Tournament XI Qualifiers - Day 16

Here we go for another day as we get closer to the qualifying midpoint. First up today...

Capital City Sharpshooters veteran Sprinkles plays 10-ball with the silver cue. Sprinkles did fairly well with no errors in her 16 shots to complete the game. Terrace City Knights captain Kiwi goes 2nd today, using the purple cue in 12-ball. Kiwi was very sharp in this game, taking only 17 shots with no errors. Commerce Tradewinds newcomer Bear also plays 12-ball, but he uses the blue cue. Bear took a scratch on the break for his lone error, then worked his way to 21 shots to end the game. Pearl Surfers co-captain Watermelon draws in for 10-ball with the purple cue. Watermelon had bad luck early, but kept it clean with no errors in 18 shots. Rounding out the group, Oceanside Waves newcomer Patches shoots 9-ball with the purple cue. Patches had a couple errors for scratches, but she made a 6-9 combination to the top left to end at 11 shots. 

Pacific Volcanoes captain Starlight leads the second group with the red cue in 13-ball. Starlight had little success, with bad positioning and three errors pushing her to 27 shots. More 13-ball is on the way for Boston Swifts star Gradley, who shoots with the silver cue. Gradley was much better, taking one error for illegal contact but still finishing at 21 shots. Infinity Torpedoes captain Smudge is next with the blue cue in hand for 12-ball. Smudge had a good start despite a scratch on the break as her lone error. Smudge was slow at the end, but finished on 21 shots. Lighton Prestige star Spirit goes 9th today, using the silver cue for 13-ball. Spirit handled things well with one error in 21 shots for a positive performance. Midland Predators captain Shawn closes the group with the blue cue in 10-ball. Shawn had one error for a scratch, but closed the effort in a crisp 12 shots. 

The blue cue remains in action in 10-ball with the Terrace City Knights' Melissa. A quick start saw her finish with 4 shots and no errors, deflecting off the 5 to sink the 10 at the bottom left. Web City Spiders veteran Waluigi activates the green cue for his 10-ball turn. Waluigi made a pair on the break and used a 6-10 combination at the top left to end with 6 shots and no errors. Queens Flames veteran Pauline goes 13th today with the blue cue in 12-ball. Pauline posted 23 shots and no errors in her game, navigating tricky positioning fairly well but slowly. Boston Swifts newcomer Sydney S. goes next with the silver cue in 13-ball. Sydney S. did well as play resumed after a suspension on Tuesday. She converted the rack in 23 shots with no errors. The set ends with Terrace City Knights veteran Jennifer playing 10-ball with the green cue. A painfully sloppy appearance saw Jennifer rack up five error and still finish with 18 shots. 

Group four is underway with Archtown Arrows captain Sally shooting 13-ball with the blue cue. Sally was strong from the start, although she took one error before finishing with 20 shots. Zenith Skywatchers veteran Bells brings the green cue back for 9-ball. Bells was too slow early and late, taking one error among her 16 shots. Victoria Spurs veteran Sage follows with the blue cue in 12-ball. Sage was good early on, but an overfill was caught before she finished, charging her with one error and 19 shots. Southern Monarchs captain Pounce is next, playing 12-ball with the purple cue. Pounce scratched on the break, but bounced back well to make that his only error in 21 shots. Pronger Tridents captain Precious shoots Rotation with the purple cue in the 20th game of the qualifying day. Precious had a fantastic start, but lost it all after the halfway point, taking two errors and 29 shots to finish. 

The fifth group gets going as Boston Swifts veteran Ice Cream plays 12-ball with the blue cue. Ice Cream took one error for a missed contact, but ended in 20 shots. Viewpoint Sound Meteors veteran Cobalt goes next with the green cue for 10-ball. Cobalt was unimpressive with his loose shooting, taking 19 shots and three errors to finish. Next up, Stonebridge Wolves captain Juno picks up the purple cue for 10-ball. Struggles in the event appear to be league-wide, as Juno needed 20 shots with one error to corral the rack. North Modernistic Nighthawks captain Peach tries her hand at 9-ball with the red cue. Peach took an error early on but responded with a 1-5-9 combination to the bottom left to end on 3 shots. Ending the group, Whitewater Shores veteran Twinkie III plays 13-ball with the purple cue. Twinkie III suffered three errors and needed 24 shots to get the game done. 

The sixth set opens with Tysini Hummingbirds rising star Sarah shooting 12-ball with the purple cue. Sarah had no positioning in the end of her game, taking 32 shots and four errors. Royal Crowns captain Kayla is up for 12-ball with the red cue. Shooting remained loose, but Kayla only took one error in her 22 shots. Atlantic Pirates hotshot Isabella is the 28th player to shoot, using the silver cue in 10-ball. Isabella took one error for an illegally potted ball but cruised to the finish at 13 shots. More 10-ball with the silver cue sees Viewpoint Sound Meteors star Princess enter the action. Princess was savvy and safe with her plays, ending on a 3-10 combination at the top side to give herself 5 shots and no errors. Wrapping up the batch, Web City Spiders captain Jack also uses the silver cue in 10-ball. Jack struggled in this turn, taking one error and 17 shots to finish the rack. 

Batch seven starts as Everton Eagles newcomer Panda shoots 12-ball with the green cue. Panda was pretty good early on, and he navigated the ending well enough to post 22 shots with no errors. More 12-ball with the green cue is up next, as Pearl Surfers veteran Wings shoots. Wings made three balls on the break and had little trouble with the rest, ending in 13 shots with no errors. Going 33rd, Golden Pilots captain Valencia shoots 9-ball with the silver cue. Valencia struggled at times, taking one error and closing at 17 shots. Another 9-ball game follows as Harrison Specters newcomer Puff II uses the blue cue. Puff II had a strong start, but faded with later plays to score 13 shots with no errors. Maplewood Lumberjacks veteran Vladimir closes the group with the green cue in hand for 12-ball. Vladimir bet on himself in the end of the appearance, closing on 20 shots with a kick to the top side after botching his positioning earlier. He took no errors. 

The eighth group leads off with Tysini Hummingbirds newcomer Slinks playing 13-ball with the silver cue. Slinks put the 8 very close to the bottom left on the break, but survived the game with just one error and 21 shots. Apex Wonders rookie Maren goes 37th today, using the green cue in 10-ball. A solid performance saw Maren scratch on the break and finish in 15 shots with just the one error. Midland Predators rising star Kitty uses the red cue in 12-ball. Kitty had one error for missed contact, but making four balls legally on the break helped her finish in only 15 shots. Another Predator, the veteran Chicky Phil, is ready to shoot 13-ball with the purple cue. Chicky Phil took solids out first, then cruised through stripes to end on 22 shots with no errors. Modernistic Union veteran Sydney C. ends the batch with the red cue in hand for 12-ball. With no errors in 20 shots, Sydney C. put in a good performance on steady shooting. 

Group nine begins with Stonebridge Wolves strongman Hershey using the purple cue for 9-ball. Hershey didn't miss much, taking just 9 shots and no errors in the outing. Royal Crowns sophomore Sunshine is next with the red cue in 12-ball. Sunshine found his groove early on and played smart to finish with 19 shots and no errors. Apex Wonders veteran Cowzart draws in for 10-ball with the blue cue. Cowzart took an early for a scratch, but made a deflection off the 3 to put the 10 in the bottom left at 7 shots. Pacific Volcanoes newcomer Smokey keeps the blue cue active for 9-ball in today's 44th game. Smokey managed to play quickly and without errors, needing only 11 shots. At the back of the group, North Modernistic Nighthawks star Gal plays 12-ball with the red cue. Gal struck early and followed similar patterns on both suits to close at 19 shots and one error. 

