Tournament X Qualifiers - Day 29

Today's the last day with a 15-ball majority segment before we transition to the final phase of qualifying. Today's action begins with...

The Harrison Specters' Rudolph, who shoots Rotation with the blue cue after closing yesterday's games. Rudolph too often settled for contact plays, ending up with 33 shots despite taking only two errors. Swordpoint Blades captain Snowball also plays Rotation, but with the red cue. Snowball was very good at first, then faded a bit late to end on 21 shots and two errors. Royal Crowns mainstay Jake also uses the red cue for his Rotation appearance. Jake had four errors in his turn, then finished in 27 shots. Westside Rockers captain Misty keeps the red cue active for 12-ball. Misty kept herself composed in the mid-game, ending on 22 shots with only one error. Stonebridge Wolves youngster Hershey will play fifth today, using the silver cue in Rotation. Hershey tried to play well, but lucky bounces paved his way early on, and he needed three errors in 26 shots by the end of the game.

Southern Monarchs veteran Mams is the 95th player to finish qualifying as she plays Accuracy with the silver cue. Mams was pretty good with 16 shots in the game, for totals of 167 shots and 10 errors. Golden Pilots veteran Strut will end his qualifying 96th by speed with the purple cue in hand for Accuracy. Strut was not very sharp early on, and he would need 20 shots with no errors to finish. Overall, he had 159 shots and 10 errors during qualifiers. Oceanside Waves third-year Josie shoots 13-ball with the purple cue. Josie illegally potted the 8 early, resulting in five errors, but a strong finish put her at 23 shots anyway. Viewpoint Sound Meteors veteran Dani shoots Rotation with the blue cue in today's ninth game. Dani held her own with 26 shots and just one error in a decent outing. Pearl Surfers veteran Bright will end the group with the red cue in 15-ball. Bright played smart early on, then brought heat to close in 22 shots with two errors.

The third group gets going as Infinity Torpedoes newcomer Fuchsia plays 12-ball with the red cue, it's last turn in the event. Fuchsia had one error for an overfill, but finished in 22 shots in a strong game. Victoria Spurs captain Spice gets the 12th game of the day, using the purple cue for 15-ball. Spice had a lightning-fast start, but got sloppy later and took two errors to finish in 22 shots. Southridge Defenders star Bianca will shoot accuracy with the red cue as the 97th player to complete qualifiers. Bianca had one error in 19 shots in a one-dimensional turn. She finished qualifying with 190 shots and 21 errors. Capital City Sharpshooters mainstay Missy shoots Accuracy with the blue cue as the 98th player to finish qualifying. Missy was good early on and closed in 17 shots with no errors, for totals of 176 shots and 12 errors overall. Rounding out the batch, Tysini Hummingbirds newcomer Hughbert has the silver cue in Accuracy as the 99th qualifying finisher. Hughbert needed 18 shots in the game to finish with 171 shots and 9 errors overall.

The fourth group starts with Queens Flames newcomer Pauline using the green cue in 13-ball. Pauline had a wonderful start with stripes, but solids hung her up to 24 shots and one error. Up next, Swordpoint Blades mainstay Dreamy shoots 15-ball with the purple cue. Dreamy kept the 15 close but couldn't work onto it, needing 27 shots and three errors to exit the game. Southridge Defenders newcomer Lize draws in for 13-ball with the blue cue in today's 18th game. Lize was dominant from the start, but one error pushed her back to 15 shots. After that, Stonebridge Wolves rookie Jane plays Accuracy with the blue cue as the 100th player to finish qualifying. Jane had a fairly standard game with 18 shots and one error, for totals of 191 shots and 18 errors during her run. Wrapping up the group, Diamond Gems newcomer Salmo is on for 15-ball with the red cue. Salmo couldn't find traction early on, taking three errors, and his frenzied finish left him with 39 shots.

Terrace City Knights veteran Oreo goes 21st today as the 101st qualifying finisher, and she'll use the green cue in Accuracy. Oreo scratched on the break and wasn't sharp enough later on, taking 21 shots in the game. She had 183 shots and 18 errors overall. Modernistic Union sophomore Sydney C. keeps the green cue active for 9-ball. Sydney C. was clean with her performance, needing only 11 shots. Web City Spiders veteran Waluigi is ready to go with the silver cue in Accuracy, the 102nd player to end qualifying. Waluigi tried to get cheeky late in his game and ended up with 22 shots and one error. He had 158 shots and 11 errors in a good run overall, poor finish notwithstanding. Up next, Pearl Surfers veteran Boots has the silver cue up for Rotation. Boots did well, striking the ball early on and taking three errors later to help her close at 23 shots. Eastside Sharks rookie Toki ends the group as the 103rd qualifying finisher, playing Accuracy with the red cue. Toki slipped up early on, needing 19 shots to clear the rack, giving him totals of 165 shots and 6 errors.

