Jennifer simply couldn't do much more than make contact at first, causing her to need 36 shots with only two errors in a game where she was caught in-between two styles. The silver cue gets another game, playing 10-ball with the Harrison Specters' Twinkie II. This game didn't go well at all, with Twinkie II taking four errors after an empty break before finishing with 18 shots on a 7-10 combination from ball-in-hand, using the only choice doctrine to justify the play. Whitewater Shores sophomore Katharine plays next with the silver cue in 8-ball. Katharine had the first good game of the day, needing only 19 shots and no errors despite an empty break that hardly scattered the rack. The fifth game today is 12-ball with the red cue for the Diamond Gems' Pedey. He held his own despite an empty break, and had an easy time of it in 20 shots with no errors.

Stinky came agonizingly close to a ball on the break, but went empty before putting the game away in 13 shots with no errors. More 9-ball is next when the Eastside Sharks' Cubby plays in the event with the silver cue. Cubby had a ball on the break, but he struggled and ended up with 17 shots and three errors in an ugly outing. Closing the group, Diamond Gems captain Smokey shoots 13-ball with the red cue. Smokey had a ball on the break and took his only error for illegally potting a second ball to that pocket. Smokey needed only 21 shots to complete the outing.

Crystal had some unfortunate shots early in her appearance, but after her lone error, she managed to finish at 20 shots total. Bandit came out flat this time, taking two errors over 19 shots to finish a lackluster game. Todavía Stills star Ruby wraps up this group with the blue cue in hand for 9-ball. Ruby had a ball on the break and needed only 12 shots without an error to finish the appearance.
The ninth group kicks off with Westside Rockers veteran Goatee using the silver cue in 10-ball. Goatee had the potential for a good game, but four errors and an empty break weighed her down to 20 shots. The silver cue stays in action for the 42nd game of the day, where Dusky uses it in 9-ball. Dusky displayed some agitation after needing 16 shots and one error with an empty break in this appearance. Her sister, the Royal Crowns newcomer Brownie, steps in to play 12-ball with the red cue. Brownie made three balls on the break, two legally, but would take six errors and 29 shots to complete the game thanks to awful positioning. The red cue stays up much to the Harrison Specters' Blizzard's chagrin, as she'll use it in 9-ball. Predictably, the game went poorly for Blizzard, as her break stunk and she took two errors in 18 shots to get out of the appearance. Tensions run high as Swordpoint Blades veteran Stealth ends the group with another red cue 9-ball game. Stealth didn't get anything on the break and lost his cool after his only error, but got lucky to finish with 17 shots.
The final group is fronted by Atlantic Pirates captain Delila, who has the blue cue in hand for her season debut in 7-ball with the blue cue. Delila made a ball on the break, but poor cuts at the end pushed her score up to 10 shots and no errors. Another 7-ball game follows, as Pounce makes his Southern Monarchs season debut with the silver cue. Pounce struggled as many who have played late in the day, needing 14 shots and one error after his empty break. The Flames' Crystal returns for a second game today, using the red cue in 12-ball. Crystal didn't turn things around, making a ball on the break but finishing with 26 shots and four errors. The Monarchs' Mams plays her second game today, using the silver cue for 9-ball. Mams was lucky to make three balls on the break, as two errors and a chase on the last four balls put her score at 14 shots with the early help. The Whitewater Shores newcomer Rosalina ends the day with the rough combo of red cue and 9-ball. Rosalina had a bad game to cap a bad day, shooting 19 shots with no errors after a ball on the break.

