Two series of the four have reach game 6. Just as a programming note, the semifinals and finals will be one post per series, instead of a league-day format like I've been using so far. Additionally, expect second-round pool tournament notes beginning no later than May 4th! For the games, we have...
The Southridge Defenders hosting the Whitewater Shores at GE Stadium. Bear lifted 421 to give Whitewater a strong start in their first attempt to advance. Boots answered with 623, bouncing back strongly from her previous poor outing, and nearly matching her team's total offense for the last game. Twinkie III shot back by blasting 896, giving the Shores an even larger lead. J. Garcia had only 112 for the Defenders, leaving them in a poor position with a significant deficit. Cheddar added on for Whitewater by smacking 297, securing a strong lead. Debby Ryan chipped 312 for Southridge, doing little to affect the deficit. Jennifer crushed 704 to give the Shores a final score of 2318. Shaggy got stymied at 178 for the Defenders, leaving them short at 1225. With the win, Whitewater takes the series by a 4-2 margin. The Shores looked a little more vulnerable in this round, and their semifinal series with the Maplewood Lumberjacks will likely be framed as a David and Goliath battle between the league's giant and the Cinderella story of the playoffs.
The other game 6 sees the Central Warriors welcome the Eastside Sharks to Nestle's Warriors Park. Both teams have a lot of mileage for this postseason, but only Central has the chance to advance in this game. Graham hopes his 169 for Eastside will put a halt to those plans. Twilight came out a little too excited and lifted 150 for Central, leaving the game close early on. Chelsea choked with 20 for the Sharks, putting them in an extremely vulnerable position. Gizmo sliced 195 for the Warriors, finally playing a clean game with meaningful points to get out of his series-long rut. Taylor Swift managed only 128 for Eastside, failing to close the gap. Noelle put up 209 for Central, adding on to the hosts' lead by a slim margin. Robyn's 294 kept the Sharks alive with a final score of 611. Dustin's 192 meant that the Warriors took the game with a final of 746, earning a closely-battled win. Central takes the series 4-2, and sets up a dream series for our non-existent broadcast partners. The Twilight-led Warriors face off against the Starlight-led Volcanoes, as the twin sisters do battle just a couple days before their birthday.
With the quarterfinals done, we move along to the semifinals! A reminder, each series will have all of its games in a single post from this point onward in the playoffs.

Cricket: Quarterfinals Game 5s
Three games on for this cycle, as the second round is winding down almost as quickly as it began. We begin, as we tend to frequently, in...
Eastside, where the Sharks host the Central Warriors at HP Field. This time, the good Twilight showed up, and this half of her personality belted 1223 to establish a massive lead for Central right at the start. Graham slipped up by hitting just 129 for Eastside, leaving them with a steep hill to climb. Gizmo had a personal best in the quarterfinals by hitting 189, but even this came with the caveat of a 50% penalty after his false start. Chelsea belted 506 for the Sharks to keep them competitive. Noelle notched 328 for Central, at this point just managing the game. Taylor Swift scored just 144 for Eastside, almost guaranteeing they will trail in the series again. Dustin's 78 left the Warriors at 1818 for their final score. Robyn posted 256 for the Sharks, but they lost by a significant margin with only 1035 total points. Central again owns a series lead, this time by a 3-2 margin.
To the northwest, the Whitewater Shores welcome the Southridge Defenders to Samsung Whitewater Stadium. Boots was stopped at 64 points for Southridge, getting off to a poor start. Bear hit 343 for Whitewater, a mild total by his MVP standards. J. Garcia took 105 back for the Defenders. Twinkie III replied with 195 for the Shores. Debby Ryan shot back with 193 for Southridge, although they still trailed by a noticeable margin. Cheddar crushed 998 for Whitewater, solidifying an already-strong lead for the hosts. Shaggy's 267 put the Defenders at 629 in the loss, showing her team to have a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde syndrome. Jennifer added 640 onto the winning final for the Shores, leaving them at 2176 in the victory. Whitewater regained the series lead at 3-2, and they will look to close out the series on the road in Game 6.
