The finale of the penultimate week of the season is here, and we begin this segment with...
Samsung Whitewater Stadium, Whitewater: The Shores come into this game to close a four-game home stand, while the Tridents end a three-game road trip. Pronger got off to an awful start, as their captain Precious produced a terrible 38 to open the game. Bear could have done better with more pace, but he churned out a strong 672 for Whitewater to give them the initial lead. Zach performed well with 399 for the Tridents, denting the deficit slightly with the appearance. Twinkie III recovered most of that damage, but her need to go to a backhand shattered her pace before she exited at 369 for the Shores. Spot countered with another 400 for Pronger, with the hopes that the hosts will slip up soon. Marsell did just the opposite for Whitewater, belting 1002 to extend their lead late in the game. Potter couldn't save the Tridents, his 528 leaving them at 1365 in a tough loss to take at this point in the season. Shaggy tacked on another 604 for the Shores at the end, bringing their final score to 2647 in a big win. Whitewater clinches their playoff spot at 38-25, while Pronger dips to 35-31, falling into a dangerous area.
Subway Field, Stonebridge: The Wolves are set to begin their final pair of home games, while the Specters hope to continue a five-game road winning streak in their final pair of road games. Sydney put a bit too much on her final swing, putting it high out of play to end on 209 for Harrison. Juno answered well with 414 for Stonebridge, doing her part to give the hosts a noticeable lead. Twinkie II hauled in 416 for the Specters on the second attack, enough to cover the deficit for now. Frosty got beat by a pacey offering, which she tried to backhand but flicked out of play, her 209 leaving the Wolves down by two points at the midway mark. Lexi had trouble getting her swing in line for Harrison, taking a meager 52 on her turn. Cobalt blew the hinges off the door for Stonebridge, crushing 1056 on his turn to give the hosts a massive lead late in the game. Sugar took only 287 for the Specters at the end, sealing their loss at 964 total. Prism tapped 113 for the Wolves to make a quick finish as they won with 1792 overall. Stonebridge rises to 27-40, while Harrison is 28-40 on the year.
Home Depot Forum, Web City: The Spiders are essentially playing to stay alive, while the Shores can rest easy despite starting a grueling four-game road trip. Bear set quite the unfriendly tone for Whitewater, pummeling 807 at the start of the game to stake out a lead for the visitors. Shadow fought back with even more strength for Web City, as the captain drilled 927 to put the hosts ahead. Twinkie III didn't back down for the Shores, striking back with 913 in this frenetic game. Ted buckled under the pressure to respond big for the Spiders, his 139 putting them far behind at the halfway point. Marsell eased up slightly for Whitewater with his 379, but their lead remains strong at this point. Shiny made minor progress for Web City, knocking 408 on her turn, but they needed more as they head into the final players' turns far behind. Shaggy attacked with great pace for the Shores, only slipping a little before closing her turn at 590 for a final score of 2689. A bad bounce cut Dani off at 375 for the Spiders, resulting in their losing final of 1849. Whitewater rises again to 39-25, while Web City's playoff hopes take a massive hit as they fall to 33-35.
The Intel Pitch, Diamond: The Gems play their home finale here to start a doubleheader, while the Surfers look to solidify their positioning in their road finale. Watermelon led off in great form for Pearl with 733, putting them ahead by a nice margin at the start of the game. Smokey got lured into a backhand attempt for Diamond, and the next offering quickly downed him at 419, putting the hosts behind initially. Neopolitan didn't have much for pace for the Surfers, but she managed to shovel 365 to maintain their lead well. Citrus hit a measly 66 for the Gems in response, deepening the deficit against them. Boots countered with a big 784 for Pearl on her turn, providing the visitors a nice extension to their lead. Pedey tried to keep Diamond in the fight with his 608, but they still lost ground with a player each to go. Wings put an exclamation point on the result for the Surfers with 980, bringing their final to 2862. Rosalina failed to do a backhand when called upon, ending at 280 to leave the Gems with 1373 in the loss. Diamond's home schedule ends at 11-24, and they are 21-47 overall, while the Surfers end their road schedule at 17-18, and move to 36-31 on the year.