Qualifiers 2019 - Day 9

The Web City Spiders' Ted shooting 13-ball with the silver cue. Ted surprisingly went empty on the break, but many of his shots lined up neatly for him, and he finished with 20 shots and no errors. Maplewood Lumberjacks captain Diddley goes next, using the blue cue for 9-ball. Diddley made a ball on the break and then quickly bounced the 1 off the 5 to tap the 9 into the top right. Diddley closed at 1 shot and no errors in a fantastic outing. Back to a Web City Spider, as Waluigi makes his second appearance with his new team in 8-ball with the silver cue. Waluigi struggled in this appearance, going empty on the break and needing 27 shots with one error to finish the game. The run of Northeast players continued with the Central Warriors' Noelle playing 12-ball with the silver cue. Noelle struggled with nothing on the break and two errors over 25 shots in a mediocre performance. Closing the group, the Swordpoint Blades' Sugar uses the blue cue for 8-ball. Sugar struggled as well, taking three errors after an empty break that ran her score up to 27 shots.

Qualifiers 2019 - Day 8
We're back for a new week of qualifying action. First up today...
The Modernistic Union captain Ms. Puppy plays 8-ball with the blue cue. Ms. Puppy made a pair of balls on the break, but needed 28 shots with two errors to finish the game in an ugly start to the day. Another captain makes her season debut in the second game of the day, as the Swordpoint Blades' Snowball uses the blue cue in 7-ball. Snowball made a ball on the break, but also struggled with precision, pushing her score up to 12 shots and two errors for the appearance. The Archtown Arrows' Hoppy is next, also using the blue cue in her season debut. Hoppy had an empty break in her appearance, but made the 1 quickly and deflected the cue off the 2 to pot the 7 at the bottom right to end with 2 shots and no errors. The Web City Spiders' Ted follows that with 12-ball using the silver cue. Ted made two balls while scratching on the break in his appearance, and then totaled 25 shots and three errors in a solid overall game. Premier Cricket 2019 - Week 7
We're ready to wrap up Week 7 in cricket action. First up...
Coca-Cola Field, Boston: The Swifts play a staggering seven games this week, sitting Puff II in the first one, while Dreamy is out for the visiting Blades as they start an eight-game road trip. Snowball fired off 495 to get Swordpoint started with a good appearance. Patches belted 947 for Boston on the opening turn, putting the hosts significantly ahead. Bandit crumbled at a mediocre 243 for the Blades, unable to cover the deficit. Gradley muscled up with 813 for the Swifts, raising their lead quite a bit at the halfway mark. Stealth melted at 138 for Swordpoint, likely ceding the game right then and there. Sweetheart lined another 1009 for Boston, showing that they are ready to soar this week. Sugar fell with 184 for the Blades, confirming their loss at only 1060 as they enter the United Cup break on a sour note. Ice Cream capped the win with 793 for the Swifts, putting them at a total of 3562. Boston is 4-3 on the year, while Swordpoint's busy stretch of schedule sees them at 10-10.
BMW RockDome, Westside: The top two teams play a true doubleheader in Westside, with Chimpy out for the hosts while Dusty sits for the visitors in the first game. Valencia chopped 515 for Golden at the start as the division's two best teams begin their clashes. Misty answered with 550 for Westside in a quick response, making it a close start. Strut posted 375 for the Pilots, weakening their attack a bit on the second turn. Slinks slammed 635 for the Rockers, finding a groove and riding it to get the hosts ahead at the midway point. Max covered the deficit with 364 for Golden, but only by a thin margin as the hosts return to batting. Goatee did just fine with 670 for Westside, pulling them firmly ahead. Sparkles had 542 for the Pilots, which left them just short of forcing a response at 1796. Midnight provided a quick 355 to cap the Rockers' win at 2210. Westside wins round one to get to 18-0, while Golden drops into a tie for fifth at 7-6.

