We're back after a surprising two day break for Thanksgiving. Should the play quality be good, today will be a longer session than usual. We begin with...
The Diamond Gems star Citrus shooting 12-ball with the red cue for a tough opener today. Citrus made a ball on the break, but put five balls near the bottom right, leading to her five errors to get through the game as she had no angles to get positioning. She would finish with a poor 30 shots. The Archtown Arrows' Sally goes next, playing 9-ball with the silver cue. Sally couldn't correct course for the league, getting nothing on the break and taking three errors among 21 infuriating shots. The league is considering suspension for her post-game actions. Southridge Defenders sophomore Hughbert goes third today, using the red cue for 8-ball. Hughbert did well to quell the anger among the league's participants over recent poor efforts, clearing his game out in 19 shots with no errors despite an empty break to lead things off. Viewpoint Sound Meteors newcomer Dani picks up the red cue for her 9-ball game. Dani looked excellent in this appearance, making a ball on a quick break and taking no errors over her 11 shots for a stunningly strong score. The Pearl Surfers' Beth closes the group with more 9-ball and the red cue. Beth did even better, making a ball on the break and playing acceptably until the 5-9 combination to the top right opened up. This ended her turn in 8 shots without an error, a far cry from how the day started.
Group two starts with Boston Swifts mainstay Sweetheart playing 8-ball with the blue cue. Sweetheart had a delay during her game, but did well to end with 20 shots and no errors, although it's a small disappointment that came after making two balls on the break. The Infinity Torpedoes' Shelley goes seventh today, using the silver cue in 9-ball. Shelley did well on her turn despite a rocky start with a scratch on the break. It was her only error, and she cleared the table to score 13 shots for the appearance. North Modernistic Nighthawks rookie Gal Gadot is ready to play her 10-ball game with the silver cue. Gal showed a mastery of the event, making two balls on a wonderful break and then shooting the rack down in 12 shots without an error despite some tough early positions. Her club-mate with Celebrity, the Tysini Hummingbirds' Charli XCX, draws in for 8-ball with the blue cue. Charli didn't have the easiest time getting clear shots early on after an empty break. She would need 22 shots to finish the game, but she didn't take an error for a positive outing. Finishing the group, the Central Warriors sophomore Mario plays 10-ball with the silver cue. Mario had some challenges after an empty break, but he did well to answer all of them without an error, finishing the outing on 19 shots.
The third group kicks off the afternoon session with the Freedom Cascades' Roxy using the blue cue for her 10-ball. Roxy played smart after getting nothing on the break. She took a solid but soft hit at a cluster, which lined up the 1-10 combination to the bottom right to help her finish at 2 shots and no errors. Following that, the Diamond Gems' Pedey plays 9-ball with the silver cue in hopes of bouncing back from a bad game his last time out. Pedey made a ball on the break but took his only error on the next shot for illegal contact. With that behind him, he rallied to end the game at 14 shots. The Eastside Sharks newcomer Cubby is next, playing 9-ball with the red cue. Cubby would take two errors during his game, one for illegal contact and the other a late scratch. He finished in 17 shots for an okay performance. The 14th game today goes to Melissa Benoist, the Terrace City Knights rookie, shooting 9-ball with the red cue as well. Melissa continued the quality slide in the group, taking three errors after an unfortunate distribution from the break. She would finish with 17 shots, frustrated by positioning for much of the game. Spice, the Victoria Spurs captain, wraps up the group with 10-ball and the red cue. Spice managed to take only one error in the game after an empty break, finishing at 18 shots in a decent effort.
Batch four gets going with Central Warriors newcomer Wings playing 12-ball with the blue cue. Wings looked confident despite some scattered shooting early on. He backed up that confidence by not taking an error in 20 shots to finish quickly despite the empty break. The Commerce Tradewinds rookie Rosemary steps in for 12-ball with the silver cue in the next game. Rosemary had two errors and nothing on the break in this appearance, eventually closing at 25 shots after a bit of build-up play to get in position. Boston Swifts captain Patches is set to play 12-ball, also using the silver cue. Patches had one error, but she also made a ball on the break to set the tone. She had some fortunate shots for positioning and ended with a strong 20 shots for the game. The Golden Pilots veteran A. Charlton goes with the blue cue for her 10-ball appearance. Charlton would have liked to start over after an early positioning issue with the 1. It led to the first of her five errors after taking nothing from the break, running her score to 22 shots for the game. The 20th player called to shoot today is Jason N., making his debut for the Swordpoint Blades in 7-ball with the red cue. Jason had four balls potted on the break, with the 2 and 3 in the top right, the 5 in the bottom right, and the 6 in the bottom side. He would convert on all 3 shots from play, producing his error-free score and a bit of a reputation for the event.