The final group commences with 10-ball and the red cue for Infinity Torpedoes veteran Shelley. It was a fantastic game for Shelley, who made a ball on the break and finished at 6 shots with no errors on a 6-10 combination to the bottom left. Eastside Sharks captain Taylor M. brings the blue cue aboard for Rotation. Taylor M. took no prisoners in this outing, rallying to 21 shots with one error with aggressive play. The 48th game today is 12-ball with the green cue for Swordpoint Blades newcomer Stephanie. With one early error for illegal contact, Stephanie clamped down and finished at 20 shots with smart play. The green cue stays up as Diamond Gems captain Shadow shoots 10-ball. Shadow struggled from the start with a bad break, leading to his two errors in 21 shots. The green cue ends the day as North Modernistic Nighthawks enforcer Cheddar shoots 8-ball. Cheddar was sharp in this outing and needed only 21 shots with no errors to finish it. 

After an interruption on Tuesday, what became a split-day showing is complete. Tomorrow, we get closer to the halfway mark.

Tournament XI Qualifiers - Day 15

The third week of qualifiers begins here, with Rotation more likely to activate today. We start with...

Zenith Skywatchers veteran Paps playing 13-ball with the red cue. Paps had a decent start, but late positioning forced him up to 26 shots with no errors. Golden Pilots veteran Strut will bring Rotation to the table, using the blue cue. Strut was sharp early on, then faded later with three errors in 29 shots. Diamond Gems veteran Salmo goes 3rd today with the red cue in 12-ball. Salmo couldn't deal with the positioning he received, needing 26 shots with three errors to get through the rack. Viewpoint Sound Meteors veteran Dani uses the red cue for her 9-ball appearance. Dani didn't convert as well as she should have, but a deflection off the 5 buried the 9 to the bottom left to give her 12 shots and one error. Swordpoint Blades veteran Bandit uses the repaired green cue in 10-ball to end the group. Bandit didn't play well early on, but he got the 10 near the top side and used a deflection off the 5 to sink it on 14 shots and no errors. 

Group two opens as Infinity Torpedoes star Fuchsia uses the green cue for 10-ball. Fuchsia held her own after a rough middle, closing at 13 shots and one error with a 6-10 combination to the bottom left. Queens Flames captain Crystal follows up with the silver cue in 13-ball. Crystal was alright, but she finished slowly to put herself at 23 shots and two errors. Apex Wonders veteran Mr. Snowman goes 8th today, using the green cue for 12-ball. Mr. Snowman couldn't get positioning on his last ball, taking three errors and slipping to 25 shots for the game. Oceanside Waves sophomore Megan brings the purple cue on board for 12-ball. Megan didn't let anything get away from her, finishing on 15 shots and no errors in today's best game so far. Lighton Pretige star Citrus closes the batch with the purple cue in hand for 10-ball. Citrus had nothing special for this outing, taking 19 shots with one error. 

Lighton Prestige captain Acorn leads group three, playing 13-ball with the blue cue. Acorn had a good game despite three errors, two of which occurred with a scratch and an overfill on the break. He ended with 22 shots. Westside Rockers captain Misty also plays 13-ball, using the red cue. Misty worked her way to a solid result with 20 shots and one error, mostly keeping her play clean. Stonebridge Wolves rookie Lindsay uses the red cue for 9-ball next. Lindsay looked good with just 12 shots and no errors after a crisp start. Pearl Surfers veteran Boots keeps the red cue up for another 9-ball game. Boots took two errors and ended up at 15 shots after some of her plays didn't pan out. Oceanside Waves newcomer Daisy goes 15th today, playing 13-ball with the purple cue. Daisy looked good early, but the last ball gave her trouble at the top side, leading to a score of 25 shots with one error. 

The fourth group begins with Harrison Specters captain Twinkie II playing 13-ball with the silver cue. Twinkie II came out of nowhere for a near-perfect showing of 16 shots and no errors. Royal Crowns veteran Brownie draws in with the red cue for 10-ball. Favorable angles helped Brownie finish the rack in just 13 shots despite her one error. Queens Flames hotshot Briana steps in for Rotation with the red cue in today's 18th game. Briana had some dynamic plays, earning one double-pot and taking only two errors in her 24 shots. Up next, Whitewater Shores veteran Marsell plays 10-ball with the blue cue. Marsell put the 10 near the top left on the break and knocked it with a 1-10 combination to score 1 shot with no errors. Pronger Tridents veteran Avril finishes this group with the red cue in hand for 12-ball. Avril had a lightning-fast start with three balls on the break, then took her time late to end on 18 shots with one error. 

Batch five starts as Apex Wonders rookie Blair shoots 9-ball with the green cue. Blair couldn't corral the 3 at all, needing 21 shots to ultimately deflect off the 6 to sink the 9 at the top left, but he also took no errors. Diamond Gems strongman Leonardo is 22nd to shoot today, using the silver cue in 13-ball. Leonardo twice missed easy shots at the bottom side, pushing his score to 30 shots and three errors. Another 13-ball game goes to Victoria Spurs veteran Rosalina, who uses the blue cue. Rosalina was much cleaner with finishing in her appearance, needing only 22 shots with no errors. Pacific Volcanoes mainstay Ms. Kitty goes next with the green cue in 12-ball. Ms. Kitty kept her poise after her lone error came late, working her way to 16 shots for the game. Whitewater Shores rookie Rachel gets us to halfway today, shooting 12-ball with the silver cue. Rachel handled the pressure well, striking early and closing at 20 shots with one error. 

The 26th game of the day sees Archtown Arrows veteran Sleepy B. play 13-ball with the purple cue. Sleepy B. had some work to do with positioning, but she was good enough to finish at 22 shots and no errors. Central Warriors captain Twilight is next, shooting 10-ball with the purple cue. Even with one error for a scratch, Twilight dominated to the tune of 12 shots. Modernistic Union veteran Puff I is next with the red cue in 12-ball. Puff I scratched on the break, but ignited her offense soon after and rallied to finish on 18 shots. Victoria Spurs star Yekaterina gets her turn in Rotation with the blue cue. Yekaterina was fine through the first half of the rack, but stumbled with two errors to 31 shots in the end. Wrapping up the group, Capital City Sharpshooters captain Chris plays 12-ball with the silver cue. Chris was alright, but got his plays mixed up in the end, taking two errors to finish in 24 shots. 

The seventh set gets going with Viewpoint Sound Meteors newcomer Josie shooting 12-ball with the blue cue. Josie worked hard early on and took a couple of errors in the middle, but it helped her finish in 21 shots. Zenith Skywatchers captain Blizzard also takes a shot at 12-ball with the silver cue. Blizzard had a strong appearance in this game, taking 20 shots with no errors even with a cautious finish. The 33rd game today is also 12-ball with the silver cue, as Stonebridge Wolves sophomore Jane steps up to play. Jane cruised through her appearance in 18 shots with one error that didn't slow her down. More 12-ball is on the way with Archtown Arrows veteran Hoppy playing with the red cue. Hoppy took one error for a scratch and pushed hard at the end to close with 18 shots. Royal Crown veteran Jake closes the group with the purple cue in hand for 10-ball. Jake needed 17 shots with no errors to get through this game. 