Qualifiers 2019 - Day 7
The end of the first full week of Qualifiers is here. The league lifted restrictions it enforced Thursday, and will allow 50 games to go without monitoring. First up...
Midland Predators rookie Kitty shoots 9-ball with the blue cue. Kitty had nothing on the break, but managed to clear the rack in 14 shots with only one error for a solid outing. Another Predator, the veteran Americus, shoots 9-ball with the silver cue. Americus also had an empty break, but she set herself up well with numerous well-planned shots, ending with a 6-9 combination to the top side to give her 11 shots and one error. The silver cue gets another 9-ball game as the Victoria Spurs' Mitchell takes the third game of the day. Mitchell broke from a narrow position, netting nothing, and then needed an error to unlock his skill. The slow start caused him to close with 16 shots and the one error. Bright of the Pearl Surfers steps in for his turn at 9-ball with the silver cue. Bright had two errors, one being his scratch on the break, but he settled down at the end to finish with 12 shots. Terrace City Knights sophomore Melissa rounds out the group with the silver cue on hand for 12-ball. Melissa didn't take an error in the game, starting slow but pounding stripes and then solids before navigating two balls at the bottom left. She finished with 20 shots.
Group two gets going with Katelynn of the Diamond Gems using the red cue in 10-ball. Katelynn rattled a ball down on the break and then posted 17 shots with two errors to finish the game. The red cue stays in action as Gizmo of the Eastside Sharks plays 13-ball. Gizmo had a good start with a ball on the break, and he attacked quickly, but two consecutive scratches, one while potting the 8, gave him six errors and 24 shots. Rumblings of 13-ball being a cursed event sprouted up. Queens Flames sophomore Briana brings us the first 8-ball game of the day, using the blue cue. Briana impressed with her controlled shooting, although she had one error and an empty break over her 21 shots. More 8-ball is on the way in the ninth game of the day, played with the silver cue by the Golden Pilots' Sparkles. Her break lacked in many ways, but she played a good game with no errors and 22 shots, placing Sparkles in the middle of the pack for this event. The Oceanside Waves sophomore Josie wraps up the group with 10-ball and the red cue. Josie didn't get anything on the break and added an error for a scratch, but finished with a solid 16 shots.
The third group begins with Nikolai of the Freedom Cascades using the silver cue in 9-ball. Nikolai wanted a big break and got it, then breezed through the rack in 14 shots and no errors. The silver cue remains in action in the 12th game today, as the Tysini Hummingbirds' Vincent uses it for 8-ball. Vincent had some good shooting after being unlucky with the empty break. He finished the appearance in 22 shots without an error. The reigning MVP and Rookie of the Year, the Terrace City Knights' Quincy, makes his season debut in 7-ball with the silver cue. Quincy made a ball on the break, but his late-game playing was questionable. He finished with 11 shots and no errors. Stonebridge Wolves sophomore Vladimir gets the next game, keeping the silver cue up for 8-ball. Vladimir made a ball on the break and easily went through the rest of the game in 17 shots with no errors. The Diamond Gems' Pedey completes the set with his 8-ball game using the blue cue. Pedey played well despite an empty break, closing with 19 shots and no errors in a clean performance.

