Premier Cricket 2019 - Week 6

We've got a new week of games in Premier, beginning with...

Nissan Infinity Stadium, Infinity: Mr. Snowman will take some rest for the Torpedoes as they face Southwestern rivals in the Blades, who are sitting Bandit this time out. Snowball began with 373 for Swordpoint, seeming a bit out of touch with the rhythm of her swings. Smudge answered with 598 for Infinity, putting them ahead initially. Dreamy answered with 418 for the Blades, doing enough to cover the deficit. Fluffina smashed 908 for the Torpedoes in response, boosting their lead at the halfway mark. Stealth crisply lined 570 for Swordpoint on his turn, but the visitors remain behind despite his effort. Shelley covered that damage with 604 for Infinity, using a more patient pace in a good turn. Sugar got back into form with 463 for the Blades, but they'll take a loss at 1824. Hughbert had a modest 330 for the Torpedoes to ice their win at 2440. Infinity upset their rivals in rising to 3-6, while Swordpoint will blame the heavy schedule for falling to 10-8.

Cisco Tysini Field, Tysini: The Hummingbirds have an easy choice in sitting Vincent for this game, while the Warriors will do the same with their rookie Andrew. Twilight sent a message with 676 for Central to start the scoring, telling the hosts to expect a tough game. Sarah replied with 665 for Tysini on their first turn, keeping the game close initially. Dustin replied with 441 for the Warriors, giving them a little less cushion to work with. Leandra went off with 820 for the Hummingbirds, pulling them noticeably ahead at the halfway mark. Wings rattled off 810 with tight, concise swings and one fortunate backhand to keep it going as Central stays in the game. Charli scattered her swings, ending at 275 as Tysini slips behind with a player each to go. Noelle delivered an even 700 for the Warriors to cap their attack at 2627. Paps couldn't hold on, his 160 sealing the Hummingbirds' loss at 1920. Central rises to 6-4, while Tysini drops to 1-8.

BMW RockDome, Westside: Chimpy will sit out this Urban Derby for the league-leading Rockers, while the visiting Shores bench Twinkie III for rest. Marsell had the pace but no longevity as he submitted just 192 for Whitewater's opening turn. Misty churned out 743 for Westside in an excellent start to give the hosts another big lead. Shaggy had great pace for the Shores, but still only accumulated 370 on the second attack, which fails to cover the deficit. Slinks stumbled with 32 for the Rockers, a rare misstep for any of their players. Katharine couldn't attack the vulnerability as much as she wanted, scoring 308 for Whitewater this time. Goatee crumbled at 135 for Westside, the game suddenly turning low-scoring with the hosts narrowly ahead. Rosalina forced the hosts to respond to her 377 for the Shores, capping their offense at 1247. Midnight collected 346 for the Rockers, giving them a scare before their final score of 1256 was revealed. Westside showed some cracks despite reaching 14-0, while Whitewater feels hard done to drop to 3-7.

Blades Fusion ProGlide Park, Swordpoint: The hosting Blades give their captain Snowball her second game off, while the Hummingbirds sit Charli in a tough decision for this game. Sarah slugged 1070 for Tysini to open the scoring, a massive turn for the rookie of the year frontrunner. Dreamy had some good swings, but she still fell with only 180 for Swordpoint to start this game. Leandra made her mark with 740 on the second attack, a good supporting play from the Hummingbirds' captain. Bandit produced 384 for the Blades, but they don't seem to have the energy to compete this time. Vincent had a mediocre 247 for Tysini, exposing their depth issues in a game they should still have under control. Stealth made progress with 544 for Swordpoint, but they remain far behind late in the game. Paps tapped 426 for the Hummingbirds, giving them a total of 2483. Sugar had only 245 for the Blades at the end, sealing their loss at 1353. Tysini is up to 2-8, while Swordpoint is 10-9 and in desperate need of a break.

