The season has reached its tenth week now, and the festivities begin as usual in...

Starbucks Cup, Archtown: The Arrows look to stay strong at home against a lowly Crowns side. Frosty got distracted by a ball soaring off a deflection to the back 6s, causing her to be late on the next swing for a score off 117 for Royal. Sally had only 184 in response for Archtown, as the game starts in low-scoring form. Jake did very poorly for the Crowns, failing to cover a small deficit by taking only 21. Sleepy B. didn't exactly break out either, but her 243 gives the Arrows slightly more breathing room halfway through the game. Marsell answered with 391 for Royal, getting them into the fight again. Ruby chopped 416 to protect the Archtown lead well. Nightfur forced a response by putting up 416 for the Crowns, with a full-extension backhand flip helping her get the Crowns to 945 total. Dusky hit 260 for the Arrows, giving them the win with 1103 in a timid opening to the week. Archtown continues to ride a strong home record to 8-6 overall, while Royal's down to 6-11 on a five-game losing streak.

McDonald's Pitch at Pirates Park, Atlantic: The Pirates look to suppress a recent surge by the Defenders. Boots knocked 361 for Southridge in a decent opening. Atlantic's Pirates Park nearly exploded with excitement as Delila etched her name in second place on the all-time individual scores in a single outing list, crushing 3578, just 70 points shy of the 2013 record set by Tigerette of the Commerce Tradewinds. Debby replied with a usually remarkable 656 for the Defenders, but the scale of this game is different from the average league game. Amber countered with 504 for the Pirates, officially making them the tenth team to ever eclipse 4000 as a team in a single game. J. Garcia managed 263 for Southridge, as the visitors play out the string from an impossible position. Americus tallied 463 for Atlantic as the crowd remains enthralled with the historically brilliant performance. Shaggy ripped 510 to put the Defenders at 1790 in what's usually a win, but will go down this time as a brutal loss. Dominic capped the Pirates' franchise magnum opus with another 616 to give them the second-best team final in league history, 5161. This trails a Capital City Sharpshooters effort from Week 23 of last season, in which they dropped 5312 on none other than the Southridge Defenders. The Pirates stand at 12-10 now, with a ton of momentum to carry on with, while the Defenders once again hang their heads in falling to 6-14.

Coca-Cola Field, Boston: The Swifts look to avoid a sweep, but the Knights come into the match with some serious road momentum on their side for the league's 300th game of the season. Kiwi smacked a comfortable 755 for Terrace City to get them going in this Center Division brawl. Patches had a decent response in pulling in 472 for Boston to keep things moving. Jennifer had her first road stumble for the Knights, taking just 49 in a routine falter. Puff II capitalized with 432 for the Swifts, giving them the lead with an opportunistic turn. Oreo fired back with 671 for Terrace City, successfully cleaning up Jennifer's mistake. Gradley rocked 631 to pull Boston back into a somewhat narrow lead. Stripes had 243 for the Knights, leaving them at 1718, a score most doubt will be sufficient for this game. Sweetheart had replays for a false start and a technical error before officially scoring 408, lifting the Swifts to a win with 1943. Boston gets the season split against a tough division rival, climbing to 15-8, while Terrace City takes a fall to 12-8.

Capital City SuperCenter: These two teams meet for the first time this season, a rematch of the first year's Records Game, when they set the initial high-water marks for a variety of statistics. Acorn led off with 396 for Lighton in a reasonable performance. Chris adeptly handled having a wicket in an advanced position, rallying for 811 for Capital City to take the first lead. Spirit fired back with 665 for the Prestige, pulling them in front for a bit. Missy had 307 for the Sharpshooters, allowing the game to tighten up a bit. Twinkie I kept the pressure high by striking 416 for Lighton. Sprinkles contributed 535 to keep Capital City in control of the game as the final players step up to bat. Lydia swatted 487 to give the Prestige a final score of 1964, forcing a response from the hosts. Dani chipped 529 to give the Sharpshooters a victorious final of 2182. Capital City finds themselves level again at 8-8, while Lighton is a hair north of .500 at 10-9.