Group eight kicks off with Swordpoint Blades captain Dreamy shooting 10-ball with the purple cue. Two errors and two missed combo opportunities pinned Dreamy at 18 shots in the end. The 37th player called today is Pronger Tridents star Spot, who has the silver cue up as he plays 10-ball. Spot made a mess of his play with late misses, adding two errors to finish in 19 shots. Web City Spiders newcomer Kodiak keeps the silver cue active for 9-ball. Kodiak started well, but slowed down after his lone error, finishing on 13 shots. Swordpoint Blades newcomer Mams goes next, using the purple cue in 12-ball. Mams held her ground quite well, taking one error but closing in 21 shots despite tough positioning. Freedom Cascades veteran Andrew rounds out the batch with the blue cue in hand for 10-ball. Andrew kept it clean with no errors in his 14 shots for a good outing. 

The 41st game today goes to Golden Pilots veteran Max, who plays 9-ball with the silver cue. Max butchered his game early with three errors on failed fancy attempts. He closed the effort in 18 shots. Apex Wonders captain Midnight also plays 9-ball with the silver cue. A favorable break led Midnight to making the 1-9 combination at the top left for 1 shot and no errors. After that, Archtown Arrows sophomore Greg pulls out the purple cue for 10-ball. Greg had a disastrous start to the appearance, taking two errors in an early skid before righting himself to 22 shots. Whitewater Shores captain Shaggy is next up, using the red cue for 12-ball. Shaggy had a very slow start but found good positioning, only for a troublesome last ball to push her up to 24 shots with one error. At the back of the group, Tysini Hummingbirds captain Leandra shoots 12-ball with the blue cue. Leandra didn't get the best positioning, but she made it work with 21 shots and no errors in the end. 

The final group commences with Zenith Skywatchers enforcer Nightfur playing 12-ball with the silver cue. Nightfur had a fantastic start, but positioning buried her later, giving her one error in 19 shots. Atlantic Pirates veteran Dusky also plays 12-ball, but she'll use the green cue. Dusky had some shakier play early on to collect two errors, but she also escaped with 19 shots. Maplewood Lumberjacks captain Diddley is in for 9-ball with the red cue. Diddley surged early and then lost control, taking one error before fading to 15 shots. Southridge Defenders newcomer Stripes is in action with the green cue in 12-ball. Stripes commanded the ball well and got herself to close at 17 shots with no errors. Her sister, Westside Rockers newcomer Snowball, ends the day with the green cue in 13-ball. Snowball spared nothing on her shots, taking no errors in 21 shots for a good finale to the day. 

Consider today a success with no blow-ups after yesterday and no apparent long-term damage on the green cue. We'll continue the middle week tomorrow.

Tournament XI Qualifiers - Day 14

We'll complete the second week of qualifying today, with a tiny chance of Rotation getting activated. Kicking things off...

Maplewood Lumberjacks veteran Summer plays 12-ball with the purple cue. Summer put in an excellent effort to finish in just 16 shots and no errors. Todavía Stills captain Easter is next for 13-ball with the green cue. Easter played with a favorable distribution early and rallied to finish at 18 shots with one error after a late scratch. The green cue stays active as Midland Predators veteran Rainmane shoots 10-ball. Rainmane struggled early on and took two errors, but her hot finish gave her 16 shots. Tysini Hummingbirds rising star Sarah will also play 10-ball, using the blue cue. Sarah had a pair of errors early in her appearance, but closed out on 17 shots. Midland Predators veteran Americus seals the group with 10-ball and the purple cue. Americus struggled, taking three errors as shots fell out of line. She needed 19 shots to finish the effort. 

The second group begins with Eastside Sharks captain Taylor M. using the red cue in 13-ball. Taylor M. was unable to navigate the 8 blocking the top right, taking six errors in total as she finished on 25 shots. Maplewood Lumberjacks veteran Vladimir draws in 7th today to play 10-ball with the green cue. Vladimir was in danger of a bad result when he double-potted a 7-10 combination to the bottom side with 7 in the bottom right for 15 shots and one error. Infinity Torpedoes sophomore Blaze is next, using the blue cue for 10-ball. Blaze was composed throughout the game, needing just 15 shots with no errors. Commerce Tradewinds star Solaris has the green cue in hand for 12-ball. Solaris took a scratch on the break for his lone error in 17 shots. At the back of the group, Queens Flames star Violetta plays 10-ball with the green cue. Violetta took one error for missed contact, but got a deflection off the 5 to sink the 10 in the bottom right for 13 shots. 

Royal Crowns rookie Kacey activates the silver cue for 12-ball. Kacey took care of business efficiently, rallying to 18 shots with no errors. Another 12-ball game sees Atlantic Pirates mainstay Steven shooting with the red cue. Steven had no trouble with his offense, taking an error for a scratch on the break before cruising to 16 shots. Diamond Gems sophomore Autumn is ready to go in 9-ball with the silver cue. A tough start stuck Autumn with one error en route to her finish on 15 shots. Going 14th today, Boston Swifts star Gradley plays 12-ball with the silver cue. Gradley had to do extensive positioning work to finish at 22 shots, surprisingly taking just one error. The Swifts' captain Sweetheart closes the group, also using the silver cue for 12-ball. Sweetheart made one of each on the break and had no trouble after that, finishing with 14 shots and no errors. 

Group four leads off with Capital City Sharpshooters rookie Kelsea playing 10-ball with the silver cue. Kelsea had poor aim early on, but banked a 2-10 combination as called to the bottom left to end with 8 shots and one error. Whitewater Shores star Katharine uses the blue cue as she appears in 8-ball. Katharine was electric from the start with three balls on the break, and she took no errors in 15 shots to clear the rack. Harrison Specters sophomore Esmeralda is ready to go in 9-ball with the green cue. Esmeralda showed command and took only one error over 11 shots in this game. Capital City Sharpshooters mainstay Missy jumps in for 10-ball with the red cue. Missy faltered with three errors and needed 17 shots to get through the rack. Tysini Hummingbirds newcomer Slinks gets the 20th game today, using the silver cue in 12-ball. Slinks was fairly strong early on and kept it up throughout the game to close at 17 shots and no errors. 

The last season debut is here, as Harrison Specters rookie Bucco shoots 7-ball with the blue cue. Bucco took three errors in a sloppy start to his career, needing 11 shots to finish the event. Terrace City Knights rookie Anna is next with the silver cue in hand for 9-ball. Anna made the 9 on the break to the top right, a perfectly placed break shot giving her 0 shots and zero errors. Onto 13-ball, as Todavía Stills star Ruby plays with the purple cue. Too many botched plays led to Ruby taking two errors in 26 shots. The 24th player called today is Web City Spiders veteran Nibbles, who plays 9-ball with the red cue. Nibbles had a couple of errors in the middle, but settled in to score 15 shots. Closing the batch, Central Warriors star Dustin shoots 13-ball with the green cue. Dustin will want all of this one back, as he took seven errors among 39 shots with nothing working in his favor. 

Set six sees the green cue right back in action with Royal Crowns captain Kayla in 10-ball. Kayla did relatively well despite taking three errors, ending her turn in 17 shots. Southern Monarchs veteran Dominic also uses the green cue in his 9-ball appearance. Dominic needed only 7 shots to convert a 5-9 combination at the bottom side, and he took no errors in the game. The 28th game today sees Pacific Volcanoes veteran Twinkie I using the blue cue in 12-ball. Twinkie I had a good showing, taking one error for illegal contact late in the game before closing at 20 shots. Up next, Pronger Tridents captain Precious tries her hand in 13-ball with the red cue. Precious had the worst game of qualifying with 48 shots and eight errors, including illegally potting the 8. Midland Predators star Kitty steps in with the red cue to end the group in 10-ball. Kitty made three balls on the break, then unraveled a bit late but saved it at 12 shots with no errors. 