Samsung Whitewater Stadium, Whitewater: The visiting Pilots are giving Sparkles regular rest, while Marsell's qualifying appearance earns him a game off as the Shores continue a busy week. Valencia had a fairly standard 414 for Golden to start this game. Twinkie III disappointed with only 147 for Whitewater on their opening turn. Dusty couldn't get on track for the Pilots with a middling 264. Shaggy broke her home slump with 490 for the Shores, tightening the game dramatically at the midway point. Strut popped off with 603 for Golden, restoring a commanding lead for the visitors. Katharine had a decent effort going before missing a swing and taking out her own wicket at 339 for Whitewater. Max held his ground with 418 for the Pilots, capping their offense at 1699. Rosalina teed off with 773 for the Shores at the end, bringing their total to 1749 for the stunning comeback win. Whitewater jolts up to 4-7, while Golden falls to 7-5.

Capital City SuperCenter, Capital City: The Shores are back in action after a short trip south, sitting Katharine, while the hosting Sharpshooters have Missy resting after her qualifier. Marsell missed a ball twice with wild swings, falling at 209 as Whitewater takes another sub-par start. Chris blasted 834 for Capital City in response, giving the hosts a solid lead after the first turn. Twinkie III couldn't get back into form here, exiting with a poor 192 as her struggles persist. Sprinkles tallied 353 for the Sharpshooters, adding a little more to their lead. Shaggy failed to make progress with only 258 for Whitewater, keeping them mired in mediocrity for this game. Lorde had a steady 436 for Capital City, boosting their lead a little more ahead of the final players' turns. Rosalina fell in line with the Shores, hitting only 230 to leave them with a sorry total of 889. Pauline took advantage of the pressure-free turn, lining 798 to cap the Sharpshooters' win at 2421. Capital City rises to 4-3, while Whitewater is 4-8.

Misty may be feeling the pressure of a heavy schedule too, hitting only 276 for Westside at the start. Smudge took advantage of it with 603 for Infinity, giving the hosts a rare lead against their dangerous foes. Goatee ended the game with a soaring performance, crushing 3868 as she refused to go down for the Rockers, silencing the home crowd in the second-highest individual effort recorded. This marks the 20th-ever 4k performance for a team. Fluffina had a decent 379 for the Torpedoes, but she backed off to save energy in a lost-cause game. Chimpy tapped 195 for Westside, clearly content to let them cruise on the back of one of the best games of all-time. Mr. Snowman gathered 471 for Infinity, keeping their effort respectable. Hughbert bowed out at a pathetic 81 for the Torpedoes, their loss resting at 1534. Westside is now 15-0, while Infinity drops to 3-7.

Goldy led off with 786 for Everton, trying to pin the morale of their hosts down quickly. Smudge bounced back with 481 for Infinity on her turn, cutting into the deficit pretty well. Cleo fell at only 195 for the Eagles, leaving them vulnerable after the second turn. Shelley answered with 587 for the Torpedoes, covering the deficit at the halfway point. Puff III caused Everton to slip again with only 230 on her turn, wasting their good start against a hungry host. Mr. Snowman slapped 467 for Infinity, reasserting them in the lead with a player each to go. Kirstin flicked 314 for the Eagles, setting their final score at 1525, sealing their loss. McDonald's Pitch at Pirates Park, Atlantic: These two teams meet for a home-and-home doubleheader, with the Pirates sitting Jason N. while the Shores bench Rosalina. Marsell popped 616 for Whitewater on the first turn, a surprisingly good appearance from the struggling player. Delila replied with 656 for Atlantic, putting them narrowly ahead. Twinkie III fired back with 544 for the Shores, giving them a smaller lead on the second attack. Isabella fell at 227 for the Pirates, putting them behind at the halfway mark. Shaggy took 576 for Whitewater, extending their lead significantly with the effort. Steven did well with 451 for Atlantic, but they remain noticeably behind late in the game. Delila began with 521 this time for Atlantic, a bit less than she had last time. Marsell bounced back with 635 for Whitewater, a sign that he may be shaking his early-season struggles. Steven fell apart at 195 for the Pirates, causing them to just lightly cover the deficit on the second attack. Twinkie III put herself back on track with 678 for the Shores, boosting their lead significantly. Klaus gathered 541 for Atlantic on his turn, trying to keep them within striking distance. Shaggy let the Whitewater lead slip as she had only 215 on her turn. Jason N. rallied with 804 for the Pirates, giving them 2061 to just best their previous outing. Rosalina's even 400 denied the Shores a win again, leaving them short at 1928. Atlantic sweeps the doubleheader to get to 7-6, while Whitewater is 4-10 after another mixed-bag week.