Nestle's Warriors Park, Central: Two teams with high expectations tangle in what should be a competitive game. Princess faltered with 176 for Tysini, leaving them in a dangerous spot early against a talented team. Twilight sprayed 656 for Central to take a large lead after the captains completed their turns. Leandra clambered back with 875 for the Hummingbirds, keeping them in the thick of the battle. Dustin scooped up 510 for the Warriors to keep them in the lead halfway through the game. Charli fought back with 460 for Tysini, keeping things at a high-scoring pace. Noelle kept Central firmly in front, belting 788 to build up the lead one more time. Bright tallied 416, preventing disaster early with a reaction-time flick on his backhand to put a ball in the back 4s, but the Hummingbirds took the loss with 1927. Gizmo kept the finish simple, poking 64 to put the Warriors at 2018 in the win. Central's victory gets them to 14-7, leap-frogging the now 12-7 Tysini team.

Nike Field, Commerce: A Tradewinds team with much success so far gets an ice-cold Flames side as an opponent. Crystal took just 72 for Queens in a poor showing. Tigerette pounded out 701 for Commerce in a good opening attack for the hosts. Kayla answered with 466 for the Flames, giving them a shot in the game. Ice Cream got most of it back, striking 457 for the Tradewinds to maintain a favorable lead. Max had just 171 for Queens, letting the game get away from them. Lionel started slowly in his turn, but churned out 527 for Commerce to extend their lead again. Paige batted 304 to give the Flames a final of 1013 in their fifth straight road loss. Lorde drilled 639 for the Tradewinds, allowing it to expire and declining an optional replay to end the Tradewinds victory at 2324. Commerce gets the division win to go to 15-8, keeping pace with the Swifts, while the Flames are 4-13, having lost six straight and with an 0-6 division mark.

The Intel Pitch, Diamond: This is the first of two meetings in two weeks between these teams, beginning in the Eastern Hills region in Diamond. Misty raked in 193 for Westside in a mediocre start. Smokey went a little too big with his swings, ending up with 245 for Diamond after skying the final ball. Goatee got a bit loose with the bat on her turn, ending at 289 after flipping a ball haphazardly onto her wicket, but restoring a minor lead for the Rockers in the process. Citrus struggled with getting full swings in, scoring 255 to put the Gems narrowly in front again. Midnight had a meager 135 for Westside, endangering their chances again. Pedey jumped at the chance to make an impact, cranking out 478 for Diamond to have a strong lead. Chicky Phil had 256 for the Rockers, and they lost with 873 as he failed to cover the deficit. Cassandra's 529 iced the Gems victory at 1507. Diamond gets a big win against a comparable team, jumping to 8-10 while Westside crosses the quarter pole at 5-11.

HP Field, Eastside: The Defenders remain on the road, heading to the farthest reaches of the rural southeast for their next match. Boots had a less-than-confident 176 for Southridge on her optional replay attempt from a technical error, as she appears shaken by the previous brutal defeat. Graham replied with a modest 240 to give Eastside a slight lead early on. Debby took a measly 82 for the Defenders, again causing the visitors some danger. Chelsea remained reliable for the Sharks, reinforcing the lead with her 530 to bring the game to half-completion. J. Garcia got cut down with a deflection that ended her efforts at 162 for Southridge, as it appears this game will be out of their reach. Taylor carved up Southridge's bowling again, blasting 1639 to virtually guarantee an Eastside win. The Defenders dialed up another loss when Shaggy poked 135, putting them at 555 total in a bruising, confidence-shattering loss. Niki capped the Sharks win with 320 individually for a final score of 2729. Eastside continues to surge on a high-powered offense, charging to 9-7 a quarter of the way through their schedule, while Southridge drops to 6-15 on a three-game losing streak. The Defenders also announced a change to their coaching staff in an effort to correct the current downward trajectory.

Chevrolet Field, Everton: The Eagles look to sweep the Sharpshooters after winning in Capital City in week 5. Chris opened with 513 for Capital City, a good effort against a difficult opponent. Goldy fell out of form with 146 for Everton. Missy didn't do any better, taking just 113 for the Sharpshooters in a shaky outing for the explosive slapper. Puff III hauled in 316 for the Eagles, recovering a good portion of the deficit. Sprinkles didn't help much with 211 for Capital City, endangering their lead once again versus the potent offense of the hosts. Cleo showed poise about midway through her turn, settling a high ball on her backhand and then sending it forward at the right time, tallying 535 to give Everton the late lead. Dani's 153 completed the Sharpshooters' squandering of an early advantage, as they took the loss with 990. Blizzard sent the fans home happy with 471 for the Eagles, putting them at 1468 in their tenth straight home win, remaining perfect at home this season. Everton is also now 18-2, while Capital City suffered a setback to 8-9.

