Expect the qualifying finishes to ramp up as we approach the home stretch. We've got a handful of stragglers as well. Today's action gets going with...

Pronger Tridents captain Precious playing 15-ball with the blue cue. Precious took two errors early on for illegal contact, but a 7-15 combination to the bottom left bailed her out at 11 shots. Southern Monarchs captain Pounce is the 15th player done with qualifying as he shoots Accuracy with the silver cue. Pounce cleared the table in 18 shots and no errors, giving him totals of 153 shots and 9 errors overall. His sister, Westside Rockers newcomer Snowball, is up for Rotation with the purple cue. Snowball made two balls on the break, but her game fell apart on the 4. She took four errors and ended up with 31 shots. Stonebridge Wolves strongman Hershey keeps the purple cue active for 12-ball. Hershey kept a good command, although he had one error for illegal contact. He ended with a solid 18 shots. At the end of the group, Web City Spiders newcomer Wild Thing plays Accuracy with the blue cue, the 16th qualifying finisher. Wild Thing had no errors in 17 shots in the game, and his totals were 152 shots and 10 errors.

The second group starts with Southridge Defenders newcomer Stripes playing 15-ball with the green cue. Stripes did well throughout her game, but faded a little late to 27 shots and one error. Golden Pilots captain Valencia keeps the green cue going in 13-ball. Valencia attacked relentlessly this time and ended with 16 shots and no errors. Chris ended up at 19 shots and one error after a hot start, and his totals were 185 shots and 14 errors. Pearl Surfers veteran Wings goes 13th today, using the silver cue in 15-ball. Wings needed just 7 shots with one error to finish this outing, as his play on the 4 set the 15 loose to the top left. Commerce Tradewinds newcomer Bear is next, using the purple cue in Rotation. Bear was more skid than surge, as a strong middle was all he had in 31 shots with one error. Finishing the group, Zenith Skywatchers veteran Bells plays 13-ball with the blue cue. Bells had a disaster of a game with 36 shots and three errors added to her ledger.

The 16th player called today is Terrace City Knights rookie Anna, who also uses the blue cue in 13-ball. Anna did well until she sank the 8 illegally for five errors, which pushed her up to 27 shots. More 13-ball follows for Infinity Torpedoes star Fuchsia, who uses the green cue. Fuchsia had all the control in the world to end with 20 shots and one error in a good game. Atlantic Pirates sophomore Buddy brings the blue cue back to action in 15-ball. Buddy had four errors, including one double when he aimed at the wrong ball and sank it. The sophomore finished in 29 shots in a poor effort. Westside Rockers veteran Chimpy is next up with the purple cue in Rotation. The eighth group leads off with Terrace City Knights veteran Jennifer using the green cue in 13-ball. Jennifer didn't do so well with 30 shots and two errors, struggling to get clear positioning. Her sister Stephanie of the Swordpoint Blades gets the 37th game today, using the silver cue in 15-ball. Stephanie had four errors, frustration playing a large role in her needing 26 shots to finish. Klaus was excellent with only one error for illegal contact while clearing the table in 18 shots. The 45th player of the day is Whitewater Shores rookie Rachel, who uses the purple cue in 15-ball. Rachel had some good plays early and slowed down late, taking one error in 26 shots.

Sometimes good and sometimes fiery, we're 25 days in. More action awaits tomorrow.