Midland Predators captain Shawn fronts group seven with the purple cue in hand for 9-ball. Shawn took two errors and needed 16 shots to finish the effort. Southridge Defenders newcomer Roxy is up for 12-ball with the blue cue. Roxy took one error for a scratch, but finished well at 20 shots. The 33rd player of the day is Commerce Tradewinds newcomer Luigi, who plays 12-ball with the green cue. Luigi continued the struggles of the league with a pair of errors and 28 shots after a strong start. Freedom Cascades rookie Blake is next, playing 9-ball with the blue cue. Blake was not very clean in her play, taking three errors and 16 shots for the game. Web City Spiders captain Jack closes the group with the blue cue in hand for 9-ball again. Jack was creative and precise with his shots, taking 13 of them with no errors. 

Group eight opens with Commerce Tradewinds captain Taylor S. playing 9-ball with the red cue. Taylor S. took two errors early on but surged late to finish at 14 shots. Everton Eagles newcomer Panda goes 37th today, using the blue cue for 10-ball. Panda fell apart in the middle of this one, ending up at 26 shots despite taking only one error. Victoria Spurs captain Spice also plays 10-ball, using the purple cue. Spice finished quickly, with her hard shot on the 2 to the bottom left also collecting the 10 at the top left to end at 2 shots and no errors. Golden Pilots star Dusty is next with the green cue in 12-ball. Dusty couldn't lock things down at the end, slipping to 25 shots with three errors. Atlantic Pirates sophomore Buddy will end the group with the green cue in hand for 12-ball as well. Buddy fared better, working around the table in 19 shots and no errors. 

The ninth group sees another Reality member, the Tysini Hummingbirds' Sugar, play 12-ball with the silver cue. Sugar also had a fairly good game, needing only 19 shots with no errors to complete the effort. Pronger Tridents veteran Potter keeps the silver cue active in 9-ball. Potter started well, but took it slow at the end to finish on 14 shots and no errors. Atlantic Pirates hotshot Isabella draws in for 9-ball with the green cue. Isabella took a pair of errors, but she clutched up and finished with 14 shots. Her cousin, Oceanside Waves captain Celestia, is next up with the red cue in hand for 10-ball. Celestia suffered one error, but her pinpoint shooting gave her 14 shots for the game. The 45th player to shoot today is Terrace City Knights captain Kiwi, who uses the purple cue for 10-ball. Kiwi smashed her way to a great score, with a double-pot of the 4 to the bottom side and the 10 to the bottom left giving her 4 shots and no errors. 

The final group starts with Todavía Stills veteran Pedey playing 12-ball with the blue cue. Pedey had his hands full with the top side at the end, but he took only one error in 20 shots for the game. The 48th game today sees Central Warriors newcomer Klaus shoot 10-ball with the red cue. Klaus was pretty strong with one error and 14 shots in the appearance. Whitewater Shores mainstay Twinkie III is next, using the blue cue for 12-ball. Twinkie III narrowly avoided errors but needed a slightly poor 23 shots to get through the game. Commerce Tradewinds rising star Rosemary gets the finale today, playing 8-ball with the purple cue. Rosemary didn't mess around, making three balls on the break and clearing the table in 17 shots with no errors. 

A wild day could see some long-term fallout. The UPCL Disciplinary Board is considering a punishment for Dustin after his actions today led to possible damage to the green cue. A verdict will be rendered at the conclusion of 13-ball qualifiers.

Tournament XI Qualifiers - Day 13

It's lucky number 13 for qualifying today, with a better chance of seeing 13-ball played. Leading off...

Golden Pilots veteran Sparkles plays 12-ball with the green cue. Sparkles was good early on, but faltered later with her positioning just a touch off. She ended with 25 shots and no errors. Tysini Hummingbirds captain Leandra draws in for 10-ball with the green cue. Leandra kept it clean with no errors, but still needed 19 shots after a slow finish. Pearl Surfers veteran Bright gets the 3rd game today, using the blue cue for 12-ball. Bright had a good start despite weird positioning, but he took one error and needed 22 shots in the end. Web City Spiders newcomer Wild Thing keeps the blue cue up for 12-ball. Wild Thing looked alright early on, but he wasted good positioning and spiraled to 26 shots and two errors. Pacific Volcanoes captain Starlight ends the group with the red cue in 12-ball. Starlight was strong with 22 shots and four errors in her appearance, although she wasn't immune from the late fade. 

Group two gets going as Infinity Torpedoes veteran Shelley plays 9-ball with the red cue. Shelley posted one early error for illegal contact before closing on 12 shots. Whitewater Shores captain Shaggy is next with the blue cue in 10-ball. Shaggy brought her best, finishing a 4-10 combination to the bottom left to end on 8 shots with no errors. Following that, Archtown Arrows sophomore Greg uses the red cue in 9-ball. Greg took one error early on but closed the rack in 13 shots. Oceanside Waves newcomer Daisy is 9th to shoot today, using the silver cue for 12-ball. Daisy played very cautiously and used soft touches most of the time, but worked her way to 18 shots with no errors. Zenith Skywatchers enforcer Nightfur closes the set with the blue cue in hand for 10-ball. Nightfur took one error on missed contact but still closed at 12 shots after dominating with precision. 

The third group leads off with Victoria Spurs veteran Sage also using the blue cue for 10-ball. Sage had three errors in her game, but still finished in 16 shots. Oceanside Waves sophomore Megan goes next in 10-ball with the purple cue. Megan had no errors and needed only 14 shots to complete the effort. Todavía Stills star Sierra steps in with the blue cue for a 12-ball qualifier. Sierra struggled with positioning early on, causing her to need 25 shots with one error to finish it. Everton Eagles veteran Cleo is next up with the silver cue in 10-ball. Cleo pulled off a deflection from the 5 to sink the 10 to the bottom left for 10 shots and no errors. Viewpoint Sound Meteors star Princess goes 15th with the red cue in 9-ball. Princess had a rough start, but a 4-5-9 combination to the bottom left bailed her out at 11 shots and no errors. 

Group four is underway as Golden Pilots veteran Strut shoots 13-ball with the blue cue. Strut's positioning was sloppy at the end, leading to three errors in 28 shots. Queens Flames captain Crystal grabs the purple cue for 12-ball. Crystal took her time and approached things with patience to post 22 shots and no errors. Harrison Specters newcomer Snuggle goes next, picking up the silver cue for 10-ball. A bad break could have been doom for Snuggle, but he made three combos initiated on the 2, and closed with just one error in a reasonable 16 shots. Zenith Skywatchers captain Blizzard is to play 10-ball with the red cue. A couple of errors weighed Blizzard down to 17 shots for the game. At the back, Commerce Tradewinds newcomer Bear does 10-ball with the purple cue. Bear wasn't doing well, but a shot on the 2 that deflected in the 6 at the top left also collected the 10 to the bottom left to give him 11 shots and two errors in the game. 

The 21st player called today is Freedom Cascades star Nikolai, who plays 9-ball with the red cue. Nikolai looked great, taking unconventional methods to close in 11 shots with no errors. Maplewood Lumberjacks captain Diddley is next with the blue cue up for 8-ball. Diddley displayed calm and controlled play with 18 shots and no errors in a good game. Swordpoint Blades newcomer Mams has the green cue in hand for 10-ball. Mams had a couple of early errors in the mix, but finished well at 16 shots. Archtown Arrows veteran Sleepy B. keeps the green cue active in 12-ball. Sleepy B. kept things clean over 18 shots, taking no errors in a smooth outing. Ending the batch, Pronger Tridents star Spot uses the red cue in 9-ball. Spot had one error for illegal contact early on, then finished in 13 shots. 