Toyota Pitch, Freedom: Two teams in pale blue battle, with the Shores looking to take a sweep after a win two weeks ago. The Shores do face a poor run of road form along with a confident Cascades squad in their battle. Bear only produced a meager 96 for Whitewater, setting them back early on. Jasmine buried the opposition with 1294 for Freedom, the third best score to come out of the Eastern Hills region in the first segment of the week. Twinkie III shot back with 279 for the Shores, an average effort. Stinky's 160 for the Cascades acted as a minor reinforcement for their large lead. Cheddar remained out of form, taking only 16 for Whitewater after a mistimed swing ended her turn. Roxy went for 120 for Freedom, keeping things simple and riding their captain's effort at this stage of the game. Wild Thing supplied 260 for the Shores, putting them at 651 in a fifth straight road loss. Nikolai's clumsy 168 put the Cascades at a final of 1742 in their win. Freedom coasted to a victory that made them 12-10, while Whitewater's struggles continue to worsen as they fall to 8-14.

Amazon Field, Golden: Territorial rivals separated by regional divides battle, with both teams coming in hot to their first meeting of the season. Graham remains wild on the road, taking 260 for Eastside in this initial attack. Valencia employed a more composed style, and nearly doubled output, posting 519 for Golden. Chelsea fired back with 375 for the Sharks, keeping them in the game. Dusty fell in the trap against a team she departed under bitter circumstances, hitting only 144 for the Pilots as the game gets close halfway through. Taylor lined 304 for Eastside to take a noticeable lead. Strut put a slight extension on the Golden lead, tacking on 368 just before the final players step up to bat. Stepping up is exactly what the Sharks' Niki did, dealing with a cluttered pitch en route to 659, which put the Sharks at 1598 total. A. Charlton let the last ball get away from her, scoring only 152 as the Pilots took a loss at home for the first time since week 3, with a final of 1183. Eastside is clearly legitimate, beating their closest rivals to go to 10-7, while Golden sees a four-game winning streak and a six-game home winning streak end as they fall to 13-8.

We close out the ninth week of the season with a variety of games, starting with a return match of...

Microsoft Pitch at Del Sur: The Sharks seek a season sweep after opening their season with a win over the Monarchs at home. Graham got Eastside going on the right foot, crushing 1483 to establish a massive lead. Panda had only 124 after failing to spike a ball back into play, putting Southern far behind. Chelsea accidentally knocked a ball into the stumps while winding up for the incoming offering, producing 194 for the Sharks. Shannon's 296 helped the Monarchs gain a small portion back. Taylor drilled another 686 to add to the Eastside lead, likely securing the game for them. Kirstin botched one ball twice, failing to hit it going forward and then getting too much of it on her backhand, ending her turn with 280 for Southern. Niki's 224 made it a final of 2587 for the Sharks in what they expect will become a win. Nicole managed 418 for the Monarchs, as they lost their fifth straight at home with 1118. Eastside continues their rebound to 8-7, while Southern drops to 7-16 in a busy and unsuccessful stretch of the season.

GE Stadium, Southridge: The Defenders get their turn to host the league-leading Eagles. Goldy began with 348 for Everton, the second consecutive road game where she's had her lowest effort of the season. Boots lined 423 to give Southridge a narrow lead early in the game. Puff III paid for a slightly early swing, ending with 225 for the Eagles as the game remains close. Debby took 407 for the Defenders, strengthening their lead at the halfway mark. Cleo launched 460 to keep Everton in the thick of the battle, a solid performance. J. Garcia let the Southridge lead slip away when she had only 176, putting them just barely behind with a player each to go. Blizzard clobbered 803 to give the Eagles a final of 1836 in a massive closing performance. Her sister Shaggy came up empty with 87 for the Defenders, and they lost with 1093. Everton had a nail-biter for a second there, but emerged with the win to go to 17-2, while Southridge is 6-13 on the opposite end of the table.

Blades Fusion ProGlide Park, Swordpoint: Division games continue to elude us as better than average teams meet on the outskirts of the Southwest. Jasmine couldn't flick the ball high enough on her backhand, suffering a quick exit at 57 points for Freedom. Snowball ripped 627 to give Swordpoint a sufficient early lead. Stinky suffered a similar fate like his captain, deflecting a ball out of bounds for 105 points to contribute for the Cascades. Dreamy faltered with 93 for the Blades, leaving the door somewhat ajar for the visitors. Roxy sliced 378 for Freedom, closing some of the gap with a solid effort. Shawn had just 177 for Swordpoint, allowing their lead to slip again as the final players step up to bat. Nikolai had only 25 for the Cascades, and they suffered a loss with 565 as their offense has left them. Stealth capped the Blades with 544 individually for a total of 1441. Swordpoint continues to ride in second place, now at 15-4, while Freedom takes another setback to 11-10.