The 29th player called to shoot is Westside Rockers newcomer Chimpy, who has the blue cue in hand for 8-ball. Chimpy had no troubles in this appearance, taking no errors over a sharp 20 shots to overcome going empty on the break. At the back of the group, the Swordpoint Blades' Dreamy uses the silver cue to play 10-ball. Dreamy had great enjoyment with two balls on the break, but took four errors among her 16 shots in an eventful outing.
The seventh set opens with the Pacific Volcanoes' Leonette playing 10-ball with the red cue. Leonette started off slowly and bookended her game with a pair of errors, ending with 20 shots in total. The Wolves' Vladimir takes a second game today, playing 9-ball with the red cue. Vladimir had nothing on the break, and when he took a second error, his shooting skills fell apart. He finished with 21 shots in one of the day's worst appearances. Today's 33rd game is 8-ball with the blue cue for Maplewood Lumberjacks captain Diddley. After a rough start, Diddley hounded the solids before turning on the stripes, finishing with 22 shots and no errors. Up next, Eastside Sharks star Chelsea plays 9-ball with the blue cue. Chelsea was stunned to have such bad positioning in her game, taking one error and finishing early at 16 shots with a 5-9 combination to the bottom right. Closing the group, Modernistic Union rookie Sydney C. plays 10-ball with the silver cue. Sydney C. had two early errors after an empty break left her with poor positioning. She rallied in the middle before fading to 17 shots in total.
Group eight starts with Boston Swifts stalwart Sweetheart, who uses the red cue in her 8-ball qualifier. Sweetheart made a ball on the break, and then took two errors over 22 shots for a fairly standard performance. Midnight had a ball on the break and avoided errors before a quick finish with the 2-10 combination to the top right to end at 6 shots. The Rockers captain Misty follows that with an 8-ball game using the blue cue. Misty was unlucky to go empty on the break, but it didn't weigh her down, as she shot 19 shots and no errors in a strong appearance. The Swifts' Sweetheart returns to play 9-ball with the red cue in the next game. Sweetheart had an ugly spread off an empty break, but after her lone error, she settled down and held the damage to 16 shots. Roxy made a ball on the break and quickly dispensed with the rack in 7 shots, including one error. The Rockers' Midnight will end the week with 12-ball and the blue cue. Midnight needed 26 shots with one error after failing to pot a ball on the break, a weak performance from the veteran.

Bright of the Pearl Surfers steps in for his turn at 9-ball with the silver cue. Bright had two errors, one being his scratch on the break, but he settled down at the end to finish with 12 shots. Terrace City Knights sophomore Melissa rounds out the group with the silver cue on hand for 12-ball. Melissa didn't take an error in the game, starting slow but pounding stripes and then solids before navigating two balls at the bottom left. She finished with 20 shots.
Group two gets going with Katelynn of the Diamond Gems using the red cue in 10-ball. Katelynn rattled a ball down on the break and then posted 17 shots with two errors to finish the game. The red cue stays in action as Gizmo of the Eastside Sharks plays 13-ball. Gizmo had a good start with a ball on the break, and he attacked quickly, but two consecutive scratches, one while potting the 8, gave him six errors and 24 shots. Rumblings of 13-ball being a cursed event sprouted up. Queens Flames sophomore Briana brings us the first 8-ball game of the day, using the blue cue. Briana impressed with her controlled shooting, although she had one error and an empty break over her 21 shots. More 8-ball is on the way in the ninth game of the day, played with the silver cue by the Golden Pilots' Sparkles. Her break lacked in many ways, but she played a good game with no errors and 22 shots, placing Sparkles in the middle of the pack for this event. The Oceanside Waves sophomore Josie wraps up the group with 10-ball and the red cue. Josie didn't get anything on the break and added an error for a scratch, but finished with a solid 16 shots.

He finished the appearance in 22 shots without an error. The reigning MVP and Rookie of the Year, the Terrace City Knights' Quincy, makes his season debut in 7-ball with the silver cue. Quincy made a ball on the break, but his late-game playing was questionable. He finished with 11 shots and no errors. Stonebridge Wolves sophomore Vladimir gets the next game, keeping the silver cue up for 8-ball. Vladimir made a ball on the break and easily went through the rest of the game in 17 shots with no errors. The Diamond Gems' Pedey completes the set with his 8-ball game using the blue cue. Pedey played well despite an empty break, closing with 19 shots and no errors in a clean performance.