Nestle's Warriors Park, Central: Wings rests for the hosts in this game, while the visitors begin a doubleheader without Goatee, finally giving her rest after her previous historic outing. Misty had only 243 for Westside on the opening turn, showing a bit more in terms of fatigue. Twilight had a turn interrupted by technical difficulties, and then scored a mere 81 on the replay. Slinks had only 320 for the Rockers, adding to their small lead with a tension in the air due to the unsteady cadence of the game. Dustin crumbled at a pathetic 96, making things worse in a terrible game for the Warriors. Chimpy slammed 717 for Westside, coming out of nowhere to solidify the visitors' lead. Andrew picked up 382 for Central, a respectable turn but far from enough to save this game currently. Midnight chopped 376 for the Rockers at the end, sealing their offense at 1656. Noelle covered that with 392, but the Warriors stood no chance in losing with 951. Westside didn't dominate, but they've found their way to 16-0, while Central sinks to 6-5.

BMW RockDome, Westside: In the week 6 Premier finale, the Rockers will rest Midnight, while the visiting Hummingbirds have Charli set to rest again. Sarah recorded 476 for Tysini to begin this game, challenging the hosts a bit early on. Misty did well in a bounce-back performance with 429 for Westside, keeping things close after one turn. Leandra stayed in line with 443 for the Hummingbirds, resetting their lead to its previous strength. Slinks showed a little more poise with 544 for the Rockers, pulling them ahead at the halfway point. Vincent stepped up with 429 for Tysini, keeping the visitors in the game. Goatee backed off from record-levels, but still hammered 570 for Westside to give their lead a small jolt heading into the final turn. Paps collected 329 for the Hummingbirds, forcing the hosts to make a small response to a final score of 1677. Chimpy maintained balance with 556 for the Rockers to secure their win at 2099. Westside's historic start continues to 17-0, while Tysini is just another victim, falling to 2-9 despite some good play lately.

Pepsi Prestige Park, Lighton: The Prestige will sit Nicole due to her recent struggles, while Diddley gets a second straight game off for the Lumberjacks after they did well without him. Whiskers didn't get much out of her turn with 175 for Maplewood, leaving them vulnerable to start the game. Acorn answered with 678 for Lighton, lacking a consistent pace but lasting long enough for it to not matter. Bryant slipped at 182 for the Lumberjacks, damaging their comeback effort. Spirit fired back with 537 for the Prestige, with only a bad bounce bringing her turn to its end. Gabe slipped up at 66 for Maplewood, making their output even more miserable in this game. Katelynn tacked on 530 more for Lighton, keeping their offense crisp and opportunistic. Summer had a respectable 370 for the Lumberjacks, but they took a hard loss at 793. Waluigi served up a massive 913 at the end to give the Prestige a total of 2658. Lighton rises to 18-18, while Maplewood drops back to 21-19 with the loss.

