I apologize for the lack on content this week, but it has been a busy stretch of days. That ends today, with at least one segment of the week to be published, starting here with...
Starbucks Cup, Archtown: The Knights have a technical doubleheader, appearing in their second straight league game but nearly a week after the first one. Kiwi had a reasonable performance for Terrace City, posting 377 to open the week. Sally helped Archtown bounce back into the lead, striking 539 for the early advantage. Jennifer countered with 441 for the Knights in a strong showing. Sleepy B. cancelled out that effort, producing 451 for the Arrows to maintain the lead. Stripes lined 506 for the Knights, giving them a very respectable total of 1835 and forcing at least a bit of a response. Dusky left no doubt for the Arrows, tacking on 314 to give them 2127 total. Archtown is the first team to feel the Knights, improving to 5-4 while Terrace City continues to lead the league at a now tainted 9-1 record.

Patches took 643 for Boston after garnering a replay due to a technical failure at Pirates Park. Delila got 425 back in another outstanding appearance for Atlantic, but the hosts remain a bit behind early on. Atlantic skids to 8-7, having lost four straight and their previous three home games.
Coca-Cola Field, Boston: The Swifts parlay the second game of their doubleheader as the first of two in a row for the Sharpshooters as Center Division rivals engage in a heated battle. Chris led off with a weak 126 for Capital City. Patches couldn't get settled either, taking a meager 66 for Boston. Missy rallied back with 663 for the Sharpshooters, giving them a more stable lead. Puff II couldn't replicate her results from last time, scoring just 33 for the Swifts as the game gets out of hand for the hosts. Stripes pieced together a frantic comeback attempt, scoring 532, but the Knights fell with 1693 in another tough loss. Gizmo knocked 611 for the Warriors, icing their win at 2608. Central continues to dominate recently, going to 8-4, while Terrace City is finding the Northeast quite unfriendly as they fall into a tie for 2nd in the league at 9-2.

Ms. Kitty used an incredible backhand and pinpoint accuracy to accrue 661 for the Volcanoes, solidifying their lead in an impressive showing. Puff III got the Eagles active in a comeback effort, swinging a wild 829 to shrink the deficit. Jack had a very sloppy turn, taking only 163 for Pacific despite staying up to bat for quite some time. Cleo made it very close, producing 373 for Everton to put added pressure on the final players. Leonette took 273 to put the Volcanoes at 1752 overall, far from being safe. Blizzard carried the momentum to 321 for the Eagles, pacing them to victory at 1779. Everton's nail-biter keeps their perfect home record alive, and moves them further along in the front of the pack at 8-1, riding a six-game win streak, while Pacific slides to 7-5.
Toyota Pitch, Freedom: Valencia played well, but her turn came to an end as she tipped a ball out of bounds in the back, giving her 560 for Golden to open the game. Jasmine faltered with only 16 for Freedom, putting them behind early. Dusty struggled with odd bounces, scoring a measly 44 for the Pilots as the game devolves into messy batting.