Group five leads off with North Modernistic Nighthawks star Cheddar using the blue cue for 10-ball. Cheddar posted 20 shots for the game, struggling with three errors in the appearance after an empty break and some mid-game positioning problems. Bianca, the Southridge Defenders sophomore, is next up with 12-ball and the blue cue. Bianca had two balls on the break, but some late troubles with positioning on her final ball ran up her score to 22 shots, although she had only one error for the appearance. The Tysini Hummingbirds' newcomer Paps plays next, using the blue cue for 9-ball. Paps really botched his turn early on, missing on the 1 from short range multiple times and adding an error for missed contact. His futile play early on inflated his score to 17 shots with the one error by the end of the appearance. The 24th game of the day is the Torpedoes' Shelley coming back to the table for 10-ball with the blue cue. Shelley had a decent start, but she was barely getting good contact late in the game. She had one error on a scratch while potting the 9, and she finished at 20 shots as she easily made the 10. Rounding out the group, Commerce Tradewinds star Taylor Swift plays 8-ball with the red cue. Taylor had two balls on the break, but late issues with getting clear shots on the solids slowed her down near the end, and she finished with 21 shots and no errors for the appearance.
The sixth group begins with Freedom Cascades captain Jasmine playing her 8-ball qualifier with the silver cue. Jasmine was not happy to take an empty break at the start of the game, and a couple of rattled shots peeved her further as she finished with one error and 23 shots for the game. The Knights rookie Melissa is back for 10-ball now, using the red cue in her second game today. Melissa was meticulous in preparation in this game, needing some time before a mid-game surge. She faded again toward the end, but finished at 18 shots without an error as she kept the shooting simple and clean. Capital City Sharpshooters captain Chris goes 28th today, using the blue cue in 8-ball. Chris had a couple of scratches early in the game, his only two errors, but he also made a ball on the break and shot decisively to get a score of 21 shots total. Moving along, the Westside Rockers captain Misty is ready to shoot 8-ball with the red cue. Misty showed well in this game despite an empty break. She took no errors and got through the game efficiently, needing only 19 shots to clear the table. At the back of the bunch, Terrace City Knights rookie Quincy plays 9-ball with the red cue, hoping to be much better than he was in his previous game. Quincy saw nothing fall on the break, but he was dynamic in the 5 shots it took to pull off a 4-9 bank combination that saw the 9 slip off the 5 and into the bottom right to end his turn. Quincy took no errors in the quick performance.
Batch seven is headed by Tysini Hummingbirds veteran Brownie, who uses the red cue for 12-ball in this appearance. Brownie had nothing on the break, although she did come close, but she also took no errors in the game, getting through on 21 shots as she smartly played with good positioning. Up next, the Midland Predators sophomore Fuchsia does 10-ball with the blue cue. Fuchsia made two balls on the break, setting the tone for a quite nice game. She completed the outing in 15 shots without taking an error, always looking in control even when she missed. The 33rd player drawn today is Lighton Prestige veteran Katelynn, who plays 12-ball with the red cue. Katelynn had a rough start, but she finished easily enough, getting good positions on her shots at the end to close with a score of 19 shots and no errors for the game. Continuing along, the Tradewinds rookie Rosemary joins the Rotation ranks, playing her sixth appearance with the blue cue. Rosemary's dedication to clean play was admirable, but it didn't serve her as well as it should. She had nothing on the break and only one error in the game, but her lack of a second gear for shooting precision left her with 33 shots for the game. The batch ends with Eastside Sharks veteran Chelsea playing 10-ball with the silver cue. Chelsea was frustrated not to make a ball on the break, and she would take three errors in the course of play before wrapping up at 20 shots in a disappointing effort.
The eighth group opens with Southern Monarchs captain Panda using the blue cue for 8-ball. Panda had a ball on the break and looked on pace to join the event leaders, but a late fade in his shooting quality dragged him down to 21 shots while taking no errors. The 37th player of the day is Prism, making her Todavía Stills debut with the silver cue in 7-ball. Prism looked strong in this game, needing only 9 shots to clear the table despite going empty on the break, and she had no errors during the appearance. Next up is the Swifts captain Patches, playing her second game of the day in Rotation with the silver cue. Patches looked confident on the ball, and she only took two errors in the game despite an empty break. Her positioning skills helped a lot, as she finished with 27 shots. Atlantic Pirates sophomore Klaus is set to go next, using the red cue in 8-ball. Klaus couldn't get anything to fall on the break, but he also didn't make any errors, his clean effort being completed in 21 shots for a good outing. Wrapping up the group, Queens Flames rising star Violetta brings on the blue cue for her 10-ball game. Violetta didn't make a ball on the break, although she came close. She had two errors, for a scratch and an illegally potted ball, but she still closed the appearance in 17 shots.