Finally, the Maplewood Lumberjacks bring in the Royal Crowns to UPS Ground in Maplewood. Frosty began with 235 for Royal, a moderate score for the captain. Fluffina knocked 409 for Maplewood, establishing a typical lead for the hosts. Sydnee scored 184 for the Crowns, keeping them in range but far from in control. Bryant slapped a modest 160 for the Lumberjacks, holding the game steady. Jake grabbed 166 for Royal before being overwhelmed by a variety of bowling attempts. Diddley, by far Maplewood's best player so far, extended their lead with 544 in his turn. Nightfur's 133 sealed the Crowns' fate, as they ended short at 718, losing a fourth straight game to be eliminated. The Lumberjacks advanced by finishing with 1200, 87 of which came as icing from Cubby. Maplewood won the series 4-1, and claim the title of the Cinderella postseason campaign. The Lumberjacks await either the Shores or the Defenders in the semifinals.

Cricket: Quarterfinals Game 4s
We return after a few hours off to bring you the latest games for the playoffs. We begin this cycle in...
The northern region, as the Central Warriors host the Eastside Sharks at Nestle's Warriors Park. Graham began by batting 162 for Eastside. Twilight slipped up with just 33 points for Central, digging her team an early hole. Chelsea made Twilight pay dearly for her poor effort, as the Sharks pulled far ahead on the former's 982-point blitz. Gizmo took only 51 for the Warriors, as his second-round suffering continued. Taylor Swift added 715 for Eastside to make their lead almost certainly insurmountable. Noelle slapped 176 to get Central some more meaningful points. Robyn finished off the Sharks' breakout performance with 719 of her own for a total of 2578. Adding insult to injury for the Warriors, Dustin took a 50% penalty for a false start, scoring 88 points to give the hosts a final of 348 in a massive loss. The series is now tied at 2 heading back to Eastside.
Out west, the Pacific Volcanoes welcome the Golden Pilots to Verizon Field. Valencia stumbled to a 96-point output for Golden, seriously harming their chances for surviving the round. Starlight posted a strong 480 for Pacific, giving them the early lead. Strut was stymied at 82 for the Pilots, furthering their impending doom. Ms. Kitty slugged 817 for the Volcanoes, extending their lead to a lofty height. Dusty cranked at 405 for Golden, but they still trail by a large margin. Jack answered with an even heavier 517 for Pacific, nearly assuring victory at this point. A. Charlton posted 397 for the Pilots, giving them a total of 980 in another harsh loss. Leonette blasted 1315 to give the Volcanoes a massive, morale-crushing 3129 final score. With the win, the Volcanoes have eliminated a high-powered Pilots offense with a thorough beatdown. Pacific is yet to lose in playoffs, advancing the semifinals with either the Sharks or the Warriors next on their list.
To the southeast, the Southridge Defenders bring in the Whitewater Shores to GE Stadium. Bear hauled in a controlled 431 for Whitewater. Boots answered by slugging 678 for Southridge to give them the early lead. Twinkie III got stuck with 33 for the Shores, leaving them in a bad position. J. Garcia added on for the Defenders by chipping 257 points. Cheddar put up a reasonable 288 for Whitewater. Debby Ryan extended the lead for Southridge by blasting 775 points, making it look like the series will end up being tied again. Jennifer confirmed this for the Shores, hitting only 60 to give them a weak final score of 812. Shaggy's 277 put the Defenders officially in the win column with 1987. The series is now tied at 2, which is more than anyone could have asked of Southridge going into it.
Finally, at Kraft Crowns Park, the Royal Crowns host the Maplewood Lumberjacks. Fluffina struck first with 400 for Maplewood, setting things up nicely. Frosty sputtered her way to 177 for Royal, starting the game from a deficit. Bryant had only 113 for the Lumberjacks, leaving the door open to be caught. Sydnee failed to take advantage of the opportunity, posting just 96 points for the Crowns. Diddley extended the lead for Maplewood by slapping 475. Jake got it all back and then some for Royal, hitting 497. Cubby scored 360 for the Lumberjacks, producing their final score of 1348. Nightfur got some back for the Crowns by hitting 400, but they ended up at 1170, which was noticeably short of where they needed to be. Maplewood now heads home carrying a 3-1 series lead and three straight games worth of momentum, with the chance to advance coming the next time out.
Stay tuned for Game 5s in a few minutes, if you happen to see this between now and then.

Cricket: Quarterfinals Game 3s
As mentioned in the previous post, the series have shifted to the lower-ranked teams' venues for games 3 and 4. We begin this cycle where the last one left off, sort of...