Audi Knights Pitch, Terrace City: The Stills will head home for a doubleheader after this first-ever meeting with the Knights. Easter looked confident for Todavía, but ended with 312 in an average showing. Kiwi suffered a bad bounce that brought her down at 28 for Terrace City, putting them behind. Sierra's unnecessary attempt at a backhand went as poorly as expected, and she had a pathetic 5 points for the Stills, making this a sloppy start to the game. Jennifer had a cluttered pitch for most of her turn, but she handled it well, slapping 569 to put the Knights ahead halfway through the game. Leonardo got Todavía back on track with 463, giving them at least a temporary lead. Terrace City didn't do all that well in recovering, as Oreo had 141, making it a close game as we near the finish. Sparkles gave the Stills a decent chance, with her 499 giving them a final of 1279. Stripes popped 249 for the Knights, and they lost for the fourth straight home game, with a score of 987. Todavía snapped a six-game losing streak to get to 8-10, while Terrace City's recent misery put them at 12-7.

Apple Park, Todavía: The Stills get their second game at home, against a team in a similar position to their own. Slinks had some troubles with the pace of the game, but scored 455 for Harrison in a decent showing. Easter got 319 back for Todavía, keeping them within range with her average effort. Twinkie II slapped a quick 601 for the Specters to add onto their lead. Sierra made it a very close game, striking 748 for the Stills in a good bounce-back appearance. Sydney failed to adjust for a ball that arrived slowly, skying it for 242 to tack onto the Harrison score. Leonardo's poor home form continued, and he had a meager 82 for Todavía, allowing the visitors to take control late. Brownie had 393 for the Specters, producing a final of 1691. Sparkles had just 247 for the Stills, allowing them to lose with 1396. Harrison gets going in the right direction to 11-10, poking their head above water again, while Todavía is pushed back to 8-11.

Cisco Tysini Field, Tysini: A potential bloodbath is set for these two bitter Southwestern rivals, as a Division game finally graces our schedule. Smudge batted 267 in a middling effort for Infinity. Princess belted 1128 for Tysini in response in a wonderful outing for the captain. Shelley recovered about half of Princess' work, tallying 582 for the Torpedoes to remain somewhat competitive. Leandra took just 99 for the Hummingbirds, allowing the lead to slip a bit. Gabe made it interesting with 432 for Infinity, putting them right next to the hosts. Charli cranked out 609 to restore a lead for Tysini. Whiskers put in a good effort, but her 308 for the Torpedoes sealed their loss at 1589. Bright got it all back anyway, with his 311 ending the Hummingbirds' victory at 2147. Tysini remains a powerful force at the head of the second tier, going to 12-6 while Infinity plummets to 3-15, also 0-5 in the West Division.

Sprint Pitch, Victoria: The Spurs' recent success will be tested against a high-powered Warriors offense. Twilight started off with a patient approach, and then surged forward to take 543 for Central in an admirable start. Spice answered with 432 in a strong response for Victoria, keeping them in range. Dustin had a poor showing, taking only 117 after leaving his bat too low to swing. The Spurs didn't get a great turn out of B. Chapman, whose ill-advised swing ended her turn at 149. Noelle fired back with 688 for Central, cementing their lead pretty well. Yekaterina had some bad luck for Victoria, taking just 36 due to a bad bounce that brought her turn to its end. Gizmo erupted for 780 for the Warriors, producing their final score of 2128. Kavan managed only 182 for the Spurs, and they lost with just 799 overall. Central succeeded on their traveling mission, improving to 12-7, while Victoria falls to 7-13 with this setback.

Volkswagen Stadium, Viewpoint Sound: The Specters continue their Coastal trip, visiting the other purple team up north. Slinks had a messy start and quick finish, producing a measly 17 for Harrison to begin with. Mr. Snowman played well to score 385 for Viewpoint Sound, but he also caused his own demise by directing a ball out of bounds inexplicably. Twinkie II fell out of rhythm for the Specters, scoring just 36 as the visitors appear doomed already in this game. Mams supplied 328 to keep the Meteors strong. Sydney rallied for 582 to get Harrison back into the fight after a nightmarish start. Zach put up 200 for Viewpoint Sound, a shaky affirmation for the tenuous lead. Brownie went big, but ended early, with her 220 sealing the Specters loss at 855. Kelly hauled in 353 to put the Meteors at 1266 in their win. Viewpoint Sound went to 6-9, while Harrison can't seem to shake averageness, returning to 11-11 on the even record.

