We're back for another day of qualifying, which will see the league enter the Accuracy majority phase near the end of the day. First up...
Lighton Prestige veteran Nicole plays 15-ball with the red cue. Nicole started well with a pair of balls on the break, but it all fell apart on the 12. She ended with 33 shots and five errors, frequently missing contact on cut shots. Pronger Tridents sophomore Lize takes the second game of the day, using the silver cue in Rotation. Lize excelled with two balls on the break and only two errors in 21 shots. Todavía Stills captain Easter goes next, using the red cue in her Rotation appearance. Easter made a ball on the break and took no errors, but needed 28 shots to complete the outing. More Rotation awaits for the Southridge Defenders' Bianca, who also uses the red cue. Bianca was a little less clinical, with 28 shots and three errors after an empty break. Bianca was drawn again to end the group, playing 15-ball with the silver cue. Bianca posted 26 shots and two errors, again taking an empty break to start the appearance.
Group two kicks off with Capital City Sharpshooters veteran Lorde playing 13-ball with the silver cue. Lorde made a ball on the break and held on to finish with 24 shots and one error in a solid outing. Swordpoint Blades captain Snowball steps in for 15-ball with the blue cue. It was anything but a clean game, as she had six errors over 28 shots after getting a ball on the break. Back in 13-ball, Stonebridge Wolves captain Juno plays with the silver cue. Juno made two balls on the break and took only one error over 22 shots in a very strong appearance. Maplewood Lumberjacks veteran Gabe goes ninth today, playing 15-ball with the red cue. Gabe was loose with his shooting, taking four errors after making a ball on the break, but he made a nice finish and closed at 21 shots. His ball on the break validated breaking data for the event. Closing the batch, Terrace City Knights veteran Oreo plays Rotation with the silver cue. Oreo made a ball on the break, and while she did take four errors, two with intent, she completed the game in 25 shots.
Eastside Sharks star Chelsea becomes the 98th player to finish qualifying, heading group three with her Accuracy appearance with the red cue. Chelsea showed strong command, closing in 16 shots with no errors after an empty break. She finished with 175 shots and 18 errors overall. Everton Eagles captain Goldy is on for 15-ball with the blue cue. Goldy made good use of a pair of balls on the break, ending her game in 20 shots with only one error. Infinity Torpedoes newcomer Hughbert is the 13th player drawn today, using the silver cue in Rotation. Hughbert couldn't make anything while playing clean, and took eight errors to sloppily end at 41 shots after an unfortunately empty break. Archtown Arrows newcomer A. Charlton plays 15-ball with the blue cue in the next game. A. Charlton made a couple of balls on the break and took two errors in 26 shots for a decent game. Westside Rockers newcomer Chimpy plays Accuracy with the red cue at the end of the group, making him 99th to finish qualifying. Chimpy was humbled by an empty break and 23 shots to complete the effort, ending with 169 shots and 15 errors across all of his qualifiers.
The 16th player called today is the Sharpshooters' Lorde, making her second appearance with the silver cue in Rotation. Lorde went empty on the break and took five errors over 34 shots, as Rotation has become a troublesome event today. Victoria Spurs star Yekaterina tries 13-ball with the red cue. Yekaterina was livid by the end of the game, which required eight errors and 32 shots after an empty break. She's right back in action, as Yekaterina was drawn to play Rotation with the blue cue in the next game. Yekaterina did better, with only four errors in 23 shots after making a ball on the break, but she faded from what would have been a legendary performance. Tysini Hummingbirds newcomer Vincent keeps the blue cue in action for 13-ball. Vincent made a ball on the break and kept going, although the loose shooting that's come to define this difficult day made him take five errors for 22 shots. Finishing this group, Royal Crowns captain Nightfur tries 15-ball with the silver cue. Nightfur needed only 23 shots with three errors despite an empty break, showing good control and power on her shots.
The fifth set opens with Shawn of the Midland Predators doing Rotation with the silver cue. Shawn was struck down with nothing on the break and six errors over 30 shots to get out of another bad game. Southern Monarchs newcomer Salmo finally closes out 9-ball with the silver cue in hand. Salmo couldn't break the day's slump, needing 17 shots with two errors even after making a ball on the break. The silver cue stays in action in the 23rd game of the day, which has the Oceanside Waves' Josie playing Rotation. Josie made a mess of the game after an empty break, needing 32 shots with only two errors. The Hummingbirds' Vincent returns to make his Rotation appearance with the blue cue. Vincent made a ball on the break and stayed error-free over 19 shots in an excellent game, showing why the blue cue is today's favored stick. Frosty rounds out the bunch with the 100th qualifying finale, playing Accuracy with the blue cue. Frosty needed 20 shots with no errors after an empty break, putting her qualifying totals at 153 shots and just 8 errors.