As the Royal Crowns host the Maplewood Lumberjacks at Kraft Crowns Park. Fluffina opened with 290 for Maplewood. Frosty bounced back from a terrible Game 2 to score 736 for Royal, establishing a significant lead. Bryant answered with 464 for the Lumberjacks, proving that this game is a little more loose than the last one. Sydnee's 160 for the Crowns meant that the visitors dug in quite significantly in their comeback efforts. Diddley drilled 455 for Maplewood, giving them a lead after his strong bounce-back effort. Jake got some of it back, hitting 304 for Royal, but the hosts remained trailing ever so slightly with a player each to go. Cubby hit only 101, leaving the Lumberjacks definitely within reach at 1310. Nightfur failed to capitalize for the Crowns, with her 39 points contributing to a losing score of 1239. With Maplewood rallying to a 2-1 series lead, the question left in the heads of the fans reads "are the Crowns out of magic?"
Across the urban southeastern region, the Southridge Defenders welcome the Whitewater Shores to the expanses of GE Stadium. After a brutal penalty in the previous game, Bear scored 527 to establish the usual Whitewater lead on the road. Boots put up 240, and appeared a little shaky in the effort, probably from the fear that the visitors tend to bring with them. Twinkie III popped 484 for the Shores, in what appears to be another one of their classic efforts. J. Garcia posted 224 for the Defenders as the deficit increased. Just when it looked to be over, Cheddar had only 32 points for Whitewater after taking a 67% penalty for two false starts. Debby Ryan pulled 256 back for Southridge, getting them slightly closer. Jennifer's 156 left the Shores at 1199, continuing their second-round struggles for offense. This time, it wasn't costly, as Shaggy took a 67% penalty on a mandatory replay and a false start, and ended with a meager 17 points, giving the Defenders only 737. Whitewater, a better team on the road than at home, now leads the series 2-1.
Way up north, the Central Warriors bring in the Eastside Sharks to Nestle's Warriors Park. Graham cranked out 466 for Eastside, getting off to a strong start. Twilight answered with 665 for Central, including using a double forehand-backhand maneuver to avoid ending her turn early, fighting off about six wayward bowls. Chelsea replied with 238 for the Sharks, keeping them above water if you'll forgive the pun. The Warriors fell behind when Gizmo put up a meager 20 points, continuing a rough series for him. Taylor Swift failed to cash in for Eastside, scoring only 36 in her turn. Noelle poked 131 for Central, pulling them back into the lead with a player each left. Robyn's 235 gave the Sharks a final of 975, a score that is far from being safe. Dustin did enough by hitting 276 for the Warriors, giving them the win on a final of 1072. Central is still hovering around pulling off the upset, and they currently lead the series 2-1.
Wrapping up this particular cycle of games, the Pacific Volcanoes host the Golden Pilots at Verizon Field. Valencia ripped 377 for Golden to lead the game off. Starlight countered with her usual strong effort, this time hitting 656 for Pacific to give them the lead at home. Strut chipped only 128 for the Pilots, leaving them significantly behind their opponents. Ms. Kitty exacerbated this issue by crushing 824 for the Volcanoes, asserting their dominance that has prevailed thus far in the series. Dusty hit 240 for Golden, doing little to solve their problem of a lack of points. Jack posted 225 for Pacific, who appear content to cruise to victory this time. A. Charlton hit just 200 for the Pilots, leaving them at 945 in another brutal loss. Leonette kept it quick in the end, hitting 33 to give the Volcanoes 1738 and secure the win. Pacific has the chance to advance the next time they play, leading the series as they do 3-0.
More games later tonight! Definitely expect Game 4s to hit the blog in a few hours, and there's a good chance Game 5s get played as well.

Cricket: Quarterfinals Game 2s
The series are now at Game 2 status. We begin the cycle in...
Eastside, as the Sharks host the Central Warriors at HP Field. Twilight's output dipped again for Central, with just 104 points from this opening effort. Graham got caught out of position for Eastside, and ended up scoring 90 points. Gizmo left the door open again, registering just 36 points for the Warriors after a bad bounce ended his turn early. Chelsea swatted 552 to put the Sharks firmly in the lead. Noelle struck 292 for Central, as the teams appear to now be settled in again. Taylor Swift turned out 336 for Eastside, adding on modestly to the hosts' lead. Dustin posted a strong 375 for the Warriors, but it wasn't enough as they finished with 807 in the loss. Robyn's 42 iced the Sharks' victory at 1020. With the win, Eastside has tied the series at 1 before they head onto the road. If the first round is anything to show, both of these teams like pressure, so it could be a long series.