Qualifiers 2019 - Day 6
After a rough day yesterday, the league is expected to have a quick hand if play is poor. Leading off...
Central Warriors rookie Andrew is the last to make his career debut, using the red cue in 7-ball. Andrew debuted as well as anyone could, making the 7 in the top side on the break to end with 0 shots and zero errors. The Atlantic Pirates' Isabella has the tough task of following that with the silver cue in 12-ball. Isabella made a ball on the break and didn't need much time after that to finish with 19 shots and no errors in a crisp performance. The Infinity Torpedoes' Fluffina has the blue cue in hand for 9-ball, the first of yesterday's players to reappear. Fluffina wasn't pleased with 15 shots in her game, but she had no errors and took a ball on the break as some peripheral positives. The fourth game of the day belongs to Frosty of the Viewpoint Sound Meteors, who will use the red cue in 8-ball. Frosty rattled off 19 shots without an error, although her empty break was a slight disappointment. Modernistic Union rookie Sydney C. plays 9-ball with the blue cue to end the group. Sydney C. had two early errors after an empty break, but a late five-ball run salvaged a score of 15 shots.
More 9-ball begins the second group with the Royal Crowns' Brownie using the red cue in the event. Brownie had some struggles after making a ball on the break, taking one error over a precarious 18 shots. Capital City Sharpshooters captain Chris plays 8-ball with the blue cue in the next game. Chris had one of the best performance of all time, making three balls on the break and adding an early double-pot that helped him finish with 12 shots and no errors. Following that, Everton Eagles star Puff III shoots 9-ball with the red cue. Puff III had nothing on the break and faced some difficult positions, but gracefully avoided errors in her 14 shots to clear the table. The red cue gets another crack at 9-ball with the Pacific Volcanoes' Ms. Kitty. The veteran was feeling her shots, pulling off a complex double-rail kick on the 2 before making a few more tough plays to end with 14 shots and a miracle of no errors. The tenth player drawn today is Golden Pilots legend Dusty, who plays 8-ball with the silver cue. Dusty had an empty break and two errors for scratches, but she managed to produce an average 24 shots for the game.
Group three begins with Princess' Viewpoint Sound Meteors debut in 7-ball with the red cue. Princess joined Andrew as the red cue's perfect 7-ball players, putting it in the bottom side while the 3 fell in the top left on the break as she scored 0 shots and zero errors. Another Meteor makes a season debut as Nibbles uses the silver cue for 7-ball. Nibbles had a little less fun, scratching on the break for his only error, but a 2-7 combination to the top right ended his turn at 6 shots. The run of debuts continue with Twinkie I of the Pacific Volcanoes using the red cue in 7-ball to start her season. Twinkie I had a ball on the break, but an early error pushed her up to 9 shots in a still-solid performance. Nicole of the Lighton Prestige gets the 14th game, using the blue cue in 9-ball. Nicole made two balls on a fierce break, and then needed only 2 shots to converted a three-rail bank 1-9 combination to the bottom side, taking no errors in the process. The Crowns' Brownie returns for her second game of the day, keeping the blue cue in action for 10-ball. Brownie had an empty break and two errors early in the game, but she stayed on course and finished with 15 shots in a good game.
Batch four sees the Harrison Specters' Rudolph using the blue cue for 9-ball at the front. Rudolph had a good break, but made a mess of the game with three errors and plenty more misses. He ended with 23 shots in an ugly performance marring today's strong play league-wide. The Pilots' Dusty returns for her second game today, using the red cue in 9-ball. Dusty left her appearance livid after recording a ball on the break but having five errors in 23 shots. Chicky Phil of the Web City Spiders will try to correct course, using the red cue in 8-ball. Chicky Phil managed to cool tensions, clearing off each suit and then the 8 in 17 shots without an error. Back in 9-ball, the Todavía Stills' Sierra uses the silver cue. Sierra rifled a ball in on the break, but took two errors early on before settling down to close at 12 shots. Maplewood Lumberjacks captain Diddley brings up the rear in this group, using the blue cue for 7-ball in his season debut. Diddley kept with the good debut theme, just dropping the 7 in the bottom side for 0 shots and zero errors, a common line in the event today.

Slinks broke the theme of breaks in the event today, but it didn't work out, as she had 12 shots and no errors in her game. Finishing off the bunch, Lighton Prestige captain Acorn will play his season debut with the red cue. Acorn fired off another unfortunately empty break, but the clever captain closed with 8 shots and no errors in an impressive outing.