Group nine sees the Hummingbirds' Brownie go again, using the blue cue in Rotation. It would prove a forgettable appearance for Brownie, as she needed five errors after an empty break and a few questionable decisions regarding the pace of her shots. She ended on 34 shots for the game. Mr. Snowman's season debut for the Infinity Torpedoes will try to put the league back on track, as he uses the silver cue in 7-ball. Mr. Snowman tried to get a ball on the break but failed, settling for an error-free 8 shots after that to complete his first appearance of the year. We return to Rotation as the Web City Spiders' Ted shoots it with the red cue. Ted couldn't quite get anything on a poor break, and he added a pair of errors but mostly kept his shooting clean as it took him 31 shots to complete the appearance. The Surfers' Beth is back for her second game of the day, the 44th overall, as she plays 10-ball with the silver cue. Beth was not at her best in this one, taking three errors after an empty break, which inflated her score to 17 shots, which is still reasonable in the scope of the event. Pronger Tridents third-year star Zach closes the group with the red cue in hand for 10-ball. Zach went empty on the break as well, a common theme in the event, but he got lined up to deflect the cue off the 7 and into the 10, which dropped at the bottom right to cut his appearance short in 12 shots. He had no errors in the game.
The final group is led by the Flames sophomore Violetta, who returns for 12-ball with the silver cue. Violetta made a ball on the break, which didn't surprise many, but her mid-game play stood out for good positioning and patience. She would take one error, and she needed 19 shots to finish the game in good form. After that, Zach is back, as the Tridents star plays 12-ball with the silver cue in his second appearance today. Zach couldn't stay focused on the game, with two of his four errors for illegally potted balls. He did make a ball on the break, but he closed with 24 shots in a mediocre outing. Today's 48th game belongs to Jennifer Livilotti of the Terrace City Knights, as she plays 9-ball with the silver cue. Jennifer did make a ball on the break, but her one error and cautious style of play caused more trouble that it solved, as she needed 16 shots to get through the appearance. Up next, the Southern Monarchs sophomore Hoppy shoots 10-ball with the blue cue. Hoppy made a mess of a potentially good game, getting nothing on the break and needing 19 shots with one error to clear the table after having multiple potential chances to pot the 10 early. Finally, the Warriors newcomer Wings hops on the Rotation bandwagon with the red cue in today's finale. Wings took four errors in the game after going empty on the break, but his careless shooting actually inspired him later, and he finished on 27 shots for the game.

We're set for a new week of cricket in the Elite division. The entire slate of games is played on Thanksgiving, beginning in the morning with...
Ebay Center, Queens: The Arrows rest their captain Ruby after her pool appearance yesterday, while Kyle sits for performance reasons for the hosting Flames. Sally led off with a decent 319 for Archtown to get the scoring started. Crystal had a bit more pace but couldn't maximize her advantage for Queens, skying a ball to end at 343 for a narrow initial lead favoring the hosts. Sleepy B. overcame a lack of focus that led to two false starts, but her 302 only put the Arrows ahead by a small margin. Violetta didn't punish the mistake, her 290 actually weakening the Flames lead in a very close first game of the day. Dusky got beat on a sliding offering, which caught her on the backhand and flipped out of play to end the Archtown veteran's turn at 177. Briana broke the game open for Queens with 934, setting them far ahead with a player each to go on a heady play. Wild Thing couldn't mount the comeback with 208 for the Arrows, leaving them to lose with 1006 to start their three-game road trip. Hannah tapped 320 at the end for the Flames, closing their win at 1887. Queens is up to 3-1 on the year, while Archtown dips to 1-3.
AT&T Oceanside Stadium, Oceanside: Jason V. takes the bench for the first of a pair of Waves home games, while Chimpy sits for the Union for performance reasons. Ms. Puppy built up a quick 436 for Modernistic on her turn, setting them off positively for this game. Snuggle had some good swings for Oceanside but let a ball sneak under his bat to end his turn at 354, giving them an early deficit. Daisy countered with 551 for the Union on her turn, extending their lead nicely. Celestia proved her value for the Waves, ripping 799 in response to just about cover the deficit at the midway mark. Puff I couldn't get a grip on her game for Modernistic with 231, barely regaining the lead. Josie supplied 608 for Oceanside in a strong appearance for the rookie, likely securing the game for her side. Kodiak struggled for the Union, hitting a paltry 96 as they lost with 1314 total. Dewey tacked on 429 for the Waves at the end, sealing their win at 2190. Oceanside rises to 2-2, while Modernistic is 0-2 on the year.