The sixth bunch begins with Apex Wonders veteran Cowzart using the purple cue in 9-ball. Cowzart took a couple of unnecessary errors, but it didn't stop him from scoring 11 shots. Southern Monarchs sophomore Molly is next up, playing 12-ball with the silver cue. Molly had some struggles with two errors in the middle, but she finished well with 21 shots. The 28th game today goes to Terrace City Knights star Melissa, who plays 9-ball with the red cue. Melissa had a couple of set-up shots and one error that pushed her score to 15 shots. Next up, Victoria Spurs star Yekaterina plays 13-ball with the purple cue. Yekaterina kept things simple in this one, taking 23 shots with no errors to escape cleanly. Wrapping up the group, Capital City Sharpshooters rookie Ellie plays 10-ball with the red cue. Ellie was sneaky good in this game, taking only 3 shots with no errors as a deflection off the 2 sank the 10 at the top left. 

Set seven opens as Westside Rockers veteran Chimpy plays 10-ball with the silver cue. Chimpy had one error early on but made up for it by surging late to close on 17 shots. Pearl Surfers veteran Boots is next with the purple cue in hand for 8-ball. Boots posted 22 shots and one error in her appearance, a fairly average showing. Another 8-ball game goes to the North Modernistic Nighthawks' Peach, who uses the blue cue. Peach wasn't very good, taking three errors and lazily allowing her score to inflate to 27 shots. The 34th player of the day is Stonebridge Wolves newcomer Dewey, who has the red cue up for 10-ball. Dewey took one error for a scratch, but closed the effort in 14 shots. Rounding out the group, Lighton Prestige captain Acorn uses the purple cue in 12-ball. Acorn put together a good game with 21 shots and no errors, using patience as the key to his success. 

The eighth group starts with Southern Monarchs captain Pounce shooting 10-ball with the green cue. Pounce had a decent start, but made it better with a 4-10 combination to the bottom left to end on 7 shots and one error. More 10-ball is on the way as Puff I of the Modernistic Union uses the red cue in today's 37th game. Puff I struggled at times with positioning and ended her game with 17 shots and no errors. Continuing in 10-ball, North Modernistic Nighthawks veteran Gizmo plays with the purple cue. Gizmo took one error early, but made a 5-10 combination to the top left with the 5 going to the bottom right on a double-pot to end with 12 shots. Westside Rockers newcomer Snowball is next with the green cue in 12-ball. Snowball was solid, although a couple of unfortunate errors put her at 21 shots by the end of the game. Pronger Tridents veteran Avril keeps the green cue active for 10-ball. Avril did well despite a pair of errors, closing the effort in 14 shots. 

Group nine kicks off with Everton Eagles veteran Vincent shooting 9-ball with the red cue. Vincent was good early, but sent the cue ball off the table for his lone error. He ended up at 15 shots. North Modernistic Nighthawks star Gal goes in 10-ball with the red cue next. Gal suffered a couple of errors early on, but took control at the end to post 16 shots. Terrace City Knights veteran Oreo takes up the purple cue for 12-ball. Oreo kept total control throughout the game, closing in only 16 shots with no errors. The 44th game of the day is 10-ball with the blue cue for Apex Wonders veteran Mr. Snowman. He was solid with a ball on the break and only one error in 14 shots. Victoria Spurs veteran Rosalina seals the group with the blue cue in 12-ball. Rosalina struggled with three errors and 28 shots in her appearance, faltering from the start with an overfill. 

The final group commences with Westside Rockers veteran Goatee shooting 9-ball with the purple cue. Goatee put the 9 close to the bottom left and later deflected a shot off the 6 to end with 10 shots and no errors. Southridge Defenders veteran Wario jumps into action with the blue cue in 10-ball. Wario's command on scoring plays was shaky, leading to three errors in 22 shots. The 48th game of the day is 10-ball with the silver cue for Southern Monarchs rookie Gabby. It was a solid effort for Gabby, who took no errors in her 15 shots. Midland Predators veteran Chicky Phil brings the blue cue back for 12-ball. Chicky Phil held his own despite an early error, shutting the door at 20 shots. Zenith Skywatchers veteran Paps ends the day with the purple cue in 12-ball. Paps did well early on, then faded a bit late to 21 shots with no errors.

Queens Flames veteran Briana shoots 13-ball with the purple cue. Briana continues to fail as the first player to new events, taking 29 shots and seven errors thanks to her illegal potting of the 8 in this game. Diamond Gems veteran Debby is next for 8-ball with the silver cue. Debby looked full of control despite a slow start, ending up with only 21 shots and no errors. Web City Spiders newcomer Kodiak also plays 8-ball today, using the green cue. Kodiak took one error for illegal contact but closed confidently at 20 shots in a good game. The 4th game today is Diamond Gems captain Shadow playing 9-ball with the green cue. Shadow was electric early on and still managed to finish with 12 shots and no errors. Midland Predators captain Shawn ends the group with 8-ball and the red cue. Shawn was too fancy with his positioning, resulting in one error among 26 shots. 

The second group begins with Everton Eagles veteran Puff III shooting 9-ball with the blue cue. Puff III skidded on the 2, putting her behind at 17 shots and one error when it was over. Royal Crowns sophomore Sunshine jumps in with the red cue in 10-ball next. Sunshine was locked in, cruising to 12 shots with no errors in a great outing. Eastside Sharks captain Taylor M. is set for 12-ball with the silver cue. Taylor M. had no trouble with solids, but stripes slowed her down at times. She kept it clean to close with 21 shots. Viewpoint Sound Meteors veteran Dani is next with the purple cue in 8-ball. Dani took an error early on for a scratch, but cruised to the finish at 19 shots. Todavía Stills veteran Pedey goes 10th today with the purple cue in hand for 10-ball. With hardly any misses, Pedey stormed through the rack in only 11 shots and no errors. 

More 10-ball leads off group three as Viewpoint Sound Meteors newcomer Josie plays with the green cue. Josie was quick on attack and used a deflection off the 8 to put the 10 in the top side on 10 shots and no errors. Eastside Sharks sophomore Lily is next, using the red cue in 9-ball. Lily made a pair on the break but tried too many trick plays, ending up with 14 shots and no errors for her trouble. Boston Swifts newcomer Sydney S. plays 12-ball with the blue cue. Sydney S. was excellent early on but botched her positioning later, pushing her to 21 shots with one error. Tysini Hummingbirds star Charli is ready to go in 10-ball with the red cue. Charli surged early, but her lone error slowed her down in the end to 17 shots for the game. Westside Rockers captain closes the batch with the red cue in hand for 12-ball. Misty took three errors during her game, but still finished in a solid 20 shots. 

The 16th player called today is Pearl Surfers veteran Wings, who shoots 10-ball with the silver cue. Wings put the 10 near the bottom left on the break, but fumbled his early finish attempts and closed with 16 shots and no errors. Tysini Hummingbirds rising star Sarah brings the red cue back for 9-ball. Sarah got buried when the 3 wouldn't line up for her, resulting in two errors and 18 shots for the game. Whitewater Shores rookie Rachel follows up with the purple cue for 10-ball. Rachel took one error and lacked efficiency this time, needing 19 shots to finish. The purple cue remains in action with Central Warriors star Noelle playing 9-ball. Noelle took a cautious approach at times, but one error and some misplays led to her scoring 15 shots. Finishing the group, Harrison Specters newcomer Puff II uses the purple cue for 8-ball. Puff II struggled late in her appearance, with one error to push her up to 23 shots. 

