the Union in a poor showing, as they lost with 755. Oceanside cruised to a win to get to 22-16, while Modernistic is sent to 16-23 with a brutal defeat.

AT&T Oceanside Stadium, Oceanside: The Waves make a short trip home to face bitter Coastal region rivals, with the Meteors at risk of being swept after a high-scoring loss at home. Mr. Snowman managed just 145 for Viewpoint Sound in a poor start. Snuggle made it close with 144 for Oceanside, leaving the results to the rest of the players. Mams replied with 575 for the Meteors, giving them a better chance this time. Bells kept the deficit in the single digits with 568 for the Waves, producing an even more heated rivalry effect. Zach left Viewpoint Sound vulnerable, poking 45 on his poor turn. Alyssa lifted 343 to give Oceanside the late lead. Kelly swung 425 for the Meteors, forcing a response as they finish with 1190 total. Pounce quickly secured the Waves victory, ending with 416 to give them a final of 1471. Oceanside is still in the fight with this sweep, going up to 23-16, while Viewpoint Sound is 16-22 with the loss.

Verizon Field, Pacific: The Volcanoes humiliated the Knights in Terrace City, and another effort like that will give them a sweep for the season. Kiwi ended on a bad deflection after she committed to a swing, starting Terrace City at 336. Starlight had a swing-and-miss at the end of her turn, but 439 put Pacific in the lead. Jennifer drilled 497 for the Knights, keeping the game competitive. Ms. Kitty was a bit too aggressive on the backhand, ending at 101 for the Volcanoes when it flew too high. Oreo pounded 1030 to boost the Terrace City lead significantly. Jack continued the Pacific meltdown with only 128 as an answer, assuring their defeat in this game. Stripes clocked another 806 for the Knights, putting them at a grand total of 2669 in an easy win. Leonette made very little headway with 144 for the Volcanoes, giving them a losing total of 812. Terrace City snapped a four-game road losing streak to get to 24-20, while Pacific's four-game winning streak ends with them at 28-16 now.

Honda Driftwood Coliseum, Pearl: The Pilots can sweep here, having won early in the season in a low-scoring game back home against the Surfers. Valencia cranked out 544 for Golden to begin the game. Watermelon had only 224 in response for Pearl, putting them behind early. Dusty faltered with only 69 for the Pilots in a weak showing. Neopolitan replied with 535 for the Surfers, pulling them into the lead after staving off one disaster and nearly missing on another. Strut pulled in 441 to cover the deficit for Golden. Wings butchered his turn with only 75 for Pearl, putting them behind again late in the game. A. Charlton didn't get the greatest of endings, but her 695 made it a very strong lead for the Pilots, who close at 1749. Cowzart couldn't cover it with 177 for the Surfers, giving them a loss with 1011. Golden is up to 25-16 as winners of five straight, while Pearl falls to 24-15 with the loss.

Tridents Park sponsored by Ford, Pronger: The Tridents are lined up for a sweep, while the Flames are set to play a doubleheader. Crystal lined 423 for Queens to open the scoring in solid form. Strawberry got some back in a decidedly average performance with 272 for Pronger. Kayla hammered 807 more for the Flames as they take control of the game. Hoot spiked a ball pretty well, but without enough lateral motion, and it ended his turn at 177 for the straggling Tridents. Max kept the pressure high with 464 for Queens, including saving a ball he didn't get all of the first time around. Precious had a late swing ruin a decent turn, as she contributed 439 to the Pronger offense. Paige tapped 224 for the Flames, putting them at 1918 overall. Paps made a big rally with 700 for the Tridents, but they lost with 1588 total. Queens moves to 12-26, while Pronger's ninth straight home loss sends them to 14-26.

Ebay Center, Queens: These Center Division rivals will meet again in 11 games for the return match near the end of the week. Misty had to make a quick reaction, and it ended her turn at 328 to give Westside a reasonable start. Crystal had a meager 146 for Queens on her turn. Goatee added 385 for the Rockers, boosting their lead a bit. Kayla mitigated that damage with 392 for the Flames, keeping them somewhat in range. Midnight had just 225 for Westside, destabilizing their lead as the game gets a bit late. Max couldn't cut the deficit, trying to do too much and ending up with 193 for Queens instead. Chicky Phil left the door open with 257 for the Rockers, putting them at 1195 overall. Paige successfully rallied with 585 for the Flames, giving them the win at 1316. Queens is now 13-26, and Westside stands at 13-25, with advancement in the standings for the winner of the return match.