Home Depot Forum, Web City: The Spiders have improved form recently, but face a big test in the Blades. Snowball did not start well for Swordpoint, taking just 54 on a weak showing. Shadow had a steady appearance, as the composed Web City captain carved out 529 to give the hosts a decent lead. Dreamy's road hot streak ended when she released too soon on a swing, ending with 136 for the Blades in response to her brother. Rainmane smacked 873 for the Spiders, solidifying their lead. Shawn couldn't muster a response, taking a weak 128 for Swordpoint as the game gets away from them. Sugar grabbed 379 to keep Web City stable with their significant lead. Stealth cobbled 441 for the Blades, but his comeback effort fell well short as they lost with 759. Shiny's 343 gave the Spiders a massive win with 2124. Web City continues to recover from a dreadful start, jumping to 6-9 on a four-game winning streak, while Swordpoint suffers the upset to drop to 15-5, now third in the league.

BMW RockDome, Westside: The suburban team gets to bring in their urban rivals in a Center Division battle. Juno gave Modernistic a solid opening attack with 407. Misty edged Westside narrowly in front, tallying 466 to give them the initial lead. Ms. Puppy didn't have the best response, taking 250 for the Union to give them a modest lead. Goatee drilled 484 for the Rockers, restoring a better lead for the hosts at the halfway mark. Chimpy let the deficit remain as he wrangled in just 160 for Modernistic, hurting their chances dramatically. Midnight swatted 397 more for Westside as they've put together a remarkable team effort in this game. Puff I had only 104 for the Union, and they lost with a total of 921. Chicky Phil tallied 456 for the Rockers, giving them a final of 1803 in the win. Westside showed a unified front to jump to 5-10, while Modernistic looked fractured in losing and dropping to 7-10.

Samsung Whitewater Stadium, Whitewater: The Warriors look for a sweep after an early-season win over the Shores at home in this battle of last year's two major trophy winners. Twilight plastered 383 for Central in a reasonable opening attack for a former MVP candidate. Bear's inconsistency struck again as he took only 240 for Whitewater, starting them behind in this game. Dustin slugged 695 to pad the Warriors lead subtly. Twinkie III shot back, swinging 495 to keep the Shores from complete meltdown. Noelle erased most of that, getting 467 for Central to maintain their lofty lead. Cheddar's 384 caused Whitewater to fall slightly farther behind for a third straight set of turns. Gizmo may have left the Warriors vulnerable, taking only 141 to put them at 1686 overall. Wild Thing tried to step up, but his 317 meant the Shores lost with 1436. Central gets the season sweep to continue their early season run of success, putting them at 13-7, while Whitewater is down to 8-13.

The middle segment of this week begins with...

Mercedes-Benz Field, Harrison: Two teams with the same primary colors are set to meet to get their seasons out of the middle of the pack. Misty led off with 663 for Westside in an admirable opening appearance. Slinks answered with 354 for Harrison, getting them somewhat close in the game. Goatee took only 162 more for the Rockers, allowing their lead to shrink a bit. Twinkie II lifted the Specters into the lead with 1019, a critical effort from the hosts' biggest star. Midnight's 206 did not cover the deficit for Westside, causing them more problems. Sydney padded the Harrison lead with 514, likely securing the win. Chicky Phil raked in 404 for the Rockers, but they took the loss with 1435. Brownie's 466 put the Specters at a winning final of 2353. Harrison moved to 10-10 with the win, while the loss places Westside at 4-9 in the midst of a poor season.

Nissan Infinity Stadium, Infinity: Two bitter Southwestern rivals tangle in this division battle. Acorn belted 1197 right off the bat to give Lighton massive. Smudge had a meager 66 for Infinity, watching them get buried early on. Spirit rallied for 425 for the Prestige, adding significantly to their lead. Shelley countered with 504 for the Torpedoes, making a minor dent in the deficit. Twinkie I pulled back with 364 for Lighton, maintaining their lead. Gabe took 49 for Infinity, confirming their demise almost assuredly. Lydia iced the Prestige's efforts with 330 individually for a final of 2316. Whiskers answered with 515 for the Torpedoes, giving them a losing total of 1134. Lighton's division win puts them at 9-8, while Infinity drops to 3-14, holding down last place very effectively.