Google Pitch at Union Ground, Modernistic: The Union close their home schedule and their season in this meeting with the Gems, who finish the doubleheader by starting their last pair of road games. Smokey wasted no time in establishing the Diamond offense with his 695, a strong turn from the captain. Ms. Puppy fell with only 218 for Modernistic, leaving them at an early deficit. Citrus weakened the Gems' lead with a paltry 155 on her turn, unable to build her pace up in the appearance. Daisy fired back with a massive 898 for the Union, giving them the lead in the middle of the game. Pedey replied with 739 for Diamond on his turn, restoring a decent lead for the visitors. Puff I couldn't clear one particular ball from the pitch, and it ended up halting her turn at 81 for Modernistic, who are behind again. Rosalina left the door wide open with a measly 66 for the Gems, putting their final at 1655. Strawberry came up short with 209 for the Union, leaving them at a loss with 1406. Diamond is now 22-47 for the season, while Modernistic ends the year at 36-34 total and 20-15 at home.
Henry Ford Memorial Stadium, Pronger: The Tridents can thin the playoff herd with a win in their return home, facing the Tradewinds in their road finale. Tigerette led off in strong form for Commerce with 503, giving them a nice lead at the start. Precious paced Pronger with a better score, lining 672 on her opening turn to give the hosts an advantage early in the game. Ice Cream managed 240 for the Tradewinds, doing enough to lightly cover the deficit in this appearance. Zach kept things perfectly steady with 240 for the Tridents, maintaining their lead at the halfway mark. Lionel launched a nice counterattack for Commerce, rallying with 623 to cover the deficit better this time. Spot failed to regain the lead for Pronger, falling with 144 as they fall behind with a player each to go. Lorde wrangled up another 432 for the Tradewinds on her turn, icing their offense at 1798. Potter couldn't meet the challenge with 388 for the Tridents, leaving them at 1444 in the loss. Commerce keeps the dream alive for two other teams, as they rise to 33-36, with a 16-19 road record, and Pronger dips to 35-32 with the loss.
Nissan Infinity Stadium, Infinity: The Torpedoes begin their final three-game home stand, all against non-playoff teams, beginning with the Lumberjacks in this one. Fluffina opened in decent form for Maplewood, scattering 372 on the first turn to establish her team. Smudge did well on the counterattack for Infinity, tallying 706 to pull the hosts ahead after the first turns. Diddley didn't let the Lumberjacks stay behind for long, firing back with 569 to keep the game competitive. An unfortunate bounce would end Solaris' turn suddenly at 608, but the Torpedoes built up the lead a bit. Bryant just scraped together enough to cover the deficit again with his 424 for Maplewood, but they're struggling to keep up. Whiskers didn't flinch at all, cranking out 650 for Infinity to extend their lead again. Waluigi forced the hosts to respond with his 765, his late season surge continuing as the Lumberjacks end at 2130. Mr. Snowman nearly got all of that back with 744 for the Torpedoes, and more than enough to give them the win with 2708. Infinity rises to 37-30, while Maplewood sinks to 20-46.
Kraft Crowns Park, Royal: Neither team has anything to play for in the Crowns' home finale and the Cascades' second of a four-game road trip to close out their travels this year. Jasmine had an impressive backhand and a lucky bounce for Freedom, but a lack of pace kept her down at 211 on the first turn. Nightfur went big for Royal in response, smashing 998 with a few heavy swings and one nearly miraculous backhand before her exit. Stinky tried to fight it off with 386 for the Cascades, but that just dented the deficit. Jake lost a bit of ground for the Crowns with his 287, but their lead is still healthy. Roxy pulled Freedom closer with a strong outing, scoring 432 to cut into the deficit again. Kayla successfully held off that attack for Royal, slicing 519 to pad their lead a bit more as the final players come to bat. Nikolai pulled in 359 for the Cascades, but they took the loss with a final of 1388 this time. Hannah put a nice cap of 416 on the top of the win for the Crowns, with their final at 2220. Royal is now 26-42 overall, with a 10-25 home record in a tough season, while Freedom drops to 23-44.
