Tournament XI Qualifiers - Day 22

We're back for another day of games, hopefully as strong as yesterday. First up...

Central Warriors star Dustin shoots 15-ball with the green cue. Dustin started hot but faded later on in the game, ending with 27 shots and no errors. Maplewood Lumberjacks captain Diddley is next up with the blue cue in 13-ball. Diddley had a strong performance in this outing, taking no errors in 20 shots as everything lined up well. Capital City Sharpshooters veteran Sprinkles uses the silver cue in Rotation. Sprinkles had a productive turn, taking two errors but still finishing in a solid 26 shots. Going 4th today, Modernistic Union veteran Puff I plays 13-ball with the red cue. Puff I played well despite one error early on for a scratch. She finished on 23 shots after a slight skid. Pacific Volcanoes mainstay Ms. Kitty shoots Rotation with the purple cue to end the group. Ms. Kitty made a pair on the break and had no trouble after that, playing smart in 22 shots with no errors.

Maplewood Lumberjacks veteran Vladimir uses the green for Rotation to front group two. Vladimir posted three errors in 26 shots, struggling at one point with positioning. Southern Monarchs sophomore Molly is ready to go in 15-ball with the blue cue. Molly was frustrated with four early errors and no clear line to combine on the 15 at the top left. She eventually settled for 28 shots. Central Warriors veteran Graham grabs the red cue for 13-ball. Graham had four balls down on the break, making it even more tough to see him take two errors to get to 24 shots as positioning on his last stripe was difficult. Southridge Defenders captain Bianca is up 9th today, using the green cue in 12-ball. Bianca gambled on a bad cut with her score already in trouble, and that led her to finish at 33 shots and five errors when she butchered it. Archtown Arrows veteran Sleepy B. finishes the group with the purple cue in 15-ball. Sleepy B. had a poor outing, needing 34 shots and two errors to finish after an awful ending stretch.

Group three begins with Lighton Prestige sophomore Angelica using the green cue in 12-ball. Angelica had a solid outing with 23 shots and two errors. Terrace City Knights veteran Oreo will play 15-ball with the red cue. Oreo managed to clear the table in 32 shots and two errors despite the 15 hanging around multiple pockets. Freedom Cascade veteran Andrew is up next with the red cue in Rotation. Andrew took three errors for some rough positioning, but finished at 27 shots in the game. Modernistic Union captain Ms. Puppy keeps the red cue active for 12-ball. Ms. Puppy had no trouble in her appearance, closing with 16 shots and no errors. Going 15th today, Royal Crowns sophomore Sunshine plays Rotation with the green cue. Sunshine flew through the outing in 20 shots with only one error for a scratch.

The fourth group leads off with Eastside Sharks sophomore Maison using the red cue in 10-ball. A couple of unlucky errors pushed Maison up to 16 shots for the game. Lighton Prestige veteran Shiny steps in with the red cue in 12-ball. Shiny was crisp on offense, needing just 17 shots and no errors to clear the table as positioning worked in her favor. Westside Rockers veteran Goatee is 18th to shoot today, using the blue cue in 13-ball. Goatee had three errors in her game, but her overall play was good at 23 shots. Pearl Surfers veteran Bright follows with the silver cue in 15-ball. Bright kept his eyes on the prize, taking one error in 18 shots as he finished with a 7-15 combination to the bottom right. North Modernistic Nighthawks star Gal shoots 15-ball with the green cue to end the batch. Gal had a slow start and two errors early on, then found a groove to finish on 27 shots.

Batch five gets going as Diamond Gems veteran Leonardo uses the red cue for Rotation. Leonardo plowed through the rack with three errors in 24 shots. More Rotation is in today's 22nd game with Archtown Arrows veteran Hoppy using the blue cue. Hoppy had a double-error early on but cruised through the rest of the game, ending in 24 shots. Victoria Spurs captain Spice is next with the silver cue in 13-ball. Spice held her own, getting a couple of lucky bounces to end at 23 shots and two errors. After that, Zenith Skywatchers sophomore Omari shoots 10-ball with the red cue. Omari wasted a hot start and took one error before closing on 17 shots. Apex Wonders rookie Blair ends the group with the red cue in 12-ball. Late positioning held Blair back with two errors and a lot of set-up work before he exited on 23 shots.