Google Pitch at Union Ground, Modernistic: The Union sit Kodiak for this Urban Derby, while their rival Nighthawks postpone Gal's debut again in their second of a four-game road trip. Chapman happily accepted 524 for North Modernistic to end her turn shortly after a technical error developed, the effort padding their lead again. Puff I had Modernistic's best outing yet with 327, but they remain at a deep deficit, their home opener looking quite spoiled. Luigi hammered an extra 602 for the Nighthawks, setting their likely victorious final score at 2103. Chimpy picked up 383 for the Union at the end of the game, but they took the loss anyway with 878. North Modernistic gets a big rivalry win to go to 2-0, while Modernistic drops to 0-3, plagued by inconsistent offense.

Snuggle absolutely crushed the ball on his turn, to the tune of 1653 for Oceanside to take a massive lead initially. Watermelon chopped 464 for the Surfers in response until a bad swing cut her turn short. Celestia picked a good time for a bad game, hitting only 162 here for the Waves, who remain firmly ahead. Neopolitan halved the current deficit with her 659, keeping Pearl in the fight, however improbable a comeback might be. Josie played a solid game with 359 for Oceanside, doing well to maintain their lead late in the game. Beth keeps improving for the Surfers, batting 409 this time, but they still took a hard loss at 1745, despite their best offense yet. Dewey iced the Waves win with his 272, giving them a total of 2446. Oceanside sits at 3-2 on the year, while Pearl shows growth but still falls to 0-3.
Cisco Tysini Field, Tysini: The Hummingbirds are without their captain Princess for rest here, while the Pirates also sit their captain Delila for performance. Isabella had a good response to her recent benching, slamming 714 for Atlantic to lead off this game. Leandra has not had her best this season yet, falling with 44 in lead-off for Tysini, leaving the hosts with a steep climb in the game. Steven kept the Pirates attack strong with 663 on his turn, setting their lead very high. Charli got a lot of that back for the Hummingbirds with 506, giving them a respectable score at the halfway mark. Klaus kept Atlantic strong in attack, carving out 775 to pad the lead once again with his slick performance. Brownie had a pathetic 97 for Tysini in response, assuring the hosts of a brutal loss in this game. Max kept it simple with 336 for the Pirates at the end, successfully using his backhand during the turn that brought the team's final to 2488. Paps collected 433 for the Hummingbirds, a solid effort at the end to bring their losing total to 1080. Atlantic is up to 2-1 on the year, while Tysini dips to 1-3.
Capital City SuperCenter, Capital City: The Sharpshooters bench Missy for their home opener, while the Nighthawks don't want to mess with a successful lineup, again benching Gal. Peach had a less dominant outing this time, only getting 149 for North Modernistic on the first turn. Chris answered with a big 883 for Capital City, working his pace efficiently to give the hosts the early lead. Luigi was immediately under attack on his turn, but he fought it off to score 367 for the Nighthawks, although they still lose with 1233. Pauline rallied for 745 at the end for the Sharpshooters, impressing the crowd on her competitive debut as the hosts win with 2784. Capital City rises to 2-0, bumping North Modernistic from the perfect ranks down to 2-1.
Honda Driftwood Coliseum, Pearl: The Surfers sit Boots for this rematch in the Aquatic Derby, while the sophomore Celestia rests for the Waves after a hot start to the year. Snuggle looked much worse on the road, taking only 178 for Oceanside in lead-off this time to start their three-game road trip. Watermelon popped 424 for Pearl to open their scoring with a noticeable advantage. Josie tried to get a grip on the game, but she bailed out at 217 as she sent a ball too high, hurting the Waves' comeback hopes. Neopolitan left the door open for the Surfers, trying and failing on her backhand before getting knocked out at 32 points for the poor appearance. Dewey did as he needed to, unleashing 755 for Oceanside to snag the lead out from under their hosts. Bright tried to go to his backhand for a double-hit, but the play failed, giving 174 to Pearl's now-endangered offense. Jason V. stayed firm on his swings, grabbing 432 for the Waves to set their final score at 1582. Beth did what she could for the Surfers, but her 375 left them short at 1005. Oceanside rises to 4-2 with a 2-0 mark against their rivals, while Pearl sits at 0-4 for the year.