Mercedes-Benz Field, Harrison: The Defenders begin a road doubleheader with Hughbert on the bench, while the hosting Specters sit Sydney this time out. Southridge's Bianca put the visitors in a strong starting position with 576 on the opening turn. Twinkie II shot back with a pacey 466 for Harrison, her rare look at lead-off going fairly well. Debby had a decent 337 for the Defenders on the second attack, providing a small extension to their lead. Lexi didn't recover well for the Specters, her 207 causing the deficit to grow for the hosts halfway through the game. A bad bounce caught Stephanie off guard at 174 for Southridge, weakening their lead again as her individual slump persists. Rudolph made a push with 405 for Harrison, making it a close game to be settled by the final players. Caitlin exploded with 998 for the Defenders to close their scoring at an impressive 2085. Mitchell put an extra shove on his last swing, dropping the turn at 192 as the Specters lose with 1270. Southridge jumps to 29-11, while Harrison sinks to 15-24.

Toyota Pitch, Freedom: The Defenders complete their road schedule here, with their captain Debby resting, while the Cascades bench Nikolai in hopes of playing the starts favorably at home. Bianca hit a ball lightly that got deflected out of play on the next offering, stalling her at 105 for Southridge. Jasmine fired back with 475 for Freedom, putting them nicely ahead on the first turn. Stephanie did a little better this time with 346 for the Defenders, but they remain marginally behind. Stinky provided another 447 for the Cascades, adding nicely to their lead at the midway point. Caitlin couldn't recreate her last effort for Southridge, falling at 225 as their deficit grows. Roxy matched it with 225 for Freedom, keeping their lead steady heading into the final players' turns. Hughbert countered with 412 for the Defenders at the end, bringing their final score to 1088 in the low-scoring loss. Stripes made a mess of the last turn with 128 for the Cascades, but they won at 1275. Freedom jumps to 24-12, while Southridge drops to 29-12 with the loss, going 14-8 on the road during the season.

Kraft Crowns Park, Royal: The Sharks are now on a road doubleheader, with Salmo sitting in this fifth of a seven-game road trip, while the Crowns sit Jeremias in their third of five straight at home. Graham couldn't quite find his swing for Eastside, falling at a middling 284. Kayla launched 807 for Royal on their first turn, giving the hosts quite a lead at the start of the game. Chelsea attacked with 569 for the Sharks, covering the deficit lightly on a firm second turn for the visitors. Jake didn't do as well with 340 for the Crowns, but they regained a smaller lead halfway through the game. Gizmo got beat on a deflection at a measly 24 for Eastside, shredding their comeback hopes. Nightfur had fun with her turn, lacing 768 for Royal to extend their lead greatly late in the game. Cubby had a nice 471 for the Sharks at the end, but they lost with 1348. Cassie flicked only 100 for the Crowns, but they won with 2015 as they remain tough to beat at home. Royal rises to 26-12, while Eastside drops to 19-20 on the loss.

Graham continued to falter for Eastside, a paltry 98 all he could muster on this one. Sydney hammered 829 for Harrison in response, giving the hosts a significant early lead. Chelsea tried to bring a fast offering down on her backhand, but it bounced off and cut her down at 396 for the Sharks. Twinkie II fired back with a huge 878 for the Specters, practically doubling their offense. Cubby picked up a strong 444 for Eastside, but it didn't do much against the steep deficit. Rudolph showed off a bit with a nice backhand late, and then tallied 784 to pad the Harrison lead. Salmo chipped 319 for the Sharks, but they took the loss at 1257 anyway. Mitchell paddled another 554 for the Specters, icing a big win at 3045. Harrison's big win takes them to 16-24, while Eastside fades again to 19-21.