Chevrolet Field, Everton: The Eagles wrap up a pair of home games this time, facing the Gems, who are ending their lost season on the road with this game. Smokey pounded a crisp 702 for Diamond to lead things off in great form one more time. Goldy had another crooked result at home for Everton, starting their offense from a position of weakness as she scores only 80 points. Citrus managed only 129 for the Gems, the weak second attack potentially making them vulnerable. Puff III just about covered the deficit with 730 for the Eagles, making things close halfway through the game. Pedey followed Citrus with another 129 for Diamond, assuredly putting the visitors in danger of losing their lead. Kirstin ran a good turn of support for Everton, batting 572 to put them ahead with a player each to go. Rosalina contributed 376 for the Gems, but they took the loss at 1336 total to end their season on a sour note. Blizzard continued a great run of form with 697 to ice the Eagles win at 2079 total. Everton is up to 35-33, tightening the playoff race, while Diamond sinks to 22-48 overall and 11-24 on the road.
UPS Ground, Maplewood: The Lumberjacks' misfortune-plagued home schedule ends here, facing a Pilots teams jockeying for position near the top of the table. Valencia appeared to break out of her road slump a bit with 388 for Golden to open the scoring in this game. Fluffina kept the game very close after the initial turn, striking back with 383 for Maplewood to minimize the damage. Dusty matched her captain exactly, doubling their offense with 388 for the Pilots. Diddley slipped up a bit for the Lumberjacks, dropping off the pace at 319 to put them behind a bit at the midway point. Strut tried to pull off a deflection on his backhand for a high-arcing ball, but he tipped it too low, and ended at 304 for Golden. Bryant broke the scoring open wider for Maplewood, firing 616 to give them a lead late in the game. A. Charlton covered the deficit with 425 for the Pilots, bringing their final score to 1505. Waluigi couldn't build a rally this time, ending on 64 for the Lumberjacks to give them a loss with 1382. Golden is up to 45-24, while Maplewood moves down to 20-47, with a home record of 11-24.
BMW RockDome, Westside: The Rockers are looking to stay in the fight for first place, while the Stills jockey for position lower in the standings in their road finale. Easter wasted no time in making a big attack for Todavía, unleashing 786 to give the visitors a firm foundation. Misty couldn't match the pace for Westside, taking a decent 407 to keep her team at a healthy offense. Sierra tried to play like her captain, but while she had the pace, her placement failed her to end her turn at 240 for the Stills. Goatee took advantage of the opportunity for the Rockers, chipping 479 to dent the deficit at the halfway mark. Sparkles mitigated that damage pretty well with 424 for Todavía, keeping the visitors in control. Midnight got Westside within a single-digit margin of deficit, slapping 560 to make things close near the end of the game. Bells fired back with 668 for the Stills in a massive finish to bring them to 2118 total. Slinks tried to rally for the Rockers with 542, but she leaned back on her last swing, and the hosts lost at 1988. Todavía is now 39-30, with a road record of 18-17, while Westside sinks to 43-23.
Microsoft Pitch, Del Sur: The Week 34 finale is here, with the Monarchs ending a pair of home games and the Shores playing their second of a four-game road trip. Bear pelted 546 for Whitewater in a quick attack to lead off the scoring this time. Panda kept things very close, only betrayed by a late backhand that kept his score at 544 for Southern, leaving the rest of the rosters to figure this one out. Twinkie III played pretty well in the second attack for the Shores, adding 472 to their offense. Hoppy faltered when a ball came in high and fast, ending her turn when she missed the swing to score 319 for the Monarchs. Marsell kept Whitewater in great form with his 682, extending their lead quite nicely with the effort. Pounce fought back with 407 for Southern, but the deficit remains sizable as the final players come to bat. His daughter, Shaggy, had only 240 for the Shores, but she iced their score at 1940 total. Shannon put in a good challenge with 534 for the Monarchs, leaving them at 1804 total in the loss. Whitewater rises to 40-25 on the year, with a busy week to go, while Southern is down to 29-37.