Nissan Infinity Stadium, Infinity: The Torpedoes begin a five-game home stand with Shelley resting, while the Arrows give Dusky some needed rest in the first of a road back-to-back. Sally had a false start on her first try, and then bounced back with 379 for Archtown for a solid second effort. Smudge poked 401 for Infinity on her turn, giving them a very small initial lead in this game. Ruby missed on a backhand slick attempt, but still gained 385 for the Arrows, pulling them ahead again. Fluffina found a nice groove to ride to 624 for the Torpedoes, giving them a strong lead at the midway point. Sleepy B. pummeled 858 for Archtown on her turn, making a huge push to swing things in the visitors' favor. Solaris shot back with 539 for Infinity, not quite enough to cover the deficit but certainly plenty to set up a close finish. Wild Thing posted 378 for the Arrows, giving them a final of 2000 on the dot, with the game still up for grabs. Mr. Snowman was not up to the task, ending at 224 to give the Torpedoes a loss with 1788. Archtown is up 2-3, while Infinity slips to 2-2.
Capital City SuperCenter, Capital City: The Arrows complete the back-to-back with Wild Thing resting, while Missy sits again for the Sharpshooters after their previous home win. Sally continued to grow comfortable with the season, striking 473 for Archtown to give them a healthy lead here. Ruby covered the deficit with a decent 369 for the Arrows, keeping things close so far. Sprinkles added a little more with 448 for the Sharpshooters, extending their lead halfway through the game. Sleepy B. didn't have another game-changed in her pocket, taking only 208 for Archtown as their offense takes a hit. Lorde had only 119 for Capital City in response, weakening their lead before the final players' turns. Dusky shoved 376 for the Arrows on her turn, putting their final at 1426 in the close game. Pauline was a little weaker at 328 for the Sharpshooters, but they still got the win with 1480. Capital City is up to 3-0 on the year, while Archtown falls back to 2-4 with a hard-fought loss.
McDonald's Pitch at Pirates Park, Atlantic: A minor rivalry sees the Pirates sit Max at home again, while Taylor is on the bench for the Tradewinds. Tigerette still isn't in form yet, posting 260 for Commerce in a rough lead-off turn from the experienced captain. Delila pulled Atlantic ahead by a small margin with her 329, giving the game a close feel after the first turn. Lionel countered with 392 for the Tradewinds, slowly escalating the scoring as the visitors reclaim the lead. Isabella's home struggles persisted, as a ball off her wicket ended her turn at 51 for the Pirates, who now trail. Rosemary slashed another 522 for Commerce on her turn, boosting their lead at a critical time. Steven was under siege early, mitigating his effectiveness despite his scoring 488 for Atlantic to keep them in the fight. Niki did alright with 311 for the Tradewinds, but they finish at a far-from-safe 1485. Klaus has also been bad at home for the Pirates, his 80 points leaving them at a loss with 948 this time. Commerce is 2-0 on the year, while Atlantic drops to 2-2 with the loss.

Charli made a dent in the deficit with 391 for Tysini, keeping things interesting near the end of the low-scoring game. Pauline just kept swinging for the Sharpshooters in a massive performance, crushing 1077 to put her team at 2041, almost guaranteeing a win. Paps mailed in the finale, ending on 256 as the Hummingbirds took the loss at 1136. Capital City rises again to 4-0, while Tysini is 1-4 on the year.

Daisy countered with 551 for the Union on her turn, extending their lead nicely. Celestia proved her value for the Waves, ripping 799 in response to just about cover the deficit at the midway mark. Puff I couldn't get a grip on her game for Modernistic with 231, barely regaining the lead. Josie supplied 608 for Oceanside in a strong appearance for the rookie, likely securing the game for her side. Kodiak struggled for the Union, hitting a paltry 96 as they lost with 1314 total. Dewey tacked on 429 for the Waves at the end, sealing their win at 2190. Oceanside rises to 2-2, while Modernistic is 0-2 on the year.
Google Pitch at Union Ground, Modernistic: The Union sit Kodiak for this Urban Derby, while their rival Nighthawks postpone Gal's debut again in their second of a four-game road trip. Peach got aggressive toward the end of her turn, which cost her as she knocked herself from the game at 503 for North Modernistic. Ms. Puppy had a false start on her first try before exiting with a sorry 24 for Modernistic on the second attempt. Cheddar swatted another 474 for the Nighthawks, nearly doubling their advantage. Daisy got beat by a deflected ball that landed on her wicket, bumping her at 144 for the Union. B. Chapman happily accepted 524 for North Modernistic to end her turn shortly after a technical error developed, the effort padding their lead again. Puff I had Modernistic's best outing yet with 327, but they remain at a deep deficit, their home opener looking quite spoiled. Luigi hammered an extra 602 for the Nighthawks, setting their likely victorious final score at 2103. Chimpy picked up 383 for the Union at the end of the game, but they took the loss anyway with 878. North Modernistic gets a big rivalry win to go to 2-0, while Modernistic drops to 0-3, plagued by inconsistent offense.