The fifth group kicks off with Commerce Tradewinds star Solaris shooting 10-ball with the green cue. Solaris managed 18 shots and no errors despite a rough start to the game. More 10-ball is on the way with Stonebridge Wolves sophomore Jane using the purple cue. Jane scratched on the break for her lone error and finished with 17 shots after a decent early stretch. Tysini Hummingbirds newcomer Slinks steps in for 10-ball with the red cue next. Slinks struggled immediately with a scratch on the break as one of four errors. She needed 21 shots to escape the outing. Going 24th today, Whitewater Shores veteran Twinkie III plays 10-ball with the silver cue. Twinkie III took a triple error for illegal contact, a scratch and an illegally potted ball on the same play, but it set her up to end on 8 shots with a 3-10 combination at the bottom left. Central Warriors star Dustin wraps up the group with the purple cue in 12-ball. Dustin did well to untangle the rack in 18 shots with no errors. 

Set six is underway as Harrison Specters captain Twinkie II plays 12-ball with the blue cue. Twinkie II blitzed the table early and kept good enough positioning to end on 17 shots and no errors. Web City Spiders captain Jack draws in with the purple cue for 8-ball. A good start was overshadowed by Jack illegally potting the 8, giving him six errors in 22 shots. The 28th player drawn is Swordpoint Blades veteran Stealth, who also plays 8-ball but with the silver cue. Stealth butchered this appearance, taking no errors in 28 shots as his early positioning yielded almost nothing. Continuing along, Tysini Hummingbirds star Sugar plays 10-ball with the red cue. Sugar was sloppy with three errors as her shots didn't go to plan, but she ended at 17 shots. Royal Crowns captain Kayla rounds out this batch with the silver cue in 9-ball. Kayla scratched on the break and struggled after that, ending with 17 shots and two errors after a slow start. 

Group seven opens with Archtown Arrows newcomer Cubby playing 12-ball with the purple cue. Cubby butchered his play this time, taking three errors before ending on 24 shots. Freedom Cascades rookie Blake is ready for 8-ball with the purple cue. Blake rattled off only 18 shots with one error in this appearance, closing the turn very well. The 33rd game of the day is 12-ball with the blue cue for Diamond Gems strongman Leonardo. Many obstructions and partially blocked angles pushed Leonardo to 25 shots and four errors for this game. More 12-ball follows as Pronger Tridents captain Precious shoots with the purple cue. Precious showed all of her best skills with no errors and expert control over 15 shots. Zenith Skywatchers sophomore Omari ends the set with the green cue in 8-ball. Omari spent too much time early on trying to create runs that weren't there, ending up with one error in 24 shots. 

The eighth group starts as Southridge Defenders rookie Ingrid shoots 9-ball with the purple cue. Ingrid showed good control despite one error in the game, finishing on 11 shots. The 37th player today is another Defender, the newcomer Roxy, who plays 10-ball with the blue cue. Roxy came out with hard shots and generated a lot of offense as well as two errors before closing on 15 shots. Back in 9-ball, Everton Eagles newcomer Panda plays with the green cue. Panda somehow avoided errors and finished early with a 3-9 combination to the bottom left to score 5 shots. Web City Spiders veteran Nibbles follows that with the red cue in 8-ball. Nibbles surged in the middle of his game to produce a score of 20 shots with no errors. Atlantic Pirates sophomore Buddy is at the back of the group to play 10-ball with the green cue. Buddy had a couple of bad plays that led to three errors, inflating his score to 20 shots. 

Another Pirate fronts group nine, as Steven plays 10-ball with the purple cue. Steven was highly efficient, making smart calls and ending with 12 shots and one error. Whitewater Shores star Katharine makes her long-awaited season debut next with the silver cue in 7-ball. Katharine looked unprepared, whiffing on many shots and ending up with 13 shots and no errors. Central Warriors captain Twilight keeps the silver cue active for 9-ball. Twilight took too much time to set up her plays, ending with 17 shots and no errors. The silver cue goes again in 12-ball with Todavía Stills captain Easter. Despite taking three errors, Easter finished relatively fast with 18 shots. The 45th game of the day goes to Pacific Volcanoes newcomer Smokey, who plays 8-ball with the red cue. Smokey needed 24 shots with one error to get through the game, faltering slightly near the end. 

The final group commences with Boston Swifts newcomer Tigerette shooting 9-ball with the purple cue. Tigerette solved the riddle that eluded over half the league before her, getting the 9 down at the bottom left on the break for 0 shots and zero errors. Frosty follows with her season debut for the Freedom Cascades, keeping the purple cue active in 7-ball. Frosty had no errors in her performance, but needed 11 shots to get to the end. Going 48th today, Terrace City Knights rookie Anna plays 8-ball with the red cue. Anna had a promising start, but took an error and fell apart in the end at 23 shots. Victoria Spurs captain Spice draws in for 9-ball with the silver cue. Spice wished she hadn't played, with a slow start and two errors pinning her to 19 shots. Queens Flames veteran Mario ends the day in 12-ball with the purple cue. Mario shut things down in 18 shots and no errors for a good finale today.

Boston Swifts star Gradley playing 10-ball with the purple cue. Gradley had a decent start with the 10 going on the break to be respotted. He took some chances early, but it backfired to a score of 19 shots and two errors. Southern Monarchs sophomore Molly jumps in to 10-ball with the blue cue. Molly's break wasn't as good, but she closed with 15 shots and one error on better shooting. Modernistic Union sophomore Maggie draws in for 8-ball with the red cue. Maggie had to play through jamming her base hand on the table, but she did well to finish in 18 shots and no errors and will appreciate a day off to recover. Westside Rockers newcomer Snowball goes next, playing 10-ball with the purple cue. Snowball had a lackluster break that left things congested near the spot. She navigated well despite taking three errors, with a 7-10 combination to the bottom left putting her at 13 shots. Modernistic Union veteran Puff I keeps the purple cue up for 9-ball. Puff I had plenty of confidence in her game, needing only 12 shots with no errors to finish it. 

The second group leads off with Capital City Sharpshooters captain Chris playing 10-ball with the blue cue. Chris had a great start with a pair on the break, but he took two errors and slowly finished on 16 shots. Diamond Gems veteran Salmo draws in for 10-ball with the red cue next. Salmo had a good start but was unimpressive on the 4, slowing him down to 19 shots with no errors. Todavía Stills star Ruby goes 8th today, playing 12-ball with the blue cue. Two errors were the only things holding Ruby back in this game, as she still finished with 16 shots. Pronger Tridents veteran Prism is next with the green cue in 9-ball. Prism started fine but quickly fell apart to 19 shots and no errors as positioning evaded her. Archtown Arrows captain Sally closes the batch with the green cue in 10-ball. It could be a long day with the green cue, as Sally took two errors and 24 shots as she couldn't get any positioning to go in her favor until the end. 

Southern Monarchs rookie Gabby brings us out of the lunch break with the green cue in hand for 9-ball. The green cue's curse continued as Gabby collected four errors in her 19 shots. Midland Predators rising star Kitty goes 12th today, using the blue cue for 9-ball. Kitty struggled too much early on, with her strong finish as damage control at 17 shots and no errors. Archtown Arrows veteran Hoppy goes next with the silver cue in 10-ball. Hoppy made it quick with a pair on the break and a scratch. She followed up with a 2-10 combination soon after to end with 3 shots and one error. Midland Predators veteran Americus plays 9-ball with the blue cue next. Americus had an error for illegal contact and slower play didn't help late as she finished on 15 shots. Zenith Skywatchers enforcer Nightfur picks up the green cue for 9-ball to end the set. Nightfur made some improvements with a ball on the break, but rattled shots persisted and she ended on 14 shots with one error. 