The middle segment of the week is ready to go now, beginning with...
Sprint Pitch, Victoria: The Spurs are at home for a game this time, taking on their Southwestern rivals, the Blades, who play their final road game and final division game. Snowball couldn't get any lift on her swings, taking a pitiful pace farther than usual to score 251 in the opening turn for Swordpoint. Spice answered with a pathetic 21 for Victoria, continuing her home slump of atrocious form. Dreamy had a decent combination of pace and placement at first, only slipping late as she added 527 to the Blades lead. Yekaterina just edged the Spurs ahead at the midway mark with an excellent 759. Bandit did fairly well in reclaiming the lead for Swordpoint with his 471, giving them another chance in front. B. Chapman covered the entire opposing offense to this point with a massive 1519 for Victoria, likely securing a win for them. Stealth crashed out at 30 for the Blades, leaving them in a bad loss with 1279. Wario got caught trying to be fancy with his swing, which set him down at 144 as the Spurs win with 2443. Victoria rises to 32-35, and 5-5 in the division, while Swordpoint is 44-25, 7-3 in the division, and 19-16 on the road.
Samsung Whitewater Stadium, Whitewater: The Shores play their second of a four-game home stand in a busy stretch of the season, while the Sharpshooters appear in their road finale. Chris got beat on a difficult deflection, which he hit a bit too hard to end his turn at 336 for Capital City. Bear was just a split-second too late on his backhand attempt, ending with 468 to give Whitewater a modest lead. Missy did pretty well with 384 for the Sharpshooters, covering the deficit but not by a whole lot. Twinkie III had a rough turn, launching her third hit too high to end at 21, giving the Shores the deficit at the middle of the game. Sprinkles charged forward with 532 for Capital City, extending their newfound lead quite well. Marsell also faltered for Whitewater with a pitiful 64, furthering the deficit with a player each to go. Nicole's recent surge in form continued at the end of this game for the Sharpshooters, as her 765 gave them a total of 2017. Shaggy had to take a replay for a technical error, and ended with a measly 25 as the Shores crumbled to a loss with 578. Capital City's road campaign ends well, with their record at 34-35 overall and 16-19 on the road, while Whitewater is down to 37-24.
AT&T Oceanside Stadium, Oceanside: The Waves continue to hang around the bubble, while the Wolves look to play spoiler in this game. Juno put up a good performance for Stonebridge at the start of the game, lining 487 to establish a healthy amount of offense. Snuggle fired back with a big attack for Oceanside, raking in 885 to give the hosts the initial lead in a competitive start. Frosty had to go to her backhand for a save, but couldn't pull another ball back from the brink, ending on a mediocre 222 for the Wolves. Caitlin gave the Waves a small boost on her turn with 384, adding modestly to their lead. Cobalt made some progress against the deficit with 419 for Stonebridge, but they remain behind. Celestia ceded ground for Oceanside after getting two parts of her backhand right but messing up the third to end at 294. Prism went big on her counterattack for the Waves, her 883 setting their final score at 2011 to force a response from the hosts. Dewey carried the Waves with 511 individually, giving them 2074 in the win. Oceanside stays alive at 35-33, while Stonebridge is down to 26-40 with the loss.
Nike Field, Commerce: The Tradewinds hope to be spoilers as they return home to face the Spurs, who are playing their road finale with a small glimmer of hope for the playoffs. Tigerette fought back with 636 for Commerce, keeping the score close in the early going with a strong performance. Yekaterina slipped up in attack for the Spurs, her 231 crippling their lead. Ice Cream was ruthless in punishing that mistake, slapping 671 for the Tradewinds to put them ahead at the halfway point. B. Chapman managed 327 in response for Victoria, not enough to cover the deficit facing the visitors. Lionel had a surprising lack of pace for Commerce on his turn, adding just 275 to their slightly smaller lead. Wario pulled out of his backhand too soon for the Spurs, ending on 248 to leave them in a loss with 1511. Lorde added only 224 for the Tradewinds, sealing their win at 1806. Commerce succeeded in the spoiler role, rising to 32-36, while sending Victoria to the same record. The Spurs also closed their road schedule at 16-19.
