We're off to a late start for the last regular day of qualifying before tomorrow's finale, but 50 games will still get played. First up...
Atlantic Pirates captain Delila shoots 13-ball with the red cue. Delila made a ball on the break, but she needed 28 shots and three errors to get through the rest of the game. Maplewood Lumberjacks veteran Gabe is 131st to finish qualifying as he shoots Accuracy with the silver cue. It appears the stick is still sour, as Gabe needed 21 shots and no errors after his empty break. Gabe totaled 184 shots and 17 errors across all qualifiers. Whitewater Shores captain Shaggy is next to shoot, using the blue cue for 15-ball. Shaggy was unable to break out of trouble throughout her game, taking five errors and 30 shots after nothing on the break. More 15-ball awaits the Pronger Tridents' Lize in the fourth game of the day, which she plays with the red cue. Shots came easy for Lize despite her empty break, as she needed just 19 shots and no errors to finish. Modernistic Union captain Ms. Puppy closes the batch with 15-ball and the blue cue. Ms. Puppy didn't make many fans, finishing with 8 shots and three errors on a 2-8-15 combination to the top right from ball-in-hand that she justified as obvious shot.
Kicking off group two, Southridge Defenders veteran Stephanie is the 132nd to complete qualifying with her Accuracy game using the blue cue. Stephanie rarely missed, making two balls on the break and wiping the rack out in 14 shots and no errors. Overall, she had 177 shots and 11 errors to her name. North Modernistic Nighthawks veteran Luigi plays 15-ball with the red cue. Luigi went empty on the break and played too slowly early on, ending at 35 shots and three errors in a poor game. Pirates captain Delila returns for the eighth game of the day, her second, playing Rotation with the silver cue. Delila held her ground after going empty on the break, ending with 27 shots and five errors in a somewhat sloppy game. Moving along, the Royal Crowns' Cassie plays the red cue's last 10-ball game. Cassie made a ball on the break and added two errors in 15 shots. Diamond Gems newcomer Shadow ends the group and his qualifying (133rd by speed) as he plays Accuracy with the red cue. Shadow was rattled by an early error and empty break, sticking him with 23 shots. Overall, he had 156 shots and 9 errors in another strong qualifying campaign.
The third group leads off with Yekaterina of the Victoria Spurs doing 15-ball with the silver cue. Yekaterina rattled off 22 shots with three errors after potting a ball on the break of a good game. Southern Monarchs captain Panda is next, using the red cue for Rotation. Panda fired off 26 shots and two errors in his appearance, getting two balls on the break to help his cause. Another captain, the Midland Predators' Shawn, tries his hand in 15-ball with the red cue. Shawn was recklessly effective in his game, needing only 23 shots but also six errors after potting a ball late on the break. Queens Flames sophomore Briana checks out 134th as she completes qualifying with the blue cue in Accuracy. Briana struggled initially, but calmed down to end at 17 shots and no errors to cover the empty break. Briana ended with 178 shots and 9 errors across all qualifiers. In the day's 15th game, Harrison Specters newcomer Blizzard shoots Rotation with the blue cue. Blizzard got a couple of balls on the break, but she still needed six errors over 26 shots to complete the effort.
Southern Monarchs newcomer Salmo begins the fourth batch with 12-ball and the silver cue. Salmo worked his way to 23 shots and two errors after making a ball on the break, a solid performance for the journeyman. The Pirates' Delila is back for her third game and the 17th overall today, playing 15-ball with the blue cue. Delila did alright with two balls on the break, taking four errors over 25 shots as she got a little sloppy at the end. The Specters' Blizzard gets a short turnaround for her second game of the day, using the red cue for 15-ball. Blizzard ripped the rack down in 22 shots, but didn't take a ball on the break. She ended at one error. The Shores' Shaggy is back as the 135th player to complete qualifying when she shoots Accuracy with the silver cue, making it three-quarters of all players finished. Shaggy went empty on the break and took 18 shots without an error, her qualifying totals resting at 186 shots and 12 errors. Finishing the group, Shaggy's daughter Smudge, the Infinity Torpedoes captain, is 136th to exit qualifying as she shoots Accuracy with the blue cue. Smudge made a mess of her game with lazy misses and two errors in 25 shots after an empty break. She had 161 shots and 11 errors overall.
The fifth group opens with Capital City Sharpshooters veteran Lorde trying her luck in Accuracy with the blue cue as the 137th qualifying finisher. Lorde made a ball on the break and put the rack away in 15 shots with no errors, giving her totals of 153 shots and 9 errors in the campaign. The Tridents' Lize follows with the 138th finale, using the red cue in Accuracy. Lize made a ball on the break, but took one error in a poor 20 shots that saw her lose form a bit. She ends with 160 shots and 9 errors, sparking hope of what she can do in her first healthy season. Blizzard keeps the trend of departures going, the 139th player to finish shooting Accuracy with the red cue. Blizzard started out well despite an empty break, and she had no errors but needed 22 shots to finish. Blizzard's qualifying totals were 185 shots and 18 errors. Maplewood Lumberjacks sophomore Summer steps in for the 24th game of the day, using the silver cue in 15-ball. Summer showed a little skill with two balls on the break, although she did take a pair of errors. Summer finished at 15 shots on an 8-15 combination to the bottom side to cap a dominant run. Rounding out the group, Archtown Arrows captain Sally plays Accuracy with the blue cue as the 140th qualifying finisher. Sally went empty on the break but finished with no errors in 17 shots for totals of 162 shots and 13 errors.