The sixth group starts with Diamond Gems newcomer Shadow playing 10-ball with the silver cue. Shadow did what he could with an empty break and two errors, ultimately needing 19 shots in a loose effort. Overall, she used 168 shots and 16 errors in her qualifying sessions. Another qualifying finale follows as the Archtown Arrows' Dusky plays Accuracy with the red cue as the 102nd finisher. Dusky went empty on the break and required 19 shots to finish the appearance, taking no errors. Dusky's qualifying totals were 182 shots and 9 errors. Stonebridge Wolves sophomore Hershey also uses the red cue in Accuracy as he will finish qualifying 103rd by speed. Hershey also went empty on the break and added one error in his 17 shots. Hershey totaled 150 shots and 12 errors in qualifying. Wrapping up the group, Tysini Hummingbirds captain Leandra shoots 15-ball with the blue cue. Leandra made quick work of this game, going empty on the break but firing off a 2-15 combination into a crowd, which deflected the 15 back to the top side to end her turn at 2 shots and no errors.
Group seven gets going as Twinkie III of the Whitewater Shores does Accuracy with the blue cue, the 104th player to finish qualifying. Twinkie III had nothing on the break and 17 shots in an error-free finale, closing her qualifiers with 173 shots and 12 errors. Eastside Sharks veteran keeps the binge going, using the silver cue in Accuracy as the 105th player to complete his sessions. He also had an empty break with no errors, but his game required 21 shots. Cubby finished 198 shots and 16 errors. Moving along, Everton Eagles veteran Cleo is 106th to finish qualifying as she plays Accuracy with the blue cue. Cleo had the best of the finishes yet, with three balls on the break and 13 shots to complete her qualifiers with 172 shots and 13 errors. Boston Swifts captain Patches gets the league out of finishing mode, playing 13-ball with the silver cue. Patches didn't help herself much on the break, but she kept control with only two errors in 28 shots. Completing the bunch is Roxy of the Freedom Cascades, who will try 15-ball with the silver cue. Roxy salvaged the game with 29 shots and four errors after a narrowly empty break.
Web City Spiders veteran Jack leads group eight with 15-ball and the silver cue. Jack defied the day's trend, making a ball on the break and ending in 22 shots with only three errors. Acorn needed 19 shots and no errors after a slow start that saw him take an empty break. He finished with 179 shots and 16 errors overall. The Stills captain Easter returns in 15-ball with the silver cue in the next game. Easter saw a reversion to the stick's previous form, needing 34 shots and two errors to close the game out after an empty break. More 15-ball awaits for Pearl Surfers co-captain Watermelon, who will use the red cue in the event. Watermelon played a better game with a ball on the break and three errors over 23 shots, making a majority of her shots look easy. Stinky of the Freedom Cascades concludes this group with 15-ball and the blue cue. Stinky opted to forgo the honorable path, taking five errors and watching his score balloon to 30 shots after an empty break.
The ninth group sees Victoria Spurs newcomer Mitchell play Rotation with the red cue. Mitchell made a ball on the break and suffered only one error in 22 shots, playing quite well in this one. Luigi of the North Modernistic Nighthawks draws in next, using the blue cue in his Rotation appearance. Luigi didn't make a ball on the break, and he added three errors in a reasonable 27 shots. Midland Predators star Rainmane tries to get back on track with the red cue in hand for 15-ball. Rainmane made a pair on the break and took three errors over her 25 shots, her best recent performance. Todavía Stills third-year Prism follows that with the silver cue in hand for Rotation. Prism made a ball on the break and limited herself to two errors in 25 shots for a solid game. The 45th game of the day belongs to the Gems' Shadow, who does 12-ball with the red cue. Shadow made a ball on the break and quickly worked around the table, ending with 16 shots and just one error.
The final group commences with Kodiak of the Modernistic Union playing Accuracy with the blue cue as the 108th player to conclude his qualifiers. Kodiak put in a good effort despite an empty break, taking 18 shots and no errors. He ended with 183 shots and 14 errors across all qualifiers. The Spurs' Mitchell returns for a second game today, using the blue cue in 15-ball. Mitchell did well again, taking a ball on the break and then crashing through the rack in 23 shots with six errors, mostly intentional. Diamond Gems newcomer Leonardo is the 109th player done with qualifying as he shoots Accuracy with the silver cue. Leonardo made a ball on the break, but his quality unraveled in the middle of the game, and he needed 22 shots with no errors to finish. Leonardo totaled 191 shots and 13 errors across all qualifiers. Boston Swifts veteran Gradley is 110th to finish qualifying, playing Accuracy with the red cue. Gradley cranked out a pair on the break, but slipped to 18 shots and no errors for the game and he had 188 shots and 13 errors in his qualifying run.