Kraft Crowns Park, Royal: The final game of segment two sees the Specters looking for a sweep over the Crowns. Slinks sliced 224 for Harrison. Frosty answered with 309 to edge Royal ahead early in the game. Twinkie II popped 743 for the Specters, giving them a strong lead. Jake ripped 840 to give the Crowns more of a lead at the halfway point of the game. Sydney fired back with 654 for Harrison, as the game remains pretty high-scoring. Marsell couldn't cover the deficit with his 321, and Royal trails with the final players coming to bat. Brownie slugged 836 for the Specters, giving them a likely victorious final of 2457 with the huge effort. Nightfur launched 742 for the Crowns, but they came up short with 2212. Harrison takes the win to get to 16-26, snapping a five-game losing streak, while Royal falls to 13-26.

Starbucks Cup, Archtown: The Shores get a second game in a row by meeting the Arrows for the first time this season. Bear wasted no time in establishing a Whitewater lead, slugging 1232 to get things off on a hot note. Sally had virtually no answer with 88 for Archtown. Twinkie III smashed another 1046 for the Shores as they have erupted quite surprisingly here. Sleepy B. scooped up 425 to make the Arrows look a bit more respectable in a thorough blowout. Cheddar tapped 164 for Whitewater, putting them on cruise control. Ruby scored 328 for Archtown in a reasonably solid effort. Wild Thing chopped another 400 to give the shores 2842 as their final. Dusky looked ready to charge, but her turn ended with 290 for the Arrows after a bad deflection, giving them 1131 in the loss. Whitewater stunned in a great win to go to 18-27, while Archtown is 14-19 on a five-game losing streak.

McDonald's Pitch at Pirates Park, Atlantic: The Pirates won in Tysini earlier this year as potential playoff teams clash. Princess smashed 694 for Tysini in a bold opening turn. Delila took only 159 back when one of her hits spun off two other balls and out of bounds. Leandra had a choppy swing, taking 287 for the Hummingbirds to pad their lead. Amber failed in a similar way, failing to get her bat down and adding just 113 to the Pirates offense. Charli had a middling 256 for Tysini, but they remain firmly in control here. Americus put a dent in the deficit with 535 for Atlantic, working some clever swinging to keep herself going. Bright gave the Hummingbirds one more boost with his 497, giving them 1734 total. Dominic nearly covered that last attack, taking 494 for the Pirates, but they suffered a loss with 1301. Tysini gets a big win to go to 27-17 and seventh in the league, while Atlantic slips to 21-18 in the loss.

Coca-Cola Field, Boston: The Swifts debut their slightly modified logo against a team that finalized a redesign for next season. The Swifts beat the Stills in Todavía last week. Easter led off with a reasonable 333 for Todavía. Patches struggled with just 110 for Boston in a poor showing. Sierra had another 276 for the Stills in a middling performance. Puff II got some back with 335 for the Swifts, trying to keep the game close. Leonardo rallied for 497 for Todavía, giving their lead a bit of a jolt later in the game. Gradley covered the gap with 770 for Boston, giving them a late lead with a player each to go. Sparkles slammed 639 to give the Stills a final of 1745, which will force a response from the hosts if they want the win. Sweetheart had only 312 for the Swifts, and they lost with 1527, their fourth straight home loss. Todavía is up to 22-25 with the season split, while Boston suffers the setback to 29-16.

Capital City SuperCenter, Capital City: The first division game of the week comes from the Center in these two teams' first meeting of the year. Frosty had a bit of a long stretch on her turn, which ended with just 177 for Royal. Chris fumbled his last ball and had 176 for Capital City to make it a close start. Jake made a better second effort with 368 for the Crowns, setting a higher standard. Missy fired back with 543 to give the Sharpshooters the lead halfway through the game. Marsell did nothing to help Royal, scoring a pathetic 9 points in a doomed turn. Sprinkles harshly punished that mistake with 639 for Capital City, giving them a likely untouchable lead late in the game. Nightfur made a solid effort with 385, but the Crowns fell with 939 total. Dani rocked 375 for the Sharpshooters, giving them a final of 1733. Capital City's win takes them to 18-21, while Royal is down to 13-24.

Dusky fell just short of forcing a response, hitting 432 to leave the Arrows at 2094 in a competitive loss. Gizmo iced it with 290 to give the Warriors 2394 in a high-scoring win. Central beat their rivals to salvage a season split and go to 26-17, while Archtown falls again to 14-20 on their six-game losing streak.