Pepsi Prestige Park, Lighton: The Prestige make the short trip home to meet the floundering Shores. Bear set the tone with 840 for Whitewater, giving them a well-established lead early on. Acorn answered with 495 for Lighton, keeping them competitive. Twinkie III got it all back with 492 for the Shores, keeping them steady. Spirit shot back with 636 for the Prestige, pulling them closer in the game. Cheddar faltered with 33 for Whitewater. Twinkie I pulled Lighton into the lead with 416, making it a close game late. Wild Thing managed just 96 for the Shores, giving them a final of 1461 in the loss. Lydia chopped 527 for the Prestige, icing their win at 2074. Lighton improves again to 10-8, while Whitewater can't get out of their own way, falling to 8-12.

UPS Ground, Maplewood: Easter began with 347 for Todavía, working slowly but steadily to give them a decent start. Maplewood took a minor lead as Fluffina lined 423 on her turn to put the hosts in front. Sierra answered with a bold 686 for the Stills, giving them a more confident lead this time around. Bryant scooped up 498 to keep the Lumberjacks relatively close at the halfway mark of the game. Leonardo faltered with 113 for Todavía, leaving them vulnerable. Diddley smacked 528 for Maplewood, regaining the lead as the game enters its late stages. Sparkles had 459 for the Stills, giving them 1605 total and forcing a response from the hosts. Cubby poked 287 to give the Lumberjacks a final of 1736 in their win. Maplewood gets the jump up to 7-6, while Todavía sees their losing skid reach six games as they hit 7-10.

Google Pitch at Union Ground, Modernistic: Princess took very little time to wrangle 550 for Tysini in an impressive opener. Juno tried to match the pace, but ended up scoring only 115 for Modernistic. Leandra added 582 for the Hummingbirds in a solid second salvo. Ms. Puppy slipped just slightly out of form for the Union, taking only 128. Charli batted 418 for Tysini as they continue to dominate. Chimpy hauled in 257 for Modernistic as the deficit gets more severe. Bright tapped 199 to give the Hummingbirds a final score of 1749. Puff I took 335, but the Union lost with 835. Tysini remains a top team in the league at 11-6, while Modernistic regresses to 7-9.

AT&T Oceanside Stadium, Oceanside: Struggling teams tangle to keep the week moving forward. Shadow opened with 695 for Web City, staking out a decent lead. Snuggle got 324 back for Oceanside in an acceptable response. Rainmane got locked in and slugged 1181 for the Spiders, solidifying their lead. Bells lacked pace on her turn, and ended up producing only 28 for the Waves. Sugar's offering for Web City ended at 102 after a series of odd bounces did her in. Alyssa fired back with 495 for Oceanside, putting a small dent in the deficit they face. Shiny's 164 put the Spiders at 2142 total, likely in line for a win. Pounce's 319 did not do enough for the Waves, and they suffered defeat at 1166. Web City continues an upward trajectory to 5-9, just a game behind the 6-8 Oceanside squad.

Honda Driftwood Coliseum, Pearl: Two vastly improved teams meet up for the first time this season. Jasmine took 595 for Freedom in a strong performance to establish an initial lead. Watermelon pummeled 856 to put Pearl in front, making the most of an optional replay opportunity after a technical error brought her down at first. Stinky covered the deficit with 353 for the Cascades, giving them a narrow lead. Neopolitan fired back with 597 for the Surfers, re-upping the lead successfully. Roxy responded with 745 for Freedom, giving them another fighting chance in the game. Wings restored a lead for Pearl by posting 458, but the high-scoring meeting will come down to the final players. Nikolai shanked 51 for the Cascades, and they lost with 1744. Cowzart swatted 317 for the Surfers to cap the win against his former team at 2228. Pearl surges to 13-4, while Freedom slides to 10-9.

Ebay Center, Queens: The Flames hope home-field advantage can hold off the league-leading Eagles. Goldy grabbed 425 for Everton to lead things off. Kayla pulled in just 199 for the Flames, as they fall farther behind. Cleo hit 320 for Everton, but she got stopped after trying to be too tricky with her bat work. Queens continued to lack any urgency in the attack, with Max scoring a pathetic 105. Blizzard knocked another 295 to give the Eagles a final of 1631. Paige's 64 put the Flames at a weak 476 total in the loss. Everton remains the gold standard so far, with a record of 16-2, while Queens is at 4-12 after a fifth straight loss.

Kraft Crowns Park, Royal: The Cascades remain in travel-mode as they look to fix their current plight. Jasmine pieced together a middling 256 for Freedom, giving them a workable start.
