Premier Cricket, and a majority of 2018's information in cricket and pool, were at risk of being lost today, but the technical difficulties have been overcome. We'll play as much of the schedule as we can, beginning with...
Nestle's Warriors Park, Central: The Warriors have their captain Twilight on the bench for the first game of the week, while their Generations Derby rivals sit A. Charlton for a second-straight game. Valencia's opening turn for Golden came to an abrupt end when a deflection stalled her at 81 points as the last ball skipped over her bat. Dustin was a little better, but a failed backhand led to him falling at 197 for Central. Dusty bounced back with 319 for the Pilots, a slow pace keeping her from scoring better. Mario blasted 880 for the Warriors in return, giving them a confident lead at the midway mark. Strut couldn't get a grip on his turn, taking 259 in a feeble dent in the deficit. Wings provided 471 to keep Central in firm control of the game with another strong outing. Sparkles couldn't stop a ball from hitting the boundary, but its slow roll allowed her to grab 307 as the Pilots lost with 966. Noelle tapped 240 for the Warriors at the end to secure their win at 1788. Central is up to 15-16, while Golden drops to 23-14 with the loss.
BMW RockDome, Westside: The Rockers and Eagles meet twice this week, this being the first of those games. Goatee will sit for the hosts, while Blizzard is on the bench for the visitors. Goldy grabbed 512 for Everton on the first turn, a good start for the visitors. Misty had an unfortunate deflection that stopped her at only 46 for Westside. Puff III shot back with 463 for the Eagles on the second attack, boosting their lead quite nicely. Slinks made a massive rally with 971 for the Rockers, pulling them ahead by a slight margin at the halfway point. Cleo slugged 1163 for Everton in response, giving them an even better lead this time. Midnight couldn't keep up with that attack, falling at 227 for as Westside finds themselves behind again. Kirstin piled on with 502 for the Eagles at the end, bringing their total score to 2640. Cowzart made a move with 575 for the Rockers, but they came up far short at 1819. Everton surges to 16-17, passing the now 17-19 Westside squad.
Blades Fusion ProGlide Park, Swordpoint: The Warriors travel for a one-off game against the Blades. Dreamy sits for the hosts as they close their six-game home stand, while the visitors bench Noelle. Twilight popped 505 for Central right away, giving them a good start to the game. Snowball couldn't get Swordpoint ahead this time, falling with 164 in a poor appearance. Dustin padded the Warriors lead with 337 on his turn, a modest addition for the star. Bandit shot back with a strong 686 for the Blades on his turn, making it a close game at the halfway mark. Mario burst forward with 908 for Central, another fantastic outing for the surging sophomore. Stealth kept Swordpoint in range with 696 on his turn, a productive counterattack. Wings got beat on a deflection at 63 for the Warriors, leaving them vulnerable at a total of 1813. Jason N. secured the win for the Blades with 919 on the final turn, putting them at 2465. The perfect home stand sees Swordpoint rise to 22-15, while Central is down to 15-17.
Apple Park, Todavía: The Stills face a massive challenge as they bring in the Swifts. The hosts will sit Anton, while Ice Cream takes the bench for the visitors this time. Patches pulled no punches for Boston, belting 1970 on the opening turn to give her side a massive advantage. Easter pummeled 750 in response for Todavía, a good game by all measures except for this comeback effort. Puff II kept it simpler with 352 for the Swifts, who are not in any current danger. Sierra had a weak 54 for the Stills this time, making it a bit questionable as to why she was in the lineup. Gradley padded the lead with 675 for Boston, keeping them in control of the game. Bells had a decent 341 for Todavía in this one, but they remain deeply behind. Sweetheart went big with 977 for the Swifts at the end, setting their final score at 3974, very close to records status in a clear victory. Central remains hot at 16-17, while Pacific sinks to 13-22.

Audi Knights Pitch, Terrace City: The Knights begin a critical five-game home stand against the Volcanoes. Starlight sits for the visitors, while the hosts bench Melissa for standard rest. Ms. Kitty couldn't settle in for Pacific with a mere 25 on her opening turn, which leaves them in trouble. Kiwi didn't build her offense on pace for Terrace City, instead persisting until she had 700 to give them a great lead. Twinkie I had a lousy 69 for the Volcanoes, not helping their cause at all. Jennifer had only 148 for the Knights, slowing their pace a bit halfway through the game. Leonette picked up 311 for Pacific, making minor progress against the deficit. Oreo stumbled with 194 as Terrace City lost a bit of ground with a player each to go in a low-scoring battle. Chicky Phil tried to make a rally with 314 for the Volcanoes, but they couldn't recover from the earlier damage, losing with a total of 719. Quincy had a modest 208 for the Knights at the end, securing their win at 1250. Terrace City bounces up to 13-19, while Pacific drops to 13-23 with the loss.
Amazon Field, Golden: The Pilots will sit Strut as they return home, while the Tridents announce Lize will take this game on the bench, but there will be no more easing her into the lineup. Precious had a fine 591 for Pronger to lead things off in great form as the visitors take an early lead. Valencia kept it close with 550 for Golden, a good response on the first turn. Zach accepted 505 for the Tridents on their second attack, choosing to forgo a technical error replay opportunity. Dusty charged back with 575 for the Pilots on her turn, giving them a minor lead at the halfway mark. Spot had the first misstep on either side, falling at a poor 156 for Pronger to leave them vulnerable. Snowball continued to dominate on the road, ripping 886 to establish Swordpoint's offense. Goldy had a pitifully weak 25 for Everton, an early swing getting away from her to create the big deficit. Dreamy struck the hosts with terror in lacing a quick 810 on the second attack to nearly double the lead. Puff III picked up 520 for the Eagles, trying to keep their offense respectable in a tough game. Stealth crushed 1269 for Swordpoint, essentially securing the result in their favor at this point. Blizzard went with 375 for the Eagles, leaving their losing total at 1868. Swordpoint bounces up to 23-15, while Everton falls back to 18-18.

Starlight wasted little time in getting Pacific in a comfortable position with 647 on the first turn. Shawn didn't flinch in slamming 1078 for Midland on their opening turn for the early lead. Twinkie I covered the deficit with 454 for the Volcanoes, but they are in a precarious spot. Rainmane kept close with 407 for the Predators, weakening their lead only a slight amount. Midland rises to 17-17, while Pacific is down to 13-24.
Henry Ford Memorial Stadium, Pronger: The Tridents return home now, sitting Spot in the week 18 finale, while the visiting Predators are without Fuchsia for this game. Shawn posted 689 for Midland, keeping up a hot stretch to give them a nice lead initially. Precious had a decent 463 for Pronger this time, keeping them somewhat close on the first turn. Rainmane fired back with 1125 for the Predators in a pacey and brilliant second attack from the visitors. Zach had a modest 304 for the Tridents, unable to make a meaningful dent in the deficit. Leonardo kept Midland's lead virtually unassailable with 584 more to pad the score in a great outing. Potter put together a decent 416 for Pronger, but they remain deeply behind at this point. Americus tacked on 538 at the end, icing a great game for the Predators at 2936. Lize did well with 554 for the Tridents, but they would lose anyway at 1737. That's all for Week 18. We'll be silent over the weekend for sure, with cricket and potentially Tournament activity on Monday.
