Tournament X Qualifiers - Day 27

We're firmly into 15-ball majority time now. Today's first action comes from...

Eastside Sharks rookie Lily, who shoots 15-ball with the blue cue. Lily was a little sloppy with three errors in 27 shots for an acceptable outing. Freedom Cascades veteran Stripes is next for Rotation with the red cue. Stripes dominated early in her game, ending on 20 shots and two errors in the strong outing. Oceanside Waves star Celestia has the purple cue in hand for 10-ball. Celestia scratched on the break for her lone error in 15 shots. Tysini Hummingbirds newcomer Sugar is the 75th player done with qualifying as she shoots Accuracy with the blue cue. Sugar had an error for a scratch, but still finished in 17 shots. Overall, she had 148 shots and 8 errors in a top-tier qualifying run. Today's fifth player is Southridge Defenders newcomer Luigi, who uses the green cue for 15-ball. Luigi took three errors early on and finished at 28 shots in a mediocre performance.

The second group gets going with Web City Spiders newcomer Cubby playing 13-ball with the silver cue. Cubby was a little slow on his late-game positioning, ending on 27 shots and two errors. Capital City Sharpshooters veteran Lorde is the 76th player to complete qualifiers, using the silver cue in Accuracy. Lorde took one error for an early scratch but still finished in 18 shots, for totals of 165 shots and 14 errors. TodavĂ­a Stills captain Easter will go eighth today, using the blue cue for 13-ball. Easter had two errors in the game, but still closed at 19 shots in a resilient showing. Everton Eagles newcomer Vincent is set to play Rotation with the blue cue. Vincent showed strong control and took only one error in a solid 26 shots. Boston Swifts veteran Ice Cream takes us into the lunch break with the purple cue in 13-ball. Ice Cream had one error and 21 shots for the game, turning it up at the end.

When we return, Archtown Arrows stalwart Sleepy B. plays Accuracy with the red cue as the 77th player done with qualifying. Sleepy B. needed only 17 shots to complete the game, giving her 167 shots and 8 errors in total. Infinity Torpedoes veteran Shelley is the 78th player done with qualifying, as she uses the silver cue in Accuracy. Shelley took one error for missed contact in her 20 shots, and ended with 199 shots and 19 errors overall. Modernistic Union third-year Kodiak is next for 12-ball with the red cue. Kodiak missed contact early on for his lone error, but still ended in 18 shots. Eastside Sharks rookie Maison is the 79th player to finish qualifying, using the green cue in Accuracy. Maison needed 18 shots and no errors in the game to put his totals at 175 shots and 9 errors. At the back of the batch, Pronger Tridents veteran Potter plays Accuracy with the green cue as the 80th player to finish qualifying. Potter was just a step worse at 19 shots and one error in his game. His totals stood at 182 shots and 21 errors.

Group four begins with Viewpoint Sound Meteors star Princess shooting Accuracy with the purple cue as the 81st player done with qualifying. Princess scratched on the break, and a late fade pushed her up to 18 shots for the game. Overall, she had 185 shots and 21 errors. Freedom Cascades star Roxy draws in for 15-ball with the silver cue. Roxy kept the 15 in her sights late, sinking it at 18 shots despite taking three errors earlier. More 15-ball awaits for Stonebridge Wolves newcomer Kirstin, who will use the red cue. Kirstin kept it under control mostly with 23 shots and two errors in the game. The 19th game today is Boston Swifts veteran Ice Cream shooting Rotation with the silver cue. Ice Cream knocked the rack down in 26 shots and no errors, a solid showing. Capital City Sharpshooters veteran Missy wraps up this group with the blue cue in 15-ball. Missy had a hot start, then took two errors before cooling to 25 shots.

Southridge Defenders star Bianca leads off group five with the red cue in Rotation. Bianca finished in 26 shots with one error, a late fade the only reason she wasn't better. Oceanside Waves rookie Megan shoots 15-ball with the purple cue. Megan had a couple of errors early on, but hard hits eventually led to the 8-15 combination going to the top-left on a kick for 21 shots. Lighton Prestige captain Acorn has the red cue in hand for 12-ball. Acorn took no errors in the game but still needed 23 shots to finish. The Union's Kodiak is back for his second game today, using the purple cue in 13-ball. Kodiak had a couple of errors and some struggles positioning, needing 25 shots to finish the outing. Atlantic Pirates newcomer Dusky draws in for 13-ball with the blue cue. Dusky was crisp, needing only 19 shots without an error in this appearance.