Freedom Cascades captain Jasmine takes the 33rd game of the day, shooting 8-ball with the blue cue. Jasmine couldn't lock her shots in very well, ending at 26 shots and an error despite making a ball on the break. Continuing along, the Boston Swifts' Puff II shots 8-ball with the blue cue too. Puff II did a bit better, going empty on the break and taking an error for a scratch but finishing at 21 shots. Rounding out the group, Chimpy makes his Westside Rockers debut with the red cue in 7-ball. Chimpy belted down two balls on the break and took one error in 8 shots, an energetic debut with his new team. The ball on the break validated the 7-ball data set in the continuing breaking impact research.

Marsell had an unlucky potting of the 8, which stuck him with the five-error penalty. He ended up with 26 shots in total after potting two balls on the break. The Lumberjacks' Summer barely waited to come back, using the blue cue for 10-ball now. Summer had nothing on the break, and then proceeded to illegally pot the 10 twice among her five errors in 25 shots. The Shores' Marsell pushes the pace further, shooting Rotation with the blue cue. Marsell made a ball on the break and took two early errors before settling down to score 24 shots in a strong game. Wrapping up the group, the Southern Monarchs' Dominic appears with the red cue for 9-ball. Dominic couldn't get a clear shot after a poor break, ending with 22 shots and an error.
The ninth batch has the Diamond Gems' Katelynn playing 9-ball with the silver cue at the head. Katelynn had three balls down on the break, but still required 14 shots and a bit of luck to avoid errors in her game. More of the troublesome 9-ball is on the way as the Southridge Defenders' Stephanie appears in the event with the red cue. Stephanie potted a pair of balls on the break and closed with 15 shots and one error, frequently frustrated by seemingly impossible positioning. The blue cue will get a look in 9-ball too, as the Swordpoint Blades' Dreamy takes the 43rd game of the day. Dreamy made a ball on the break and played a smooth game from there with only 11 shots and no errors. The blue cue goes again in 9-ball as Todavía Stills captain Easter plays in the event. Easter had two balls on the break and only took one error in 12 shots for a good performance. The group is a 9-ball sweep, with the silver cue appearing for Avril of the Web City Spiders. Avril made a ball on the break and connected on a 1-9 combination to the bottom right to end at 1 shot and no errors.
The last group begins with the Southridge Defenders' captain Debby shooting 8-ball with the blue cue. Debby needed only 20 shots after potting two balls on the break, taking no errors in a strong turn. The blue cue remains in action in 8-ball as the Atlantic Pirates' Steven is next to play. Steven was a little weaker, going empty on the break but staying clear of errors in 22 shots. The Stonebridge Wolves' Cobalt has some repairs to do on his overall mark, playing 8-ball with the silver cue here. Cobalt needed 25 shots after an empty break and two errors, failing to fix his mistakes in form from his first appearance. The silver cue stays in action in the penultimate game, as the Southridge Defenders' Wario shoots 9-ball. Wario went from cold to hot almost instantly after his lone error, ending up with a strong 13 shots after converting the 7-9 combination to the bottom right. The day ends with a beginning, as the Pearl Surfers' Beth starts her season using the silver cue in 7-ball. Beth made a ball on the break but took two errors over 10 shots in a decent start.