Microsoft Pitch, Del Sur: The Monarchs are in action to begin a pair of home games, while the Flames play the third of a four-game road trip. The road trip appears to be wearing down Queens captain Crystal, who had only 128 to start their offense this time out. Panda slugged 1079 in response for Southern, using the hefty first attack to stake out a large advantage early in the game. Paige had another rough performance on the road, taking a meager 66 this time for the Flames. Hoppy also went big for the Monarchs, crashing her way to 762 to extend their lead halfway through the game. Violetta got a bit too much bat under her swing, ending abruptly with just 39 as Queens appears set to take a brutal loss. Pounce's recent struggles with home form persisted this time, as he tacked on only 130 for Southern, who are cruising without the extra help. Max brought his turn to a quick end with 148 for the Flames, who leave the coast frustrated with only 381 total in an embarrassing loss. Shannon rallied for 611 more for the Monarchs, who won with 2582 overall in a great game. Southern rises to 29-36, while Queens slips to 36-32 with the loss.
Samsung Whitewater Stadium, Whitewater: The Shores are ready to continue their home stand in its third game, facing a lowly Crowns side making a one-off road appearance. Nightfur got tangled up trying to save a ball on her backhand for Royal, unable to stop the next offering before it ended her turn at 171. Bear took full advantage of that turn by floating 840 for Whitewater in response to give them a large lead. Jake covered the deficit with 859 for the Crowns, showing that they can compete with top teams. Twinkie III barely regained a lead for the Shores with a painful 194, giving them a tiny advantage. Kayla put in a tougher challenge for Royal, hammering 1046 to put them far ahead this time. Marsell couldn't build up much pace against his former team, but he lasted long enough to get 465 to cut into the deficit. Hannah tapped just 159 for the Crowns at the end, leaving them with a final score of 2235. Shaggy tried to reply with 344 for the Shores, but they came up short with 1843 in the loss. Royal pulled off an upset to get to 24-42, while Whitewater's busy finish to the year is catching up with them as they fall to 37-25.
Verizon Field, Pacific: The Volcanoes play their last home game in this meeting with the Flames, who wrap up a four-game road trip to end their road schedule. Crystal did well to reverse her recent road slump, scoring 471 for Queens to give them a stable foundation to build on. Starlight played aggressively and it didn't work out, as the Pacific captain fell with 128 to put her side behind at the start. Paige also cracked the code to better performances, striking 487 this time to boost the Flames lead with a second attack. Ms. Kitty couldn't even cover that wave of damage for the Volcanoes, exiting the game with 392 on her turn. Violetta boosted Queens even more, drilling 688 to extend their lead in a big way with her excellent turn. Leonette produced just 259 for Pacific, running up the white flag as the deficit appears too big to overcome. Max bumped 384 for the Flames on his turn, ending their offense at 2030. Queens is up to 37-32, going 21-14 on the road this year, while Pacific is 25-10 at home and 47-21 overall, just a half-game ahead of second place.
HP Field, Midland: The Predators' Southeastern Division finale is against the Swifts, who close out their road schedule in this high-stakes battle. Patches had a rough opening turn for the visitors, grabbing a mild 233 to get Boston started in the game. Shawn did enough to put Midland ahead initially, corralling 392 on his turn to create the small lead. Puff II gave the Swifts a much stronger second attack, blasting 918 to pull them ahead this time with her excellent appearance. Rainmane bounced 447 for the Predators on her turn, unable to cover the deficit at the midway mark. Gradley knew as soon as he put a second touch on his swing that it was too much, ending his turn as it flew high to score 240 for Boston. Leonardo charged back for Midland with a great rally of 622, putting them in the lead with a player each to go in this crazy game. Sweetheart had only 162 for the Swifts, leaving them with 1553, forcing a small response from the hosts. Fuchsia didn't make it pretty, but she chipped 261 to give the Predators a win at 1722. Midland is up to 41-26, and 6-4 in the division, while Boston sinks to 46-22, 4-6 in the Southeast, and 28-7 on the road.
