We'll try to do the entire Elite Week 17 schedule in one day today. We begin with...
Honda Driftwood Coliseum, Pearl: The Surfers get the first game of the week at home, facing the Capital City Sharpshooters. Neopolitan sits for the hosts while Lorde takes the bench for the visitors. Chris had a lack of pace at the start for Capital City, managing only 210 in a sloppy first turn. Boots stayed very much in form with 742 for Pearl, skipping an optional replay after a technical error. Missy crashed out with 96 for the Sharpshooters in a disappointing second attack. A deflection ceased Watermelon's turn for the Surfers at only 51, sending the game on a lower-scoring track. Sprinkles made quite the comeback rally with 874 for Capital City, pulling them ahead with the fantastic turn. Bright faltered under pressure with a measly 42 for Pearl, giving them a deficit to overcome on the final turn. Pauline picked up only 185, a deflection cutting her down to give the Sharpshooters a total of 1365. Beth put the pressure on with 512 for the Surfers, but they ended short at 1347. Capital City gets by to 26-5, while Pearl drops to 17-17.
Cisco Tysini Field, Tysini: The Waves play their second straight game at the Hummingbirds. The hosts end an eight-game home stand with Princess resting, while Snuggle sits for the visitors. Celestia saw a ball bounce off the knob of her bat, ending her turn at 247 when it clipped the boundary for a slow start by Oceanside. Leandra countered with 456 for Tysini, giving them a decent first lead. Josie countered with 483 for the Waves, pulling them ahead with a productive appearance. Charli regained a smaller lead for the Hummingbirds with 392, keeping the game close at the halfway point. Dewey kept the pressure up with 539 for Oceanside, restoring their lead again. Brownie made a mess of the counterattack, falling a pathetic 21 as Tysini slips far behind. Jason V. had only 150 for the Waves at the end, putting them at 1419 in total. Paps came up short with 447 for the Hummingbirds, leaving them in a loss with 1316. Oceanside took both visits in this stadium, rising to 18-16, while entering a virtual tie with the 17-15 Tysini side.
Nike Field, Commerce: The Tradewinds put Niki on the bench after a rough outing last time, while Celestia sits in a turn of rest for the visiting Waves. Snuggle collected 706 for Oceanside on the opening turn, pacing his team's attack quite nicely with the big contribution. Tigerette tried to make a sufficient counterattack, but she fell at a paltry 66 for Commerce. Josie tallied another 603 for the Waves on their second attack, padding their lead nicely with a strong outing. Taylor gathered 489 for the Tradewinds, making their offense a bit more respectable with the effort. Dewey took a middling 256 in this appearance, keeping Oceanside firmly ahead for now. Lionel got distracted quickly and managed a measly 39 for Commerce, ruining any faint hopes of a comeback. Jason V. got overwhelmed by a number of offerings, a rolling ball stalling him at 207 as the Waves finish with 1772 total. Rosemary took a mere 290 for the Tradewinds, leaving them in a deep loss at 884. Oceanside rises to third place at 19-16, while Commerce dips to 13-16.
IBM Nighthawks Nest, North Modernistic: A fatigued Cheddar sits out for the Nighthawks in this rematch from a week ago, while the Flames sit Briana as her struggles seem to have returned. Queens had 344 at the start as Crystal put together an alright first turn for the visitors. Peach had only 96 for North Modernistic to start their offense quite slowly in this game. Violetta slugged 1323 on the second attack for the Flames, continuing to be one of the best young players in the league. Gal tried to keep up for the Nighthawks, but faltered with a meager 96 as the Nighthawks look doomed again. Kyle struggled with a poor 64 for Queens, but their lead is not in any danger despite the misstep. B. Chapman chipped 250 for North Modernistic in response, but they remain significantly behind. Hannah didn't have a lot of pace, but longevity got her to 600 points for the Flames, giving them a total of 2331. Luigi managed just 122 as the Nighthawks went quietly with a loss at 575, erasing their recent home success. Queens is up to 19-16, while North Modernistic drops to 11-23 with the defeat.
Ebay Center, Queens: The Flames return home now for a meeting with the Surfers, with the visitors sitting Bright while the hosts put Kyle on the bench, both for performance concerns. Boots slipped from her recent pace but still did well with 448 for Pearl to open the scoring here. Crystal allowed herself to replay a technical error, and then grabbed 600 to give Queens a small initial lead. Watermelon shot back with 552 for the Surfers, pulling them ahead on the second attack. Violetta had a lot of pace for the Flames, but an errant swing stalled her at 297, putting them behind now. Neopolitan stashed 450 for Pearl on the next turn, padding their lead pretty well. Briana bounced back from a benching with 728 for Queens, taking the lead back in a thriller of a game so far. Beth went off with 742 for the Surfers, forcing the hosts to reply to a final score of 2192. Hannah faltered at a weak 60 for the Flames, giving them the loss at 1685. Elite's mid-table teams get closer as Pearl jumps to 18-17, while Queens drops to 19-17.