Commerce Tradewinds veteran Niki opens the sixth set with the green cue in 12-ball. Niki was in total control, taking just one late error in her 17 shots. Another 12-ball game features the Oceanside Waves' Josie with the blue cue. Josie had a tougher distribution from the start, but she took no errors in 24 shots. The Pirates' Dusky gets a second game today, using the silver cue in Rotation. Dusky was okay despite some tough positioning, ending with 27 shots and two errors. The Swifts' Ice Cream gets her third game in the league's 29th game of the day, using the blue cue in 15-ball. Ice Cream was able to finish in 25 shots with two errors in a reasonably good game. Atlantic Pirates rookie Buddy rounds out this group with the purple cue in 13-ball. Buddy was pretty good, needing 20 shots and two errors to get through his appearance.

The 31st game today sees Southern Monarchs captain Panda finish qualifying 82nd by speed with the purple cue in Accuracy. Panda kept it clean with 15 shots and no errors. Panda needed 169 shots and 5 errors overall during his qualifying run. Capital City Sharpshooters veteran Sprinkles plays 13-ball with the blue cue. Sprinkles had one error in 25 shots, with positioning near the end slowing her down quite a bit. More 13-ball follows as Atlantic Pirates hotshot Isabella plays with the green cue. Isabella had some really stupid decisions in her game, including an overfill and illegally potting the 8 early, but she still finished in 23 shots despite her seven errors. Next up, Swordpoint Blades veteran Bandit shoots Rotation with the purple cue. Bandit picked up three errors, showing a little shakiness in his 28 shots. Closing the group, Boston Swifts veteran Gradley gives the green cue its last 9-ball look. Gradley had a good break that led to a 2-9 combination to the bottom left to end in 2 shots with no errors.

Group eight starts with Victoria Spurs veteran Strawberry playing Accuracy with the red cue as the 83rd player to finish qualifying. Strawberry had a rough go, needing 21 shots with one error to finish. She had 189 shots and 15 errors overall. Today's 37th game features the Cascades' Stripes with the purple cue in 15-ball for her second appearance of the day. Stripes was aggressive, but took three errors and faded to 27 shots at the end. Diamond Gems newcomer Debby is 84th to complete qualifiers, using the silver cue in Accuracy. Debby took no errors in her game, but loose shooting led to 21 shots. Debby had 168 shots and 10 errors during her qualifying run. Moving along, Modernistic Union veteran Daisy shoots 15-ball with the blue cue. Daisy was sloppy with four errors in her 30 shots. The Defenders' Bianca gets her second game of the day in 15-ball with the silver cue. Bianca was pretty fast, but three errors pushed her to 25 shots in the end.

The ninth group kicks off with Puff I of the Modernistic Union shooting Accuracy with the red cue as the 85th qualifying finisher. Puff I closed out in 16 shots with no errors, a strong showing. She had 174 shots and 7 errors overall. Lighton Prestige veteran Shiny also finishes qualifying with Accuracy and the silver cue, the 86th player to do so. Shiny was unstoppable, with a fortunate final bounce putting her at 14 shots for the game and 177 shots with 14 errors during her whole qualifying run. Diamond Gems newcomer Salmo is up for Rotation with the green cue in today's 43rd game. Salmo struggled late in the game, inflating his score to 32 shots and five errors. Tysini Hummingbirds newcomer Hughbert also plays Rotation, but with the blue cue. Hughbert ripped through the rack in 21 shots and even had time for one error. Victoria Spurs captain Spice ends this set with the green cue in 13-ball. Spice got a little awkward at the end, but still finished with 23 shots and one error.

Westside Rockers enforcer Midnight keeps the green cue active for Rotation. Midnight was very fast despite her three errors, closing with 21 shots. Commerce Tradewinds captain Tigerette will shoot 15-ball with the red cue here. Tigerette was lucky early on, then took three errors and closed the effort in 24 shots. The red cue stays active as Dreamy of the Swordpoint Blades does Rotation. Dreamy was too slow in her attack, taking just two errors in her 31 shots. Pearl Surfers veteran Bright goes 49th today with the purple cue in Rotation. Bright needed 28 shots with two errors to complete the outing, unable to sustain his hot start. Golden Pilots veteran Strut ends the day in Rotation with the blue cue. Strut was dominant from end to end in 22 shots with one error, a great finishing performance for a solid day.