Nike Field, Commerce: Back in the Center Division, the Tradewinds look to sweep the Sharpshooters as they continue to hunt the first-place Eagles in the standings. Chris didn't get much with 230 for Capital City, putting them in early trouble. Tigerette got caught with deflections, scoring only 147 for Commerce. Missy churned out 584 for the Sharpshooters to give them a more stable lead. Ice Cream pounded 833 for the Tradewinds in response, giving the hosts a lead at the midway point. Sprinkles had a meager 60 for Capital City, allowing them to be solidly behind. Lionel didn't exactly run away with the game, taking only 202 for Commerce. Dani had 248 for the Sharpshooters, but they take the loss with 1122 overall. Lorde didn't do much, but her 162 capped the Tradewinds win at 1344. Commerce remains second overall, going to 32-12 as their win streak hits seven games, while Capital City is down to 18-22 as their four-game winning streak gets snapped.

The Intel Pitch, Diamond: The Defenders look to complete a sweep of the Gems after beating them at home. Boots saw her hot start turn cold quickly, ending with 131 for Southridge's opening effort. Smokey couldn't cash in, as his desperation swing put him at just 74 for Diamond. The game remained sloppy when Debby had just 152 in a weak effort for the Defenders. The Gems can't catch a break, as Citrus produced a measly 6 points to keep them far back in the low-scoring game. J. Garcia blew things up for Southridge, pummeling 1004 to give them a huge lead by any standard. Pedey tripled Diamond's poor output, but his 193 is still far from enough to truly help. HP Field, Eastside: It's the first meeting of the year for this pair of East Division teams. Shadow unleashed a humongous 1131 for Web City to begin the game. Graham closed much of that gap with 1036 for Eastside, setting a high-scoring tone for this game. Rainmane tried to save one on her backhand, but the next one came in hot and she ended up with 14 for the Spiders, leaving them vulnerable. Chelsea popped 417 to give the Sharks a lead at the halfway mark. Sugar completed the Web City butchering with an unfathomable 5 point effort, likely sealing up a loss for the visitors. Taylor's 168 didn't inspire total confidence for Eastside fans. Shiny had a solid 361 to put the Spiders at 1511, but they'll suffer defeat this time. Niki grabbed 460 to put the Sharks at 2081 in a big division win. Eastside is up to 24-19, getting farther away from the now 21-20 Web City.

Chevrolet Field, Everton: This is the first meeting of the year for these teams. Frosty had a forgettable start to the action with a measly 9 for Royal. Goldy dropped 904 for Everton, giving them a massive lead early on. Jake answered with 508 for the Crowns, trying to keep them in the game. Puff III laughed it off, slashing 886 for the Eagles to keep them comfortably in front. Marsell made it look good with 672 for Royal, trying to close the deficit again. Cleo lost a bit of the lead, taking 279 for Everton in a serviceable effort. Nightfur didn't come close with 216, leaving the Crowns at 1405 total. Blizzard had only 99, icing the Eagles win at 2168, their eighth straight home triumph. Everton is 36-10 overall, while Royal is down to 13-25 for the year.

Toyota Pitch, Freedom: Another first meeting event as these two teams jockey in the playoff race. Acorn finally regained form with 795 to lead things off for Lighton, giving them a strong base to work from. Jasmine carried Freedom into the lead with 934 in a wonderful counterattack. Spirit faltered a bit with 238 for the Prestige, barely covering the deficit. Stinky countered with 640 for the Cascades, boosting their lead well. Twinkie I rallied for 592 for Lighton, keeping them in the game with a stout showing. Roxy got bottled up as two straight balls bounced off of a separate ball, and her backhand couldn't contain a roller that ended her efforts at 281 for Freedom. Lydia botched her turn with 20 for the Prestige, giving them a loss on 1645. Nikolai struck 448 to give the Cascades 2303 in their win. Freedom is up to 22-19, while Lighton is at 23-16 as their four-game road winning streak ends.

Amazon Field, Golden: The Prestige get no time to recover, heading southwest to attempt a season sweep on the Pilots, with whom they are currently tied in the standings. Acorn flipped 857 for Lighton this time, an even better showing than the last one. Valencia got 510 back for Golden in a strong response. Her sister Spirit answered with 705 for the Prestige, cancelling the host captain out. Dusty had a weak 192 for the Pilots, and they seem doomed in this game. Twinkie I let the Lighton lead shake a bit with only 141 on her turn. Strut closed down a lot of the gap with 707 for Golden, but they'll still need a rally as the last players come to bat. Lydia didn't help much with 194 for the Prestige, giving them 1897 as their final. A. Charlton completed the Pilots comeback with 515, giving them 1924 in the shocking victory to end the segment. Golden gets to 24-16 with the win, their fourth straight at home, while Lighton is down to 23-17 and can't get home fast enough.