McDonald's Pitch at Pirates Park: The Pirates begin their tripleheader with Klaus on the bench for rest, while the Union bench Chimpy for this meeting. Ms. Puppy had a decent 362 for Modernistic to open the game, but she didn't put much fear into the hosts. Delila didn't do well enough for Atlantic in response, falling at a poor 144 after sending her last swing a bit too high. Daisy didn't cover that damage with 133 for the Union, her hot start quickly falling apart. Nissan Infinity Stadium, Infinity: The Pirates make a long trip for a one-off road game in the middle of their tripleheader, sitting Delila here, while the host Torpedoes bench Solaris for rest. Isabella led off with a mediocre 250 for Atlantic to begin the scoring. Smudge pummeled 1014 for Infinity in response, quadrupling her daughter's effort to give the hosts a big lead. Steven didn't get much of the damage back with 184 for the Pirates, still leaving them at a deep deficit. Fluffina shot back with a poor 192 for the Torpedoes, keeping their lead steady halfway through the game. Klaus had a weak 126 for Atlantic on this attack, unable to cut into the deficit. Shelley kept Infinity steady once again with 136 on her turn, unimpressive but effective for now. Max made a nice push with 600 for the Pirates, but they took the loss anyway at 1160. Mr. Snowman added a modest 328 for the Torpedoes, capping their win at 1670. Infinity is still firmly in second place with a record of 22-12, while Atlantic drops back to 17-15.

Shadow posted 527 for Web City, continuing to excel even in another difficult season for his team. Delila got only 240 back for Atlantic, doing just less than half of the deficit in response. Ted wrapped up a ball and sent it sky-high, wasting his turn with a pathetic 16 for the Spiders. Steven floated 1008 for the Pirates this time, the massive attack putting them far ahead at the halfway mark. Sugar slipped at 301 for Web City this time, unable to cover the deficit now facing their team. Klaus didn't help Atlantic much with a paltry 64 this time, allowing the game to get close once again with a player each to go. Atlantic bounces back to 18-15, while Web City drops to 15-18, still fighting to stay in the Elite division.
Starbucks Cup, Archtown: The Arrows get their only game this week against the Hummingbirds. Brownie will sit for the visitors, while the hosts give Ruby a game off. Princess had some early struggles with her pace for Tysini, but she recovered to score 319 at the end. Sally fumbled her way to 171 for Archtown in response, only cutting down the deficit slightly. Leandra angled her bat poorly early in her turn, falling at 187 as the Hummingbirds maintain a small lead. Sleepy B. put up 343 for the Arrows, making it an extremely close game at the halfway mark. Paps sits for the visitors, while Shelley is on the bench for the hosts. Princess got beat on a deflection at only 75 for Tysini, leaving them in an uncomfortable position. Smudge had a poor 185 for Infinity in response, but it will give them a small lead. Leandra went off with 1139 for the Hummingbirds, attacking with far more intent than her captain. Fluffina managed just 75 for the Torpedoes, likely making this deficit too steep to overcome. Charli had a solid 487 in support for Tysini, giving them an even stronger lead. Solaris took 314 for Infinity, trying to make their offense respectable in a hopeless game. Brownie strung another 652 for the Hummingbirds, capping their likely victorious total at 2353. Mr. Snowman scooped up 672 for the Torpedoes, but they still lost with 1246. Tysini jumps again to 19-15, pressuring the now 22-13 Infinity team.
McDonald's Pitch at Pirates Park, Atlantic: The Pirates again sit Klaus, hoping not to regret the decision when they host a Nighthawks team giving Gal a game off. Peach had a good pace going for North Modernistic, but she was forced out on a backhand attempt, dropping at 231. Delila couldn't clear a cluttered pitch for Atlantic, ending with 524 as the hosts take the initial lead. Cheddar countered with 461 for the Nighthawks, covering the deficit pretty well. Isabella fired back with 1177 for the Pirates, an epic performance to give them a much larger lead at the midway mark. B. AT&T Oceanside Stadium, Oceanside: The Waves close the week with the Nighthawks in town to close their doubleheader. Peach sits for the visitors, while the hosts bench Jason V. in this meeting. Cheddar hung the ball a bit too much for North Modernistic, falling with 48 very early in her turn. Snuggle made quick work of that with 886 for Oceanside putting them pretty well ahead after the first turn. Gal did alright with 298 for the Nighthawks, but they remain distinctly behind. Celestia just about matched that with 296 for the Waves, keeping their lead steady halfway through the game. B. Chapman fell with 260 for North Modernistic, unable to dent the deficit in a meaningful way. Josie shot back with a firm 650 for Oceanside, padding their lead pretty nicely.