Across the territorial region, the Golden Pilots welcome the Pacific Volcanoes to Amazon Field. Starlight came out swinging for Pacific, crushing an absolutely epic performance with 1932 points to her name. Valencia showed off her batting skill early on by navigating a potentially dangerous opening, but she ended up with 226 for Golden, leaving quite the large deficit. Ms. Kitty grabbed 384 for the Volcanoes, adding onto their lead. Strut answered with 321 for the Pilots, who appear to have been a bit deflated from their first-round efforts. Pacific's Jack was tagged with a 50% penalty after his false start, and he produced only 119 for his team. Dusty countered with 384 for Golden, getting a few points back. Leonette's 64 put the Volcanoes at a very strong 2499 final score. A. Charlton had a reasonable 327 for the Pilots, but they suffered a loss with their final at 1258.
To the northwest, the Whitewater Shores bring in the Southridge Defenders to Samsung Whitewater Stadium. Boots knocked a powerful 353 for Southridge, showing a bit of muscle in her turn. Bear committed a false start, drawing a 50% penalty, and earning just 179 for Whitewater, which may prove costly if the team doesn't pick him up. The Defenders got only 71 from J. Garcia, leaving the door wide open for a dangerous opponent. Twinkie III picked up 368 for the Shores, pushing them to a modest lead. Debby Ryan pulled Southridge back to the lead with 384 points from the reigning Rookie of the Year. Cheddar scored 305 for Whitewater, leaving the game extremely close with one player each to go. Shaggy came up clutch by hitting 405 for the Defenders, giving them 1213 as their final score. Jennifer's 265 left the Shores slightly short at 1117. With a gutsy performance, Southridge heads home with the series tied at 1, which can only be considered a success given the quality of the opponent.
Finally, we head slightly to the east, as the Maplewood Lumberjacks host the Royal Crowns at UPS Ground in Maplewood. Frosty put up her worst performance of the playoffs, drawing a voluntary replay and then committing two false starts in a row. With the 67% penalty as per the rules, her score stood at 131 for Royal. Fluffina's tough postseason continued, as she failed to cover the gap with only 128 points for Maplewood. Sydnee managed 120 for the Crowns, leaving the game low-scoring and close thus far. Bryant's 162 gave the Lumberjacks a small but noticeable lead. Jake rocked 352 for Royal, gaining a little separation from the previous players. Maplewood's best player so far, Diddley, faltered in this game, earning only 57 points. Nightfur added 256 to put the Crowns at a final of 859. Cubby salvaged the game for the Lumberjacks, cranking out 712 to secure a victory with 1059 points. The heroic effort by Maplewood's caboose hitter means the series will head south tied at 1.
Soon to follow will be the Quarterfinals Game 3s post, where the lesser seeds get their turn to host the first of two games in a row. As for the look ahead, I can confirm three series will reach at least Game 5.

Cricket: Quarterfinals, Game 1s
We're down to just eight teams, six of whom were supposed to make it here based on their seeds anyway. The league is just unpredictable enough to stay interesting. First on the list, we have...
The Whitewater Shores hosting the Southridge Defenders at Samsung Whitewater Stadium. Boots began by slamming 735 for Southridge, an impressive feat given the venue. Bear showed the composure expected of an MVP by answering with 717 for Whitewater. Jessica slipped up with 112 for the Defenders. Twinkie III came in a little too strongly, hitting just 80 for the Shores after her energy got the best of her. Debby Ryan continued the run of poor scores behind the captains, putting up 117 for Southridge. Cheddar slapped 997 for Whitewater, asserting the hosts' dominance once again. Shaggy melted with 16 for the Defenders, leaving them well short at 980. Jennifer tallied 202 to finalize the Shores' effort at 1996. Whitewater takes an early 1-0 series lead that few expect them to relinquish at any time.
To the east, the Maplewood Lumberjacks welcome the Royal Crowns to UPS Ground in Maplewood. Frosty led off with 419 for Royal after accepting the opportunity for a non-penalized replay after a technical glitch. Maplewood's Fluffina also took a replay, but hers was for a false start, and after the 50% penalty, she provided just 96 points. Sydnee stumbled to 66 points for the Crowns, leaving them vulnerable to being caught by a fairly strong home side. Bryant failed to capitalize, hitting only 57 for the Lumberjacks. Jake slapped a strong 504 for Royal, extending their lead to a more stable mark. Maplewood got 471 from their wily veteran Diddley, but the deficit they faced still grew incrementally. Nightfur's 160 put the Crowns at a final of 1149. Cubby took a measly 32 for the Lumberjacks, leaving them at a loss with 656. Royal earned a 1-0 series lead, and have now won thirteen of their last fourteen road games, a major source of their recent success.