Cisco Tysini Field, Tysini: The Hummingbirds have relished the spoiler role recently, and they look to make things tough for the Warriors as they pay a visit. Twilight provided a very potent opening attack for Central in this game, lashing 684 to stake out a strong advantage for her team. Princess scooped up 560 in response for Tysini, keeping things close early in the game. Dustin just couldn't figure out his swing for the Warriors, ending with a middling 225 as their lead weakens. Leandra punished that mistake without pity, pummeling 756 for the Hummingbirds to give them the lead. Mario couldn't fix things for Central on his turn, hitting a poor 120 as the deficit grows larger. Charli got stuck with a ball on her backhand that she couldn't send away, ending her turn early at 168 as Tysini maintains a decent lead. Gizmo couldn't produce a rally for the Warriors, his 256 sealing the loss for the Warriors at 1285. Brownie tacked on 368 more for the Hummingbirds, icing their win at 1852 overall. Tysini's strong play spoils another team's efforts, and they rise to 28-38 while bumping Central down to 39-28 with the loss.
Kraft Crowns Park, Royal: The Crowns try to be spoilers again as they start their final pair of home games, against the Volcanoes, who have just a pair of road games left. Starlight got off to a laughable start for Pacific, hitting just 18 points after an errant backhand and virtually no pace. Nightfur made quick work of that mistake, slashing 619 to put Royal far ahead after the first turns. Ms. Kitty struggled quite a bit with control for the Volcanoes, bowing out at 416 after a chaotic turn. Jake let the lead slip ever-so-slightly for the Crowns with his 360, but they still have control halfway through. Leonette poked 321 for Pacific on her turn, unable to produce more as the deficit remains firm. Kayla let a ball slip underneath her bat for Royal, and it got to the stumps to take her out at 169, weakening their lead. Chicky Phil blew his chance to be a hero for the Volcanoes, posting a pathetic 115 as the Volcanoes lose again with 870 overall, a pitiful output. Hannah pounded another 696 at the end for the Crowns, sealing their win at 1844. Royal's upset tour continues, getting them to 25-42, while Pacific slips again down to 47-22.
McDonald's Pitch at Pirates Park: The Pirates' season finale sees them host the Arrows, who also close their season, in the A-Line Derby. Sally had a pitiful start with only 28 for Archtown this time, leaving the visitors vulnerable immediately at the start. Delila didn't exactly instill confidence in Atlantic with her 291, but the hosts have the initial lead. Sleepy B. couldn't cover the deficit with her 216 for the Arrows, keeping them behind after the secondary attack. Isabella got a lucky deflection on her turn to keep going, and she eventually stopped at 408 to extend the Pirates lead nicely. Ruby stormed forward on a rally for Archtown, until a deflection cut her turn off at 513, but she did cover the deficit. Americus tried to use her backhand twice, and made an early mess of her turn, which ended at a measly 40 after the play failed for Atlantic. When Dusky missed a ball, she took herself out of the game with 560 for the Arrows, bringing their final score to 1317. Klaus tried to rally for the Pirates, but his 351 was not enough, and they took the loss at 1090. Archtown's surprising win ends their season at 18-17 on the road and 34-36 overall, while Atlantic went 38-32 overall and 16-19 at home.