The sixth set opens with Victoria Spurs newcomer Rosalina shooting 13-ball with the purple cue. Rosalina was an absolute mess in positioning, playing to 34 shots and two errors. Westside Rockers veteran Chimpy is next for 15-ball with the green cue. Chimpy made a mess of his finish, needing 33 shots and three errors in the unimpressive outing. Another 15-ball game is on the way for the Crowns' Jake, as he uses the purple cue for his second appearance today. Jake was dominant, taking just one error in 19 shots in an excellent showing. Boston Swifts veteran Ice Cream is the 104th player to complete qualifiers, using the blue cue in Accuracy. Ice Cream picked up one error in 20 shots in a somewhat questionable finale. She had 163 shots and 9 errors in total. Finishing the batch, Viewpoint Sound Meteors newcomer Cobalt is 105th to finish qualifying, using the green cue for Accuracy. Cobalt took two errors and shakily finished at 22 shots, a recurring theme of poorer Accuracy games today. Overall, he had 187 shots and 15 errors.

Group seven kicks off with Midland Predators newcomer Chicky Phil playing 15-ball with the purple cue. Chicky Phil finished in 24 shots with three errors in a solid performance. Tysini Hummingbirds sophomore Sarah gets the 32nd game today, using the silver cue for 13-ball. Sarah held her own pretty well, taking 23 shots with two errors to finish the game. The Defenders newcomer Lize is back for a second game today, using the purple cue in Rotation. Lize had a decent start, but unraveled to 29 shots with four errors by the end. Commerce Tradewinds veteran Niki is ready to go with the purple cue in 13-ball. Niki attacked solids relentlessly after a great break, ending in 17 shots with one error. The last 9-ball qualifier belongs to the Todavía Stills' Ruby, who will use the red cue. Ruby did alright with 13 shots and one late error.

The eighth group begins with Swordpoint Blades youngster Bandit shooting Accuracy with the purple cue as the 106th player done with qualifying. Bandit closed at 16 shots and no errors. He had 172 shots and 15 errors in total. The 37th player called today is Diamond Gems captain Shadow, who shoots Rotation with the blue cue. Shadow was satisfied to take no errors, but he was slow to finish with 25 shots after a hot start. North Modernistic Nighthawks star Gal shoots 12-ball with the green cue next. Gal showed plenty of confidence in her skills, ending in 17 shots with no errors. Harrison Specters newcomer Dewey will try his hand with the silver cue in 15-ball. Dewey started with great pace, then took one error and coasted to the finish at 23 shots. Royal Crowns newcomer Katelynn also uses the silver cue in 15-ball to close the group. Katelynn had a wretched start, then found her groove and wound up double-potting the 4-15 combination to top left to end on 17 shots and two errors.

Modernistic Union veteran Kodiak leads off the ninth group with the silver cue in hand for Rotation. Kodiak looked very much in control with 22 shots and no errors in this outing. Whitewater Shores newcomer Smokey ends his qualifying 107th by speed, using the green cue in Accuracy. Smokey held steady with 18 shots and no errors in the game, for totals of 169 shots and 9 errors overall. Pronger Tridents captain Precious follows with Accuracy and the silver cue as the 108th qualifying finisher. Precious zipped through the rack in 16 shots, ending her qualifying run at 157 shots and 7 errors. Todavía Stills captain Easter goes next, using the green cue in Rotation. Easter made a pair on the break and converted the rest of the rack in 20 shots with three errors. Golden Pilots veteran Sparkles is the 109th player to end her qualifying run, using the blue cue for Accuracy in today's 45th game. Sparkles completed the game with no errors in 18 shots, and her qualifying numbers ended at 187 shots and 13 errors.

The final group is here, with Web City Spiders newcomer Nibbles using the red cue for Accuracy as the 110th player to finish qualifying. Nibbles closed at 19 shots and no errors in the game, for overall numbers of 159 shots and 9 errors. Boston Swifts mainstay Sweetheart picks up the purple cue to shoot 13-ball. Sweetheart tried to get too cute with positioning, taking her lone error before buckling down to end in 23 shots. Freedom Cascades veteran Roxy goes 48th today, the 111th player to complete qualifiers as she shoots Accuracy with the silver cue. Roxy rattled off 17 shots and no errors in the game for totals of 154 shots and 7 errors. Commerce Tradewinds superstar Taylor S. plays 13-ball with the silver cue next. Taylor S. kept it clean in 23 shots, navigating an occasionally tricky game quite nicely. Today's finale features the Todavía Stills' Sierra playing 15-ball with the blue cue. Sierra had a rough game, needing four errors and 32 shots after her lousy break.