Neopolitan halved the current deficit with her 659, keeping Pearl in the fight, however improbable a comeback might be. Josie played a solid game with 359 for Oceanside, doing well to maintain their lead late in the game. Beth keeps improving for the Surfers, batting 409 this time, but they still took a hard loss at 1745, despite their best offense yet. Dewey iced the Waves win with his 272, giving them a total of 2446. Oceanside sits at 3-2 on the year, while Pearl shows growth but still falls to 0-3.
Cisco Tysini Field, Tysini: The Hummingbirds are without their captain Princess for rest here, while the Pirates also sit their captain Delila for performance. Isabella had a good response to her recent benching, slamming 714 for Atlantic to lead off this game. Leandra has not had her best this season yet, falling with 44 in lead-off for Tysini, leaving the hosts with a steep climb in the game. Steven kept the Pirates attack strong with 663 on his turn, setting their lead very high. McDonald's Pitch at Pirates Park, Atlantic: A minor rivalry sees the Pirates sit Max at home again, while Taylor is on the bench for the Tradewinds. Tigerette still isn't in form yet, posting 260 for Commerce in a rough lead-off turn from the experienced captain. Delila pulled Atlantic ahead by a small margin with her 329, giving the game a close feel after the first turn. Lionel countered with 392 for the Tradewinds, slowly escalating the scoring as the visitors reclaim the lead. Isabella's home struggles persisted, as a ball off her wicket ended her turn at 51 for the Pirates, who now trail. Rosemary slashed another 522 for Commerce on her turn, boosting their lead at a critical time. Steven was under siege early, mitigating his effectiveness despite his scoring 488 for Atlantic to keep them in the fight. Niki did alright with 311 for the Tradewinds, but they finish at a far-from-safe 1485. Klaus has also been bad at home for the Pirates, his 80 points leaving them at a loss with 948 this time. Commerce is 2-0 on the year, while Atlantic drops to 2-2 with the loss.

Chris started the night session a bit shaky with 201 for Capital City in this appearance. Princess answered with 281 for Tysini, following a similar pattern of a pacey start and slow decline. Missy bounced back from two games on the bench with a scattered 574 for the Sharpshooters, giving them a more confident second lead. Leandra couldn't keep her game going, ending at 208 as the Hummingbirds fall behind. Sprinkles couldn't solve a bunch of low offerings, allowing a ball to hop over her bat and end her turn at 189 for Capital City. Charli made a dent in the deficit with 391 for Tysini, keeping things interesting near the end of the low-scoring game. Pauline just kept swinging for the Sharpshooters in a massive performance, crushing 1077 to put her team at 2041, almost guaranteeing a win. Paps mailed in the finale, ending on 256 as the Hummingbirds took the loss at 1136. Capital City rises again to 4-0, while Tysini is 1-4 on the year.
Ebay Center, Queens: The Flames host the last game of the week, resting Hannah, while the Sharpshooters put Sprinkles on the bench for the first time as they complete a road back-to-back. Chris still didn't have his same sharpness, ending at 297 for Capital City to begin this game. Crystal countered with a big 576 for Queens at the start, giving the hosts the early lead. Missy put in another good performance for the Sharpshooters, shoveling 794 to give them the lead on the second attack. Violetta fired back with 542 for the Flames, just sneaking them ahead once again for a tight game halfway through. Lorde countered with 658 for Capital City, restoring a healthy lead for the visitors after her strong appearance. Briana tried to challenge that, but she overextended herself on a swing and ended at 368 as she deflected the next one up and out of play. Pauline tapped 338 at the end to set the Sharpshooters at 2087, which isn't guaranteed to be a safe score yet. Kyle made a good push, but a ball just got under his bat to end his turn at 520 for the Flames, and they narrowly lost at 2006. Capital City remains perfect at 5-0 despite some close battles, while Queens unluckily dips to 3-2.

2018 Qualifiers - Day 10
It's Thanksgiving Eve, and we're only playing pool today. We begin the 40-50 game slate with...