GE Stadium, Southridge: The Defenders return home to launch a three-game home stand, sitting Bianca, while the Wolves' patience with Frosty runs thin as they bench her again. Juno couldn't find a groove for Stonebridge to lead things off, taking only 162 on their first turn of the game. Debby went off with 1413 for Southridge, slugging the hosts to a massive lead early in the game. Hershey was too stunned to make an appropriate counterattack, losing control at only 96 for the Wolves. Stephanie also played poorly, hitting only 44 for Southridge as her late-season slump continues to rule the headlines. Vladimir had a decent 287 for Stonebridge on this one, but they remain deeply behind. Caitlin also had a surge with 931 for Southridge, keeping them firmly in control. Cobalt let a ball jump over his bat, ending his turn at 164 as his defense was not sound, and the Wolves lost with a total of 709. Hughbert kept it simple with 292 for the Defenders, capping their win at 2680. Southridge rises to 30-12 on the year, while Stonebridge takes a rough fall to 14-27, and an 8-14 road record.

Toyota Pitch, Freedom: The Cascades begin a home doubleheader against the Lumberjacks. The visitors have Whiskers taking presumably her last rest of the regular season, while the hosts rest Stinky. Diddley ripped 679 at a good pace for Maplewood, giving them a very stable start to their road finale. Jasmine struggled in response for Freedom with only 226, giving them an early deficit. Bryant didn't give the Lumberjacks much support with 240 on their second attack. Roxy couldn't keep a clean swing for the Cascades, downed by a deflection at only 105. Gabe kept the scoring on a decline, hitting a pathetic 32 for Maplewood as their lead weakens again. Nikolai belted 1401 for Freedom this time, giving the hosts a massive lead late in the game. Summer made a counterattack with 504 for the Lumberjacks, but they still took the loss at 1455. Stripes tapped 84 for the Cascades at the end to ice their win at 1816. Freedom rises to 25-12 on the year, while Maplewood drops to 21-20, ending 11-11 on the road.

Mams had some unlucky bounces early, cratering her pace and holding her to 245 for Viewpoint Sound to start. Jasmine lined 711 for Freedom this time, pacing them to a nice early lead. Hoot only had 128 in response for the Meteors, causing the deficit facing them to grow. Stinky fired back with 463 for the Cascades, a firm attack to pad their lead halfway through the game. Nibbles slipped up at 257 for Viewpoint Sound, another promising attack wasted by one bad swing. Nikolai lost a bit of ground when his backhand betrayed him at only 133 for Freedom. Freedom jumps again to 26-12, while Viewpoint Sound drops to 16-22, and announces that Vincent will be loaned to the developmental league for the remainder of the season.

Chelsea couldn't corral a ball on her backhand for Eastside, ending her decent looking turn at 368 when the wicket fell. Bianca fired back with 509 for Southridge on their first turn, giving the hosts a minor lead. Gizmo stumbled to 168 for the Sharks, sending his last swing sky-high for the ugly finish. Debby was no better with 128 for the Defenders, slightly weakening their lead with the poor performance. Cubby saw his turn end at 115 when a high-arcing ball landed squarely on his wicket, immediately stalling the Eastside comeback attempt. Spirit couldn't cover the damage for the Prestige, but her 722 kept them in close range midway through the exciting game. Kraft Crowns Park, Royal: The Crowns have a chance to secure a spot in the top-three with Jeremias on the bench, while the visiting Monarchs hope to strengthen their playoff chances while Hoppy rests. Avril started well with 447 for Southern, giving them a stable foundation for the game. Kayla picked up 620 for Royal in response, giving the hosts a lead after the first turn. Panda made an amazing stop on his backhand for the Monarchs, settling the ball behind him, but his attempt to retrieve it caused his downfall at 624. Jake had 376 for the Crowns on their second attack, creating a small deficit for the hosts. Pounce left Southern vulnerable with a lousy 171 on his turn, weakening their lead. Viewpoint Sound got scared but won anyway at 17-22, while Harrison drops to 16-25 with the loss.