Volkswagen Stadium, Viewpoint Sound: The Meteors have a chance to damage the Spiders' playoff chances, with the Meteors' home finale ending this segment. Web City got off to another sterling start with the offense coming from Shadow, who ripped another 675 to lead things off this time. Mams fired back with a big 769 for Viewpoint Sound on her attack, putting the hosts narrowly ahead. Ted had no trouble in covering the deficit for the Spiders, lining 650 to restore a smaller lead. Hoot dropped off the pace with just 64 for the Meteors, unable to keep their offense going as they fall behind at the midway point. Shiny left the door open for Web City, poking 206 in a poor outing under pressure. Nibbles covered about half of the deficit with 375 for Viewpoint Sound, leaving a mild deficit with a player each to go. Dani added 361 for the Spiders at the end, bringing their final to 1892. Dominic went on a rally with 512 for the Meteors, but he came up short as they lost with 1720 overall. Web City is now at 33-34, while Viewpoint Sound is 27-41 overall and 16-19 at home.
That's it for the action today. We'll be back tomorrow to put a wrap on Week 34.

Tigerette fought back with 636 for Commerce, keeping the score close in the early going with a strong performance. Yekaterina slipped up in attack for the Spurs, her 231 crippling their lead.
Puff II gave the Swifts a much stronger second attack, blasting 918 to pull them ahead this time with her excellent appearance. Rainmane bounced 447 for the Predators on her turn, unable to cover the deficit at the midway mark.
Debby had a good backhand to briefly extend her turn before falling with 338 in a low-pace appearance for the Defenders. Jennifer chipped the Knights back into the fight with her 579, closing the gap a bit. Her younger sister showed her up, as Southridge's Stephanie restored the lead with her 591 in a strong appearance. Southridge ends the season on a high note at 27-43, but only 12-23 on the road, and Terrace City dips to 37-30.
HP Field, Midland: The Predators are back home for a pair of games, while the Tridents play their second of a three-game road trip in this battle for positioning. Precious couldn't handle a persistent distraction for Pronger, crashing out at just 74 points on the opening turn. Shawn took full advantage of the opportunity, crushing 1071 to put Midland far ahead after the first turns. Zach countered with 432 for the Tridents in a solid attempt to mitigate the damage done against his team. Spot made a good response with 750 for Pronger, but the deficit remains large against the visitors. Leonardo had only 160 for Midland on his turn, the poor quality of play excused given the large lead the hosts enjoy. Fuchsia choked the game away with an errant double hit that produced only 8 points, and the Predators lost with 2079 total. Pronger's surprising comeback gets them to 35-30, while Midland is 40-26 now.
Samsung Whitewater Stadium, Whitewater: The Shores begin a stretch of 11 games in two league weeks, while the Spurs play three of the next four games, all to end a five-game road trip. Bear did enough with his 448 for Whitewater to put the hosts ahead initially by a small margin. Yekaterina had an unusually weak turn for the Spurs with just 87, barely covering the deficit. Twinkie III showed off a powerful swing but a lack of longevity for the Shores, adding 350 to their offense. B. Wario didn't impress much with 309 for the Spurs, leaving them at 1225, which will force the hosts to respond. Shaggy chipped a mild 208 for the Shores, but they earned the win at 1253. Whitewater rises to 37-23, while Victoria is down to 30-34 on the year.
Cisco Tysini Field, Tysini: The Hummingbirds are back home for a pair of games, while the Spurs wrap their doubleheader up with the fourth of a five-game road trip. Spice tried to keep Victoria going well, but her 333 leaves them feeling a bit disappointed as the scoring woes persist. Princess couldn't clear a ball off of her backhand in time to make contact with the next one, ending at 560 in a strong start for Tysini. Yekaterina's road slump continued to a new low with only a pitiful 28 for the Spurs this time. Leandra lost control of her swing at the end, but she hauled in 405 to extend the Hummingbirds lead. B. Chapman lost more ground for Victoria on her turn, scoring a mediocre 234 as the game gets out of hand. Charli had a strong and positive outing for Tysini on her turn, churning her way to 558 to pad the lead once again. Amazon Field, Golden: The Pilots end their home schedule for the season when they host the Spurs, who are closing a five-game road trip in this appearance. Spice finally made her big breakout with 688 for Victoria to lead off in this game, setting them up for success throughout the game. Valencia tried to keep it close for Golden, striking 512 in a good response despite the early deficit. Yekaterina didn't do as well for the Spurs, hitting 352, but she's broken out of the deepest part of her road slump. Dusty made very marginal progress with 377 for the Pilots, shrinking the deficit very slightly. B. Chapman gave the Victoria lead a bit more strength on her turn, slicing 488 to pad the lead at a critical point in the game. Strut took a very awkward swing at a ball just out of his range, which he poked up and out of play to end on a meager 81 for Golden. Wario failed to make a big impact for the Spurs, taking 256 to put them at 1756 for the game, which require the hosts to do some work. A. Charlton made a valiant effort with 599 for the Pilots, but they took the loss at 1569 overall. Victoria's upset moves them to 31-35, while Golden is 44-24, and finishes 21-14 at home for the year.