Down south, the Golden Pilots bring in a well-rested Pacific Volcanoes team to the confines of Amazon Field. Starlight led off with 384 for Pacific, a solid number to use as a baseline. Valencia double-tapped an oddly-bowled ball, and it ended up costing her, as the Golden superstar hit just 90 points. Ms. Kitty added on with 545 for the Volcanoes, providing another solid source of offense. Strut posted 283 for the Pilots, leaving them a little further behind. Jack had only 184 for Pacific, a team often considered to be a little imbalanced on offense. Golden, on the other hand, is quite balanced, as evidenced by their third hitter, Dusty, drilling 659 to pull them back into the game. Leonette batted only 169 to put the Volcanoes at 1282 for their final score. It worked out to be enough, as A. Charlton hit 225 for the Pilots, leaving them narrowly short at 1257. Pacific managed to pull out a 1-0 series lead in what appears to be living up to its billing as a close series. It must be said: the Volcanoes are on a five-game winning streak in the playoffs so far.
The last of this round's first games comes from HP Field, where the Eastside Sharks host the Central Warriors. Twilight chipped 260 to open for Central, showing a bit more confidence than she did in the first round. Graham did slightly better for Eastside, providing the hosts 304 points to take a small lead early in the game. Gizmo had a meager 69 for the Warriors, allowing his team to slip a bit. Chelsea notched 120 for the Sharks, keeping the game uncomfortably close. Noelle batted 148 for Central, but they could have done better with a little bit more. Taylor Swift failed to cash in for Eastside, managing just 106 points as her first-round yips appear to have transferred over. Dustin swatted 183, leaving the Warriors at 660, forcing the hosts to produce something. Robyn failed to do that for the Sharks, taking a 50% penalty and producing just 12 points after that was assessed, allowing her team to fall with 542. Central got lucky to grind out an early win, taking a 1-0 series lead as things look grim for three of the four teams with home-field advantage.
I hope to play again tomorrow night, but no guarantees. We will see what time I am provided to work with.

Cricket: Round 1 Game 7s
Two series went the distance, and conveniently enough, the winners of the next two games will go on to play each other in the quarterfinal match at the bottom of the bracket. Leading off the decisive games, we head to...
HP Field, as the Eastside Sharks host the Pronger Tridents. Strawberry picked a bad time to have her lowest score of the round, posting 226 for Pronger to begin the festivities. Graham capitalized with a strong 367-point effort for Eastside, giving them a modest lead after a player each. Hoot took a costly mistimed swing and ended up with only 192 points for the Tridents, digging them a bit of a hole. Chelsea chipped 401 for the Sharks, adding onto their early lead. Paps showed off strong batting skills in hitting 503 for Pronger, giving them a slight advantage. Taylor Swift again slipped, putting up only 204 for Eastside and making the game extremely close by league standards. It wasn't close enough for the Tridents, as Precious likely just signed her own release form by stumbling to 45 points, leaving her team at 966 in the season-ending loss. Robyn finished off the Sharks win with 244 for a total of 1216. Eastside somehow found their way to the quarterfinals, winning the series 4-3. The #2 ranked Sharks await the winner of the next game as their new opponent.
The other decisive game comes far to the north, as the Central Warriors host the Web City Spiders at Nestle's Warriors Park. Shadow's road curse continued in the most untimely of fashions for Web City, as their captain had just 6 points to lead the game off. Central's de facto captain fared far better, as Twilight posted a massive 869 in a clutch performance. Rainmane swung 240 for the Spiders, which put a small dent into the deficit. Gizmo belted another 431 for the Warriors, who finally appear to have it all figured out. Sugar made that look even more certain, as she hit a meager 21 for Web City, who are resigned to being eliminated at this point. Central showed no mercy as Noelle ripped 657 to extend the lead to an absurd level. As if a comeback wasn't already unlikely enough, Dominic incurred a 50% penalty for a false start, and ended with 68, putting the Spiders at 335. Just as a side note, Web City scored a total of 1228 over their last three games, all losses to squander a 3-1 series lead and enter the depths of elimination. The Warriors' fan favorite Dustin hit 160 to put them at 2117, making it official that they had advanced. Central came from two games down to win 4-3 in the series, and they will face a disorganized Sharks team in the quarterfinal round.