Spice had an unimpressive 234 for Victoria on the opening turn of the game. Rosalina answered with 288 for Diamond to give them a small lead at the start this time. Yekaterina was forced onto her backhand and failed to flick it to safety, ending with a meager 52 for the Spurs in a disappointing effort. Citrus had a couple of subtle touches on her backhand, but under pressure, she fell at 345 as the Gems only mildly extend their lead. Wario had only 69 for Victoria, failing to produce much on offense in a frustrating game. Pedey blundered to 691 for Diamond, lacking much control on his swings but still scoring well. Strawberry had a heavy back-swing that ended her turn at 311, leaving the Spurs at a loss with 666. Smokey went off with 833 for the Gems at the end, icing their win at 2157 to snap an eight-game home losing streak. Diamond is up to 10-26, while Victoria drops to 14-17 with the loss.

Kraft Crowns Park, Royal: The Crowns are back home in their first game this week, sitting Cassie, while the Gems complete their doubleheader on the road with Rosalina out of the lineup. Citrus had an awful 51 for Diamond, getting distracted early and predictably bowing out. Kayla pounded 566 for Royal in response, their first turn going much better as the hosts claim an early lead. Pedey pulled back with 380 for the Gems, but they'll remain behind despite an improved second attack. Jake accepted 929 after a technical error, doing well in extending the Crowns lead significantly. Smokey tried to help for Diamond, but he was a little low on pace and ended at 361. Jeremias shot back with 745 for Royal, boosting their lead once again with a great turn. Cassandra rallied with 690 for the Gems, but they still lost definitively at 1482. Nightfur capped the Crowns win with 488, giving them a total of 2728. Royal rises to 19-10, while Diamond falls back to 10-27.

Pepsi Prestige Park, Lighton: The Prestige finally give Spirit another game off, while the Meteors have Vincent on the bench in the road half of their doubleheader. Mams tried to get by with fancy bat work, but she dragged a ball into her wicket, ending at 117 for Viewpoint Sound in a poor start. Subway Field, Stonebridge: The Prestige are back at it in this road game, sitting Katelynn, while the Wolves rest Frosty in this meeting. Acorn went off with 719 for Lighton right at the start of the game, a strong opening turn for the visitors. Juno had only 382 for Stonebridge in response, halving the deficit. The Prestige's Spirit countered with 573 on the second attack, extending their lead quite nicely. Hershey likely just won the game for the Wolves, rallying with an epic and massive 2531 to produce a gigantic lead. Nicole faltered with 192 for Lighton, too stunned to make much of a counterattack as her side falls into an abyss for scoring. Vladimir didn't ease up at all for Stonebridge, tacking on an even 1000 to their offense. Waluigi attacked with pace but ended at 407 for the Prestige, who lost with a total of 1891. Cobalt was a bit light on offense at 249, but the Wolves secured the 18th 4k performance in league history in their win at 4162, a highlight in a lost season. Stonebridge is up to 13-24, while Lighton is sliding under a heavier schedule, down to 15-13.

Debby had only 99 for the Defenders, getting distracted and also not quite having the swings she wanted. Jeremias shot back with 384 for the Crowns, extending their lead nicely at the halfway mark. Caitlin helped Southridge cover the deficit with 497 on this turn, but the lead is not large. Nightfur stayed consistent with 455 for Royal, keeping them ahead with the good turn. Hughbert got overwhelmed fairly early, ending with 136 as the Defenders lose with 1139. Cassie contributed 459 for the Crowns at the end, lifting them to the win with 1856. Royal is back to 20-11, while Southridge dips to 24-9, their iron grip on the league lead beginning to weaken.

Microsoft Pitch, Del Sur: The Monarchs take on S-Line Derby rivals in the Wolves, with the hosts sitting Avril ahead of a long road trip, while the Wolves bench Cobalt in a one-off road game. Juno immediately pressured the hosts, slashing 814 for Stonebridge on a great first turn. Hoppy answered with 178 for Southern this time, a poor start putting them far behind. Frosty slipped at 112 for the Wolves, potentially letting their opponents regain their footing. Panda made a large dent with 681 for the Monarchs, making it a much closer game at the halfway point. Hershey went smaller this time, but his 394 is a respectable addition to the Stonebridge offense. Pounce countered that much more strongly with 688 for Southern, putting them ahead with a player each to go. Vladimir picked up 135 for the Wolves, unable to cover the deficit as they lost with 1455. Dominic tacked on another 705 for the Monarchs to put them at a total of 2252 in this win. Southern gets an important win to rise to 20-15, while Stonebridge is officially out of contention for a Hutton Cup spot at 13-25.