Capital City SuperCenter, Capital City: The Sharpshooters hope to keep their playoff dream alive, but the Spiders want to keep theirs going and spoil their hosts' chances at the same time. Capital City rises to 33-35, still in the playoff hunt, while Web City sinks to 30-34 with the damaging loss.

Crystal saw a ball sneak under her bat after a premature swing, and she couldn't save it, falling with 344 for Queens. Jasmine answered with 320 for Freedom, keeping things close despite not covering the deficit this time. Paige had a good appearance going until a ball parked itself dead on the pitch, cutting her pace and crippling her score at 269 for the Flames. Stinky had a couple of fortunate deflections for the Cascades, before stalling at 372 on a bad swing. Violetta got Queens going with more force, launching 915 to pull the visitors distinctly ahead. Roxy answered pretty well with 619 for Freedom, but they remain behind with a player each to go. Max provided 456 for the Flames at the end, icing their offense at 1984. McDonald's Pitch at Pirates Park, Atlantic: The Pirates are home for their last two games, hosting a Union side ending its road schedule and a five-game road trip all at once in a pivotal battle. Ms. Puppy scooped up 330 for Modernistic, choosing to accept that score rather than do a replay for a technical error. Delila belted 1074 for Atlantic on her opening turn, giving the hosts a large lead initially. Daisy slipped with 184 for the Union, barely denting the deficit now facing her side. Isabella actually weakened the Pirates lead with a pathetic 37 on her turn, but they remain ahead at the halfway mark. Puff I saw her pace crater for Modernistic as she went rapidly between forehand and backhand to keep her turn alive before ending at 429. Americus kept Atlantic in firm control of the game, lining 843 after a nearly disastrous start to her appearance. Strawberry slipped up at a measly 21 for the Union, leaving them to lose at 964. Crystal is picking a rough time of the year for diminished road returns, taking only 240 to open for Queens in this one. Ms. Puppy punished Crystal's mistake, carving out a huge 1114 for Modernistic to take the initial lead with. It's looking like a lost game for the Flames, as Paige fell with just 79 points after failing to corral a ball on her backhand. Daisy shot back with 586 for the Union, padding their lead significantly. Violetta tried to make a solid response for Queens, but ended at 456, unable to dent the deficit much at all. Puff I allowed Modernistic to ease up a bit, cruising with 280 as their lead seems quite stable. Max got his bat stuck in the ground, and then his backswing knocked a ball into the stumps to stall him at 527 and end the Flames' offense at 1303 in the loss. Strawberry got a bit excessive at the end for the Union, cranking out 843 to give them 2823 total in the win. Twilight had already committed to swing when a deflection sent a ball out of play to end her turn at only 166 for Central. Ted let the Spiders lead weaken as a deflection also ended his turn at a paltry 57. Dustin got some of it back for the Warriors, but he would have liked more than the 312 he got. Shiny went big for Web City on her turn, boosting their lead by blasting 1084 to make life tough for the hosts. Mario tried his best to keep Central in the fight with 736, but the deficit remains large with a player each to go. A deflection brought down Gizmo at 201 for the Warriors, giving them 1415 total in the loss. Web City stays alive again with the win to get to 32-34, while Central slips again to 39-27 with the loss.
