Whitewater Shores at Midseason

The Whitewater Shores have had one of the slowest starts to the season, and at first this was both on the schedule and on the field. The lack of playing time hurt the cohesion between newcomers Marsell and Shaggy, who replaced Cheddar and Wild Thing in the offseason. Now, the Shores are starting to fly, at a 21-14 record, while also going 5-3 in the Urban Division. At home, the Shores are 12-9, while they are 9-5 on the road, a more impressive mark. The Shores hit about 1695 points per game, making their offense a particularly lethal force as well, regardless of venue. Leading the way in scoring is Twinkie III, who had over 450 points per game in a balanced offense. Bear isn't that far behind either, as the captain is about 10 points lighter. Shaggy chips in over 400 a game, and Marsell comes in just under that mark. At home, Twinkie III and Bear have to do most of the heavy lifting, but Marsell and Shaggy are much more comfortable on the road, likely due to their lack of familiarity with Samsung Whitewater Stadium. Regardless, if the Shores can maintain this offense and navigate a busy schedule, they should find themselves in the playoffs.