Pepsi Prestige Park, Lighton: The Prestige continue a busy week as they begin a four-game home stand. Nicole sits for the hosts this time, while the Specters bench Mitchell for this game. Harrison got off to a great start with 661 for Harrison, giving them a stable foundation. Acorn shot back with 552 for Lighton on their opening turn, keeping them within striking distance initially. Twinkie II pounded 965 back for the Specters in a difficult turn at times, but ultimately a productive one. Spirit lost ground with 721 for the Prestige, but they still have a chance despite the deficit. Lexi countered with a strong 535 for Harrison, keeping them in charge. Katelynn made minor progress with 631 for Lighton, but they'll need more on the next turn. Rudolph hit only 280 for the Specters, potentially leaving them exposed at a total of 2441. Waluigi made quite the push with 433 for the Prestige, but they still fell with a total of 2337. Harrison pulls off the upset this time, going to 14-19, while Lighton plummets to 15-14.

Pepsi Prestige Park, Lighton: The Prestige sit their captain Acorn in a critical game for their season, while the visiting Lumberjacks bench Bryant after a bad previous outing last week. Whiskers had no troubles with pace for Maplewood, but her last swing went high, cutting her off at 388. Spirit did a similar thing, but far earlier in her turn, ending with a meager 80 for a fatigued Lighton side. Diddley scraped 640 for the Lumberjacks on the second attack, giving them a much more convincing lead. Katelynn couldn't do anything with 96 for the Prestige, their season falling apart all at once. Gabe tapped only 131 for Maplewood as the scoring begins to get a bit sloppy all around. Nicole cut into the deficit with 608 for Lighton, but they've got another noticeable hill to climb with a player each to go. Summer shot back with 742 for the Lumberjacks, padding their offense to a final score of 1901. Waluigi failed to catch up with 360 for the Prestige, this loss totaling 1144. Maplewood gets to fifth place at 19-18, while Lighton sinks to 15-15.

The Intel Pitch, Diamond: The Gems face a tough task when they host a Defenders team ready to prove they haven't peaked. Both captains, Smokey and Debby, sit this one out. Bianca shelved 760 for Southridge in a potent and pacey opening turn for the visitors. Rosalina forced herself into a technical error replay, and then had a pitiful 49 on the second try as Diamond falls behind early. Stephanie tallied 643 on the second attack to pad the Defenders lead quite nicely. Citrus fell at a measly 16 for the Gems after an errant swing on the third offering. Caitlin tacked on 291 for Southridge this time, keeping their lead strong and stable. Pedey took only 197 for Diamond, their offense falling very flat in this lopsided meeting. Hughbert had a poor 135 for the Defenders at the end, but this gave them a final score of 1829 in what should be a win. Cassandra made a push with 519 for the Gems, but they lost with 781 in total. Southridge is up to 25-9, while Diamond sinks to 11-28.

Pepsi Prestige Park, Lighton: The Prestige and Defenders meet in the week's finale, with Waluigi resting for the hosts while Hughbert sits for performance for the visitors. Bianca poked 471 for Southridge this time, tired and lacking pace from the long travel in the doubleheader. Acorn got 320 back for Lighton, keeping them close again despite such strategies failing earlier. Debby lost control rather early for the Defenders, her 113 causing their lead to weaken. Spirit chopped 703, giving the Prestige a clear lead halfway through the game. Stephanie didn't even bring Southridge close with 135, causing them to panic a bit as the game slips away from them.