The Boston Swifts' struggling star Puff II, who uses the silver cue for 10-ball. Puff II snapped during her game, taking five errors and 28 shots for the appearance. She will be suspended for the next Swifts cricket game after her post-game outburst. The Whitewater Shores' Shaggy tries to turn thing around for the league as a whole by playing Rotation with the red cue. Shaggy had a dazzling performance in her game, taking just one error and finishing the game in 20 shots despite her empty break. Harrison Specters rising star Sydney Sierota is next up, shooting 9-ball with the silver cue. Sydney needed 15 shots for her game, making a ball on the break but also scratching after illegal contact early on for her two errors. She played well in the end, adjusting to today's humid conditions to position herself better. Her Specters teammate Lexi Woode is next, playing 9-ball with the silver cue as well. Lexi had a good start despite an empty break, but the performance faded late. She had two errors for scratches, and she would end at 18 shots after chasing the 9 around. An eventful first group ends with the Golden Pilots' A. Charlton using the blue cue in 9-ball. Charlton had one of the best 9-ball games yet, making two balls on the break and finishing with 3 shots as she potted the 3-9 combination to the bottom right. She had no errors in the productive outing.
Group two leads off with Salmo making his second Eastside Sharks appearance, using the silver cue in 8-ball. Salmo had a decent outing this time, struggling for a run early before surging late. His one error came late on missed contact, slowing him down to finish at 21 shots for the game. Precious, the Pronger Tridents captain, plays the seventh game today, using the red cue in 9-ball. Precious turned a potentially ugly game into a great one by missing on the 1 after making a ball on her break. This second chance at the 1 set her up for a 3-9 combination to the bottom right to end her turn at 3 shots and no errors. Following that, Harrison Specters captain Twinkie II steps in to shoot 10-ball with the blue cue. Twinkie II had a mediocre outing, needing 19 shots with one error after a poor break didn't produce anything but an impossible first shot. Leonardo of the Midland Predators keeps the event as 10-ball, but switches the red cue into action. Leonardo had a ball on the break, but he was left with a variety of impossible positions later in the game, taking three errors among his 20 shots as a hot start went to waste yet again in 10-ball. His Predators teammate Fuchsia closes the group with her 9-ball game with the blue cue. Fuchsia made two balls on the break, and then played well save for her single error over the course of the game. She ended with a strong 12 shots for the appearance as 9-ball seems to be a favored game today.
The third group gets going as Cobalt, the Stonebridge Wolves sophomore, plays 10-ball with the red cue. Cobalt had nothing on the break, but he did get mostly clear shots for the game. He took only one error, but couldn't flip the performance and ended at 19 shots. The red cue remains in action as Diamond Gems captain Smokey shoots 8-ball in his second appearance of the year. Smokey had a rough outing, unable to get anything to drop on the break and taking one error over a lackluster 26 shots as he struggled to finish plays with success. Ted of the Web City Spiders will face quite the challenge with the red cue in hand for 10-ball. Ted couldn't break the cycle of mediocrity for the event, taking one error and nothing on the break in his game that finished at 19 shots. The 15th game of the day belongs to Jeremias of the Royal Crowns, who shoots 9-ball with the red cue. Jeremias had a ball on the break, but he also collected three errors during the game, and his late play left much to be desired as he ended with 17 shots total.

Cassandra put in a wonderful performance, making a ball on the break and leaving the 10 near the bottom side. She had some shaky shots, but didn't take an error, finishing on the 2-10 combination at the bottom side for a score of 5 shots. The Golden Pilots star Dusty will try to follow that up with her 8-ball game, using the red cue. Dusty had a great game going, making a ball on the break and pushing her offense well, but a late scratch, her only error in the game, caused her to need 21 shots to finish. The 19th player drawn today is Bright of the Pearl Surfers, who plays 9-ball with the blue cue. Bright had nothing on his break, and he took one early error, but he had 14 shots for the game in a reasonable performance. Rounding out the group, the Queens Flames' Kyle shoots his 9-ball game with the silver cue. Kyle wasted a ball on the break by taking three errors, two for illegal contact and one for a scratch on the break. He would take 16 shots, ending a shot early presumably as he made the 8-9 combination to the top left.
