Viewpoint Sound Meteors at Midseason

The Viewpoint Sound Meteors went through a major overhaul in the offseason. They swapped Zach to the Tridents for Hoot at the draft, and also parted ways with Lexi (Harrison Specters) and Mr. Snowman (Infinity Torpedoes). In to replace them were the hyped rookie Nibbles and the journeyman Dominic, led by unlikely captain Mams, who was last year's worst cricket play but a star in pool. Mams has grown into the role, but the rest of the team has been shaky at 15-20, including a 3-5 record in the Coastal Division. At home, they are 8-12, while they are 7-8 on the road. The Meteors are at about 1598 points per game, a little weaker than they'd like in offense. As mentioned, Mams has grown well, with over 450 points per game, and Hoot offers good support at 430 per game. Unfortunately, Nibbles and Dominic both hover around 360, a respectable but not game-changing mark for a team lacking dangerous scoring threats. All the players are better on the road, especially Mams, but they also all lack explosiveness. Next season, the Meteors are hoping to find a breakout star with a flair for the dramatic to break up the team's current monotony.