Group four begins with Southern Monarchs veteran Dominic shooting 8-ball with the purple cue. Dominic started a little slow but made up for it with a good surge at the end to close on 20 shots and no errors. Central Warriors star Graham goes next with the red cue in 10-ball. Graham looked good from the start with a ball on the break, and needed only 13 shots without an error. Victoria Spurs veteran Strawberry has the silver cue in hand for 9-ball. Strawberry was resilient through a tough start, taking only one error en route to a score of 13 shots. Royal Crowns veteran Jake goes 19th today with the red cue in 9-ball. Jake took a frustrating pair of errors and ended up with 18 shots as everything worked against him. More 9-ball sees Apex Wonders veteran Mr. Snowman step in with the blue cue. Mr. Snowman made things tougher than they needed to be, taking one error and nearly another despite finishing with a crisp 9 shots. 

The fifth batch sees Web City Spiders newcomer Wild Thing at the front with the purple cue in hand for 10-ball. Wild Thing pushed the 10 to the bottom left early but had to take some time to finish the effort with an 8-10 bank combination for 15 shots and no errors. Back in 9-ball, Oceanside Waves captain Celestia uses the green cue. Celestia had a tough distribution early on, but an intentional rattle of the 4 pushed the 9 to the top left to give her 9 shots and one error for the game. Victoria Spurs veteran Rosalina is next for 10-ball with the red cue. Rosalina was decent despite bad positioning, taking no errors in her 18 shots. Zenith Skywatchers veteran Paps steps in for 10-ball with the silver cue. Paps scratched on the break and didn't get much positioning help later, but still finished in 15 shots. The 25th game of the day is 9-ball with the blue cue for Web City Spiders veteran Waluigi. A few too many fancy plays ran up his score, as Waluigi finished the game with 15 shots and no errors. 

The sixth set opens with Infinity Torpedoes captain Smudge using the red cue for 10-ball. Smudge had a good start and kept a steady hand to finish on 15 shots with no errors. Stonebridge Wolves rookie Lindsay has the silver cue in hand to play 8-ball. Lindsay had three errors during this outing, playing too sloppy early on and paying for it at 25 shots. Swordpoint Blades newcomer Mams keeps the silver cue active in today's 28th game, playing 9-ball. Mams made a pair on the break and cruised to 9 shots and no errors in a good game. After that, Golden Pilots veteran Strut shoots 12-ball with the silver cue. Strut was pretty good, taking a couple of errors but finishing at 22 shots. Atlantic Pirates captain Delila finishes the group with the green cue in 10-ball. Delila held her own despite two errors, avoiding a collapse to close at 16 shots. 

Group seven gets going with Midland Predators veteran Rainmane using the green cue in 9-ball. Rainmane found herself in a lot of no-win situations and took two errors among 18 shots for a poor result. Lighton Prestige star Spirit is up for 12-ball with the blue cue next. Spirit had a couple of errors due to positioning issues, but a slow finish drove her up to 21 shots. Southern Monarchs captain Pounce is today's 33rd player, and he uses the green cue in 9-ball. Pounce went with a forceful approach, taking two errors in 11 shots in a quick appearance. Westside Rockers veteran Goatee is up for 8-ball with the silver cue. Goatee kept things clean and cleared the table in only 19 shots. Rounding out the group, Commerce Tradewinds newcomer Bear shoots 9-ball with the blue cue. Bear had a mediocre break that led to him taking two errors before closing with 15 shots. 

The eighth group starts as Victoria Spurs star Yekaterina plays 12-ball with the red cue. Yekaterina wasn't quite merciless, but she was efficient after a scratch on the break and ended with 20 shots. Harrison Specters newcomer Snuggle goes 37th today with the purple cue in 9-ball. Snuggle was pretty good outside of an early scratch, ending the game with 13 shots. Terrace City Knights veteran Oreo is ready to go in 10-ball with the red cue. Oreo was strong early on and got a 6-10 bank combination to fall at the top side to end her turn in 8 shots with no errors. More 10-ball is on the way with Maplewood Lumberjacks sophomore Marissa playing 10-ball with the silver cue. Marissa had one error for missed contract early, but smoothly finished with 15 shots. Eastside Sharks newcomer Rudolph wraps up the group with the blue cue in 10-ball. Rudolph had to adjust his expectations in the middle of the game after taking two errors, and he quickly corralled the 4-10 combination to the bottom left to end at 13 shots. 

Another Shark kicks off group nine, as the sophomore Toki plays 9-ball with the silver cue. Toki was a little sloppy early on, but he was able to deflect off the 3 to sink the 9 at the bottom right for 8 shots and no errors. North Modernistic Nighthawks star Gal also plays 9-ball with the blue cue. An early scratch and a late missed contact gave Gal two errors that pushed her brutally up to 15 shots. Next up, Boston Swifts veteran Ice Cream uses the silver cue for 10-ball. Ice Cream lost her way with too many set-up plays, requiring 19 shots with one error to finish. The 44th game of the day belongs to Golden Pilots veteran Sparkles, who uses the blue cue in 10-ball. Sparkles had a couple of errors that slowed her down to 17 shots for the game. At the back of the group, Zenith Skywatchers captain Blizzard uses the silver cue in 9-ball. Blizzard had the best game of the day, never missing a shot despite some difficult positions to play from. She finished with a 5-9 combination to the top left for 5 shots with no errors. 

The final group gets underway as Pacific Volcanoes veteran Twinkie I shoots 10-ball with the blue cue. Twinkie I completely lost control at the end, taking 23 shots and two errors in the appearance. Maplewood Lumberjacks veteran Vladimir is on 9-ball with the green cue. Vladimir finished at 5 shots and no errors with a double-pot of the 4 to the bottom side and the 9 to the bottom right. Following that, Stonebridge Wolves newcomer Dewey shoots 9-ball with the blue cue. Dewey didn't get many favorable looks, needing 19 shots with one error to escape. Pacific Volcanoes captain Starlight draws in with the silver cue for 10-ball. Caution got Starlight nowhere, as she avoided errors and still ended up with 18 shots. Tysini Hummingbirds captain Leandra ends the day with the red cue in 9-ball. Leandra scratched on the break but never slowed down, taking just 9 shots with her one error.

Tournament XI Qualifiers - Day 10

We're into double digit days of qualifying. Today also marks the first day of 12-ball eligibility, but expect the focus to remain on 9-ball and 10-ball. Going first...

Harrison Specters captain Twinkie II shoots 10-ball with the purple cue. Twinkie II had a very loose start after a bad break, taking three errors in 18 shots. Stonebridge Wolves strongman Hershey plays 8-ball with the blue cue next. Hershey was solid in this effort with 21 shots and one error, overcoming a slow start. Midland Predators veteran Chicky Phil keeps the blue cue active in 10-ball. Chicky Phil had a tough time keeping things clean with four errors among 20 shots in what's already shaping up to be an ugly day around the league. Capital City Sharpshooters rookie Kelsea goes next with the red cue in 9-ball. Kelsea rarely missed in this one, taking no errors and finishing at 8 shots by double-potting the 7 and 9 to the left corners. More 9-ball with the red cue closes the group as Terrace City Knights veteran Jennifer plays. Jennifer didn't find the same success, needing two errors and 21 shots as she pushed most of her attempts wide. 