Group five opens with Royal Crowns star Kayla playing 9-ball with the blue cue. Kayla couldn't pot a ball on the break, but she also steered clear of errors during the course of her game, needing only 13 shots to clear the table quite smoothly. Viewpoint Sound Meteors sophomore Nibbles is next, debuting for the year in 7-ball with the blue cue. Nibbles quickly went from a ball on the break to playing for the combination as the 2 gave him trouble. Luckily, he cut the 2-7 into the top side to end his turn at 6 shots before he could take an error. Another season debut is on the way, as the Swordpoint Blades' Stealth picks up the blue cue for 7-ball as well. Stealth could have done better at the start, chasing the 1 for too long to get anything positive from the game. An error, an empty break, and 14 shots later, he finished the game in mediocre form. The Archtown Arrows captain Ruby gets today's 24th game, shooting 9-ball with the silver cue. Ruby showed why she's one of the game's best, as her empty break and single error looked to hold her back until an amazing triple-pot. Out of desperation, Ruby cut the 4 into the bottom right as intended, with the 6 also dropping in the top right on a bank and the 7 getting kicked into the bottom side as the cue caromed around. This helped Ruby pave her way to only 13 shots for the game. Closing out the group, Twinkie I makes her long awaited Pacific Volcanoes debut in 7-ball with the blue cue. Twinkie I didn't get a ball on the break, but she took no errors and closed the game in 9 shots, a successful first step on her comeback tour.
The sixth group is headed by Pacific Volcanoes superstar captain Starlight, who has the silver cue in hand for 12-ball this time. Starlight had to play differently than usual in this game, needing 24 shots with one error after an empty break to get through the mentally challenging game. Next up is the Spiders' Ted, returning to action for his second game of the day in 12-ball, and he also will use the silver cue. Ted couldn't get anything on the break either, and he faced a similar challenge as Starlight, having to play smart instead of aggressive. He did slightly better, taking only one error among 23 shots for the game. Midnight of the Westside Rockers goes 28th today, playing 10-ball with the red cue. Midnight had nothing on the break, and took two errors early trying to line up a combination on the 10. She backed off, and then made a late push as well, taking her third and final error many shots before ending at a pitiful 26 shots. Moving along, Tysini Hummingbirds captain Princess plays 12-ball with the red cue in an increasingly difficult group. Princess got wrecked despite making a ball on the break. Her struggles were in late positioning and keeping the cue on the table, as she had three errors, two for scratches, and then bad positioning before ending at 27 shots. At the back of the group, the Diamond Gems' Rosalina plays 9-ball with the silver cue. Rosalina needed 17 shots to get through the game, making nothing on the break and adding three errors before a 5-9 combination to the bottom left in a truly bad game.
Group seven starts with Quincy, the Terrace City Knights rookie, using the blue cue for 8-ball in his second career game. Quincy ended up at 36 shots for the game, including eight errors, three of which came from play, and the last five for illegally potting the 8 at the end of the game. It can't possibly get worse for the 32nd player today, the Pronger Tridents' Zach, who uses the silver cue for 9-ball. Zach calmed things down easily, going empty on a fiery break, but using the 1 to deflect into the 8-9 combination, which caromed off of two rails before dropping in the bottom side to end his game at 1 shot and no errors. Central Warriors sophomore Mario goes next, using the red cue for his 9-ball game. Mario had a ball on the break, bringing optimism to his game. He lulled in the middle of the performance, the nadir being a scratch, but he recovered to end with 13 shots and just the one error. Jack of the Web City Spiders draws in for 9-ball with the silver cue in the next game. Jack did alright at first, making a ball on the break and showing a lot of control, but he slipped at the end, finishing with 13 shots and no errors. Finishing the group is another returnee, the Everton Eagles' Cleo, who plays her 9-ball with the blue cue. Cleo made two balls on the break, and then followed up with a spinning deflection off the 1 to pot the 9 at the top right to end with 1 shot and no errors for the game.
Today's final group kicks off with Jack returning to play 10-ball with the red cue as the Spiders newcomer gets a second game in short order. Jack had one of the better performances in the event today, making a ball on the break and ending in 16 shots despite accumulating three errors on his turn. Pronger Tridents rookie Lize gets the 37th game today, playing 9-ball with the silver cue. Lize didn't have anything special for the game, needing 17 shots just to deflect off the 4 to pot the 9 in the bottom left corner. She had one error and an empty break during the appearance. The Swifts' Puff II is back for 12-ball, with the league fearing another meltdown from the struggling veteran as she shoots with the silver cue. Puff II finally had a good qualifier, needing only 16 shots without an error here after making a ball on the break to cease the curse hanging over her. Following that, the Crowns' Jeremias returns for his second game today, using the silver cue for 10-ball in this appearance. Jeremias had nothing on the break and took three errors among an awful 29 shots, one more casualty of a rough day of games. Sleepy B. of the Archtown Arrows leads us out of action, playing 8-ball with the blue cue in the final game. Sleepy B. did alright on her turn, going empty on the break and taking one error but closing in 21 shots for an acceptable effort.

Ruby showed why she's one of the game's best, as her empty break and single error looked to hold her back until an amazing triple-pot. 2018 Qualifiers - Day 8