Just as a primer for the next round, here are the matchups: #1 Whitewater Shores VS #8 Southridge Defenders; #12 Maplewood Lumberjacks VS #13 Royal Crowns (the Cinderella series); #3 Golden Pilots VS #6 Pacific Volcanoes (the Generational Battle); #2 Eastside Sharks VS #7 Central Warriors. The first game of each series will be in the next post, likely to hit your screens before the clock strikes midnight for me.

Cricket: Round 1, Game 6s
Only four of the eight first-round series made it this far, but the four that did promise to be pretty competitive in this set of games. We begin in...
Todavía, as the Stills host the Southridge Defenders at Apple Park. Boots tripped up again at the unfriendly grounds, hitting only 63 for Southridge to open the evening. Easter made the misstep look not so bad, as she had her own for Todavía with a contribution of 32 points. J. Garcia continued a recent run of strong play, hitting 575 to get the Defenders on track. Sierra also had only 32 for the Stills, making their chances of surviving look very slim. Debby Ryan crushed an additional 866 for Southridge, solidifying an already-strong lead. Sparkles chipped a disappointing 52 for Todavía, almost certainly sealing their fate. Shaggy supplied 115 to give the Defenders 1619 total. Leonardo scored 200 for the Stills after earning a voluntary, non-penalized replay, but this only put the hosts at 316 in a demoralizing home defeat for elimination. The Defenders take the series 4-2, winning three straight after dropping to 2-1 following Game 3. Southridge, as if they hadn't battled hard enough already, are tasked with opposing the Whitewater Shores in the quarterfinals.
To the east, the Royal Crowns welcome the Boston Swifts to Kraft Crowns Park. Patches was stalled at 240 for Boston after a bad deflection she had no control over ended her efforts. Frosty continued her mammoth efforts for Royal, this time clocking in with 1326 for the hosts, establishing a massive lead. Puff II wiped all of it away, and then some, by posting a resilient 1496 for the Swifts, turning this regional battle into an all-out war. Sydnee made the game virtually tied by hitting 408 for the Crowns. Gradley batted 230 for Boston, giving his team a little breathing room. Jake slapped 434 for Royal, reestablishing a lead for the hosts. Sweetheart sliced 193 for the Swifts, and it cost them the game, as they ended at 2159. Nightfur took a 50% penalty, but the Crowns secured the series anyway with a final score of 2265. Royal advances to face the Maplewood Lumberjacks in the quarterfinals after a 4-2 series victory. The road-proven #13 Crowns will begin their next series on the road against the #12 ranked Lumberjacks.
We now head north, where the Web City Spiders bring in the Central Warriors to the Home Depot Forum with the chance to advance. Twilight stepped up with 474 for Central, flashing a sign of leadership in the process. Shadow couldn't get set up for Web City, taking 23 after the pitch got sloppy in front of him. Gizmo had just 128 for the Warriors after a bad bounce squandered what appeared to be a promising effort. Rainmane suffered through hitting 65 for the Spiders. The hosts do not look comfortable in this game at the midpoint. Noelle ended up with 154 for Central after she was assessed a 50% penalty for her false start. Sugar grabbed 208 for Web City to pull them a little closer in the game. Dustin's 336 gave the Warriors a final of 1092, which looks set to hold up. Dominic faltered with 96 for the Spiders, confirming victory for the visitors as the Spiders ended at 392. With the win, Central has rallied from two games down to tie the series at 3, forcing a Game 7 at home.
Wrapping up the slate of Game 6s, the Pronger Tridents host the Eastside Sharks at Tridents Park, sponsored by Ford. Graham belted 392 for Eastside, even after a technical glitch left his wicket out in the path of the bowled balls. Strawberry countered with an explosive 752 for Pronger, giving them a measurably large lead. Chelsea hit 368 for the Sharks, keeping the game close in the short-term situation. Hoot slipped up with just 90 points for the Tridents, leaving them a bit vulnerable. Taylor Swift grabbed 245 for Eastside, although they wouldn't have minded if she gotten a little more. Pronger was more than okay with her modest total though, as it allowed Paps' 490 to extend the lead for the hosts to a more comfortable margin. Robyn managed only 248, costing the Sharks the game as they finished behind with 1253. The Tridents iced off their victory at 1485, of which 153 points came from Precious at the end. This series too shall go to a Game 7, as Pronger tied it at 3 with their second straight win. This has proven to be quite the challenge for the #2 ranked Sharks, who did tail off a bit at the end of the regular season.
Since we have multiple games, I'll put the Game 7s in a new post soon to follow. This can be done because this is a simulator, so travel, time, and distance are not factors. Yes, that is the power of imagination at work!