Group six starts as Monarchs captain Panda plays his second game of the day, shooting 15-ball with the blue cue. Panda didn't get a ball on the break, and he mixed in four errors over 29 shots in a solid game. The blue cue stays active for Terrace City Knights veteran Oreo to play Accuracy as the 141st player to complete qualifying. Oreo didn't play around, posting a ball on the break and 16 shots without an error. She closed qualifiers with 157 shots and 14 errors total. Queens Flames newcomer Mario shoots 15-ball with the red cue in the 28th game of the day. Mario notched 33 shots in this game, but also eight errors after getting confused which event he was playing. Victoria Spurs sophomore Sage shoots 12-ball with the silver cue. Sage couldn't get her late positioning right, taking an error and 27 shots despite making a ball on the break. Tysini Hummingbirds captain Leandra wraps up the group and her qualifiers, finishing 142nd as she plays Accuracy with the red cue. Leandra went from great with a ball on the break to 21 shots and one error in the blink of an eye, giving her totals of 157 shots and 16 errors.
The seventh set gets going as Roxy of the Freedom Cascades plays Accuracy with the blue cue as the 143rd qualifying finisher. Roxy's game went bad in the middle, taking two errors and 20 shots after making a ball on the break. In total, she had 163 shots and 15 errors. Spurs sophomore Sage returns for 13-ball with the blue cue in her second game today. Sage made a ball on the break and took 21 shots with just one error to complete the outing. Oceanside Waves sophomore Jason V. makes a long-awaited return, using the silver cue for 13-ball. Jason V. had no issues in his return, making 22 shots and one error after taking a ball on the break. Sharpshooters captain Chris checks out 144th with the red cue in hand for Accuracy. Chris didn't make anything on the break, but he played smart and closed with 18 shots and no errors. Overall, Chris had 162 shots and just 6 errors in a clean run. At the back of the group, TodavĂa Stills veteran Bells shoots Rotation with the silver cue. Bells used errors to her advantage, taking four of them in 25 shots after making a ball on the break.
Group eight is fronted by Central Warriors captain Twilight, who shoots Accuracy with the silver cue as the 145th player to end qualifying. Twilight went empty on the break but took no errors in 18 shots to close with 174 shots and 16 errors. The silver cue goes again in Accuracy for the 146th finisher, the Lighton Prestige's Nicole. She hit three balls down on the break and finished in 14 shots with no errors, tallying 174 shots and 17 errors overall. The big break validated Accuracy's breaking data. Atlantic Pirates third-year Klaus shoots Rotation with the silver cue in the 38th game of the day. Klaus didn't make a ball on the break, and he took four errors in 26 shots in a fairly normal game. Oceanside Waves rising star Celestia puts 10-ball to bed with her appearance in the event with the blue cue. Celestia made the 10 on the break, and would need 19 shots and three errors to complete the effort. Delila seals the group with her fourth game today, playing Accuracy with the blue cue as the 147th player to complete their sessions. Delila made two balls on the break and took no errors in the appearance, finishing at 17 shots. Overall, she had 189 shots and 20 errors.
Lighton Prestige newcomer Shiny gets a look in 15-ball with the red cue. Shiny couldn't get anything from a bad break, but she finished in 23 shots with just one error. More 15-ball follows as another Prestige newcomer, Citrus, shoots in the event with the silver cue. Citrus needed 29 shots with two errors, but she did get a ball on her break. Archtown Arrows mainstay Sleepy B. draws in next, playing Rotation with the blue cue. Sleepy B. started well with a ball on the break, but she ebbed and flowed on offense, ending with 28 shots and three errors. The Monarchs' Salmo returns for his second game today, using the red cue in 13-ball. Positioning failed Salmo near the end, but he closed with 23 shots and one error after striking a ball down on the break. The Waves' Jason V. gets his second game of the day to complete this bunch, playing Rotation with the silver cue. Jason V. didn't get anything from his break, but he completed the game in 26 shots with three errors.
The 46th player called today is the Crowns' Cassie, making her second game of the day in 12-ball with the red cue. Cassie corralled a ball on the break and ended with 20 shots and one error, fading just a little for safety at the end. Harrison Specters veteran Sydney S. jumps in with the silver cue for 15-ball. Sydney S. finished with 23 shots and just one error after getting a ball on the break in a good performance. Pearl Surfers veteran Beth is up next, shooting 13-ball with the blue cue. Beth needed 28 shots with one error after an empty break to finish off her appearance. Union captain Ms. Puppy joins the ranks of the finished 148th by speed as she plays Accuracy with the red cue. Ms. Puppy took an empty break and 20 shots with no errors to finish her qualifying run with 160 shots and 17 errors. Finally, the Victoria Spurs newcomer Mitchell is 149th to finish qualifying with Accuracy and the red cue to finish the day. Mitchell closed with 20 shots and one error after his empty break, giving him totals of 162 shots and 11 errors.