Golden Pilots star Dusty fronts group two with the silver cue in 10-ball. Dusty was pretty good outside of her two scratches, finishing in 16 shots. Tysini Hummingbirds newcomer Slinks takes up the red cue for her 9-ball qualifier. Slinks did a great job of attacking aggressively and ended up with 10 shots and no errors for her effort. Archtown Arrows sophomore Greg gets the eighth game today, using the silver cue in 8-ball. Greg did take one error early in his game, but he closed well at 19 shots. Terrace City Knights captain Kiwi is up with the blue cue in 9-ball. Kiwi wasn't sharp enough early on, taking one error before stepping up the pace to end with 17 shots. Southern Monarchs newcomer Lorde ends the group with the purple cue in 9-ball. Lorde did well in this appearance, taking only 9 shots with no errors. 

Group three is underway as Queens Flames veteran Pauline uses the blue cue for 10-ball. Pauline took one error early on for missed contact, but got a deflection off the 7 to sink the 10 in the bottom right at 12 shots. Pearl Surfers co-captain Neopolitan also uses the blue cue in 10-ball. Bad positioning ruined Neopolitan early on, as she took two errors and skidded to 19 shots. Lighton Prestige sophomore Angelica activates the green cue in 8-ball. Angelica started and ended well, but was weak in the middle, leading to 19 shots and one error. Southridge Defenders newcomer Stripes is ready to go in 10-ball with the silver cue. Stripes took two errors early on in an impossible situation, but buckled down to finish on 14 shots. Today's 15th game is 9-ball with the red cue for Infinity Torpedoes sophomore Blaze. A couple of double-pots covered Blaze's misses as he ended with 9 shots and no errors. 

The fourth group begins as Pearl Surfers veteran Bright uses the purple cue for 10-ball. Bright showed off his brains, setting up and converting the 4-10 combination to the top left to end with 11 shots and one error after a bad start. Swordpoint Blades newcomer Stephanie also plays 10-ball, using the green cue. Stephanie was savvy with deflections off the 4 to collect the 7 and the 10 in the left corners, ending on 9 shots and no errors. Todavía Stills newcomer Hughbert goes 18th today, taking the purple cue for 9-ball. Hughbert struggled early on with two errors, but closed well at 15 shots. Westside Rockers veteran Chimpy is next, using the green cue for 9-ball. Chimpy played remarkably cautious, taking one error in 14 shots for his troubles. Ending the batch, Diamond Gems veteran Leonardo plays 10-ball with the green cue. Leonardo made a mess of things with two errors and a lot of positioning plays. He needed 20 shots to complete the game. 

The fifth batch leads off with Tysini Hummingbirds young star Sarah using the purple cue in 8-ball. Sarah looked every part of a superstar with just 15 shots and no errors to her name. North Modernistic Nighthawks veteran Lionel keeps the purple cue active for 9-ball. Lionel didn't get clear looks and ended up with 16 shots and two errors. Royal Crowns sophomore Sunshine will try to tame the purple cue in 9-ball. That was mission accomplished, as Sunshine needed only 10 shots with no errors to finish. The 24th player today is Apex Wonders rookie Maren, who shoots 9-ball with the red cue. Maren didn't have a good start, and she ended up with 16 shots and one error by the end. At the halfway mark today, Freedom Cascades veteran Andrew shoots 9-ball with the blue cue. Andrew did reasonably well for tough positioning, ending in 14 shots with no errors. 

Set six gets going when Swordpoint Blades captain Dreamy plays 9-ball with the silver cue. Dreamy had a good turn, taking one early error for illegal contact before storming to the finish at 11 shots. Commerce Tradewinds newcomer Luigi goes next, using the green cue for 10-ball. Luigi had a strong start, took one error for a scratch, and deposited a 9-10 combination to top left to close with 11 shots. The 28th game of the day goes to Everton Eagles newcomer Panda, who shoots 8-ball with the silver cue. Panda was relentlessly brilliant in this appearance, taking no errors in a mere 15 shots. Southridge Defenders captain Bianca follows that with 9-ball and the green cue. Bianca kept things clean with 11 shots and no errors in this outing. Victoria Spurs captain Spice wraps up the group with the purple cue in 8-ball. Spice smashed through the rack in only 18 shots with no errors for a good second game. 

The seventh set opens with Modernistic Union veteran Sydney C. shooting 10-ball with the green cue. Sydney C. cruised through the start but lost control late to finish on 17 shots and one error. Westside Rockers rookie Carly goes 32nd today, with the blue cue in hand for 10-ball. Carly rattled the 2 on one shot, then used it for a 2-10 combination at the top left to end in 3 shots with no errors. More 10-ball follows with Freedom Cascades captain Stinky playing the event with the purple cue. Stinky had no trouble striking early, and while he had one error, he still finished in 13 shots. Commerce Tradewinds star Solaris steps in for 9-ball with the green cue. Solaris had a good break and just played simple, completing a 4-9 combination to the top left at the end to close with 6 shots and no errors. Ending the group, Queens Flames veteran Briana brings 12-ball to life with the red cue. Briana struggled early on, with every shot fading wide. She took two errors and then closed with 29 shots. 

Group eight starts with Boston Swifts newcomer Sydney S. playing 10-ball with the blue cue. Sydney S. had a rough start, taking her lone error before finishing strong at 16 shots. Going 37th today, Tysini Hummingbirds star Charli uses the purple cue for 9-ball. Charli struck early and often, needing just 10 shots with no errors to finish the game. Boston Swifts captain Sweetheart shifts back to 10-ball with the red cue. Sweetheart put the 10 down on the break, causing it to be respotted. She then took one error over 18 shots in a lackluster effort. Archtown Arrows newcomer Cubby also plays 10-ball with the red cue. Cubby couldn't find his way early on, collecting two errors and 17 shots to complete the game. Rounding out the group, Queens Flames captain Crystal has the blue cue in hand for 10-ball. Crystal was fortunate to bank the 8-10 combination to the top left to end on 15 shots after a sloppy turn throughout the game. 

The 41st game today is 10-ball with the green cue for Pronger Tridents captain Precious. Nearly automatic throughout, Precious took only 10 shots and no errors to complete this game. Royal Crowns rookie Kacey brings up the blue cue for her turn in 10-ball. Kacey put the 10 near the top left on the break and it paid off, although she had one error before a 4-10 combination gave her a score of 6 shots. Another 10-ball game sees Archtown Arrows veteran Sleepy B. playing with the purple cue. Sleepy B. She also followed the recent theme of quick finishes, weaving the 4-10 combination through traffic to the bottom left for a score of 9 shots and one error. Whitewater Shores veteran Marsell keeps the purple cue up for 9-ball. Marsell went the distance and finished with 11 shots and no errors in a crisp game. Tysini Hummingbirds star Sugar also uses the purple cue in 9-ball to end the group. Sugar was spectacular with a pair on the break and a kicked 8-9 combination to the bottom side to end on 6 shots with no errors. 

The purple cue stays up in 9-ball to lead the last group with Capital City Sharpshooters mainstay Missy. Good fortune didn't follow Missy, who took one error and 15 shots for the game. Victoria Spurs veteran Sage is next with the blue cue in 9-ball. Sage had an early error for a scratch, but recovered with a 6-9 combination to the top left to end on 9 shots. The red cue draws in at 48th today, with North Modernistic Nighthawks veteran Gizmo playing 9-ball. Gizmo took a pair of errors but still kept himself to 14 shots in a decent game. The silver cue gets a look in 9-ball here with Stonebridge Wolves captain Juno shooting. Juno made a mess of it with two errors and 19 shots in an ugly game. Today's finale is Infinity Torpedoes veteran Fluffina playing 8-ball with the green cue. Fluffina didn't have anything special in this one, taking a pair of errors in 23 shots.