Going 26th today, Oceanside Waves sophomore Megan breaks out the red cue in 15-ball. Megan started slow and took two errors in the game, but a late surge helped her to 26 shots. Archtown Arrows newcomer Cubby takes up the green cue for Rotation. Cubby had a couple of errors early on, but he was pretty sharp overall to end in 23 shots. Midland Predators veteran Chicky Phil keeps the green cue up in 15-ball. Chicky Phil couldn't maintain his hot start, taking one late error before finishing in 26 shots. Viewpoint Sound Meteors captain Hoot enters the action with the blue cue in 10-ball. Hoot couldn't find an angle early on, and eventually took two errors in 22 shots. At the back of the group, Whitewater Shores mainstay Twinkie III uses the red cue in 15-ball. Twinkie III stormed through the rack, making a pair on the break and finishing with 19 shots.

The seventh set kicks off with Atlantic Pirates sophomore Buddy playing Rotation with the green cue. Buddy had a decent outing, taking a couple of errors early on before settling in to score 23 shots. Whitewater Shores rookie Rachel gets the 32nd game today, using the purple cue in Rotation. Rachel kept good positioning and took what she was given for 22 shots and one error. Maplewood Lumberjacks veteran Summer plays 13-ball with the red cue next. Summer had fairly good positioning throughout her game, taking no errors in 22 shots. Everton Eagles captain Goldy also plays 13-ball, but with the green cue. Goldy had a bit of a slow start and ended up with two errors in 25 shots. Everton Eagles newcomer Panda wraps up the group in 15-ball with the red cue. Panda made a perfect play to end on 1 shot, cutting the 1 to the top side and getting the deflection on the 15 off the 2 and into the bottom left on a double-pot. He had no errors.

The eighth group starts with Tysini Hummingbirds star Sugar using the purple cue in 15-ball. Sugar danced through danger and deflected a shot off the 2 to sink the 15 at the bottom side for 10 shots and no errors. The 37th player drawn today is Apex Wonders captain Midnight, who plays 13-ball with the red cue. Midnight somehow avoided errors, clearing the rack in 24 shots in an acceptable performance. The fourth player done with qualifying is Lighton Prestige captain Acorn, who shoots Accuracy with the silver cue. Acorn ended the game poorly with 23 shots and one error. He had 177 shots and 13 errors in total. Maplewood Lumberjacks sophomore Marissa is up next, using the green cue in Rotation. Marissa didn't have the best start, and a couple errors dragged her down as she finished with 27 shots. Southridge Defenders newcomer Stripes rounds out the group with the blue cue in Rotation. Stripes played aggressive and took just one error in 23 shots for another strong performance.

Group nine opens as Atlantic Pirates veteran Dusky shoots 15-ball with the green cue. Dusky had a bad break with a lack of spread, leading to four errors in 29 shots for her game. Tysini Hummingbirds captain Leandra follows with the silver cue in Rotation. Leandra sank three balls on the break and didn't cool down after that, finishing with 19 shots and no errors. The 43rd player today is Atlantic Pirates hotshot Isabella, who plays 13-ball with the green cue. Isabella had no errors and good positioning to produce 22 shots for the game. Viewpoint Sound Meteors star Princess keeps the green cue active in 12-ball. Princess could have made a mess of her finish, but she closed with a kick to the top side to end on 21 shots and two errors. Queens Flames veteran Pauline seals the group with the blue cue in Rotation. Pauline had to navigate some tricky plays, ending in 26 shots with one error.

The final group commences with Modernistic Union veteran Sydney C. playing 13-ball with the blue cue. Sydney C. had some good positioning and the skill to capitalize on it for 18 shots and no errors. Southern Monarchs captain Pounce checks in for 15-ball with the purple cue. Pounce had a fantastic start, then cooled off with one error and 24 shots. Harrison Specters newcomer Puff II jumps in with the red cue in 10-ball. Puff II had no hesitation early on, striking early and often to close at 13 shots with no errors. Lighton Prestige star Citrus takes up the blue cue for Rotation in today's 49th game. Citrus was a little sloppy with two errors in 27 shots during her turn. Ending the day, Tysini Hummingbirds newcomer Slinks also shoots Rotation with the blue cue. Slinks had a poor outing with four errors in 30 shots as she lost control of the ball a few times.

A mostly excellent day is in the books. We'll be back tomorrow as we continue through the difficult events.