Jake, making a rare lead-off appearance, delivered 472 for Royal to stake out the initial lead. Debby got the Defenders on track with her 729 on the second attack, challenging the hosts a little bit. Nightfur won the duel between captains, pummeling 874 on her turn to restore the lead for the Crowns. Stephanie couldn't cover the deficit with 384 for Southridge. Brownie gladly covered that damage with 426 for Royal, giving them the inside track to a victory with one turn left. Caitlin made a valiant effort to rally with 587, but the Defenders will likely lose with a total of 1780. Cassie quickly grabbed 313 for the Crowns to assure them of the win with 2085. Royal rises to 3-10, while Southridge remains far behind at 2-15.
Pepsi Prestige Park, Lighton: The Flames begin a road doubleheader with Hannah taking her turn on the bench, and Nicole will take a turn on the sidelines for the Prestige. Crystal looked much more in form this time, crushing 819 for Queens to open the scoring. Acorn had the pace to make a response, but a high hit ended his turn at 270 for Lighton, who will play from behind. Violetta added 460 on the second attack for the Flames, an acceptable effort in her return to the lineup. Citrus fired back with 759 for the Prestige, cutting into the deficit to make things interesting. Briana exploded for 1755 for Queens on her turn, her second massive road effort of the season. Spirit, a bit fatigued from her own pool appearance, hit only 146 under pressure as it appears Lighton is set to lose. Mario tacked on 577 for the Flames, sealing their offense at 3611 in a likely win. Shiny fell at a quick 211 for the Prestige, confirming their loss with 1386. Queens is back over .500 at 7-6, while Lighton slides to 4-6.
AT&T Oceanside Stadium, Oceanside: One of the league's newest and bitterest rivalries renews as the Flames end a doubleheader while sitting Mario and the Waves have Dewey on their bench. Crystal chopped 611 for Queens to get this United Derby game going. Snuggle got 465 back for Oceanside on their first turn, keeping things close. Violetta lost control with a high swing at 308 for the Flames, weakening their lead on the second attack. Celestia charged with 664 for the Waves, pulling them ahead at the halfway mark. Briana took only 112 for Queens, apparently gassed after her big outing last time. Josie faded with 209 for Oceanside, potentially leaving them exposed heading into the final turn. Hannah managed 410 for the Flames, forcing the hosts to respond to a final score of 1441. Jason V. locked it down with 577 for the Waves, giving them a total of 1915. Oceanside continues to pace Elite play at 11-3, while Queens is 7-7 on the year.

Citrus tried to assemble a rally for the Prestige, but ended up with a decidedly pedestrian 407, losing ground at the halfway point. Brownie went off with 906 for Royal on her turn, strengthening their lead quite a bit. Spirit countered with 635 for Lighton to limit the damage, but they remain noticeably behind. Cassie clubbed 742 more for the Crowns at the end, icing their offense at 2590. Shiny couldn't do enough, ending at 220 as the Prestige lose with 1583 total. Royal is heating up to 4-10, while Lighton's lengthy home failures have them down to 4-7.

Oreo kept the pace fairly consistent with 521 for the Knights, sending the pressure back to the hosts. Briana raised the stakes with 605 for the Flames, giving their lead a small addition. Quincy stumbled at 184 for Terrace City, taking them a step back in the game. Mario answered with 392 for Queens, protecting their lead heading into the final turn. Melissa let the Knights down with a measly 80 on her turn, confirming their loss at 1288 as their losing streak stretches to six games. Hannah chipped in 274 to cap the Flames offense at 1831. Queens' rough week, in which they went 2-3, has them at 8-7, rapidly approaching the now 10-8 Terrace City that's skidded out of the promotion zone.
Toyota Pitch, Freedom: The hosts play their second game of the week with Roxy returning to the bench, while the Tradewinds give Niki regular rest. Tigerette started with a calm pace but gradually increased to pound 733 for Commerce at the start of the game. Jasmine went with a bold attacking plan, which backfired on a high hit that downed her at 144 for Freedom. Solaris was sharp with 662 for the Tradewinds to boost their lead on the second attack. Nikolai hauled in 475 for the Cascades, giving them a bit more of a competitive look despite the deep deficit. Taylor S. had 341 for Commerce, causing their offensive pace to take a step back. Stripes couldn't combat that very well with 260 for Freedom, losing a bit more ground with a player each to go. Rosemary returned from her game off with 150 for the Tradewinds, a weak performance that caps their attack at 1886. Stinky made a push with 509 for the Cascades, but they still lost with 1388. Commerce is up to 9-6 while Freedom drops to 5-6 entering the United Cup break.
