Chimpy of the Modernistic Union becoming the seventy-fifth player to finish qualifying, using the red cue for Accuracy. Chimpy shot 21 with no errors in the game for a total of 155 shots, a good final score. Next up is Sierra of the Todavía Stills, playing 10-ball with the silver cue. Sierra scored 18 with two errors, ending early on an 8-10 combination to the bottom right to salvage a decent result. Continuing along, we have Acorn of the Lighton Prestige taking the blue cue for Rotation. Acorn navigated the rack smartly, ending up with 24 shots and three errors in a strong appearance. The fourth player called today is Watermelon of the Pearl Surfers, using the red cue for 9-ball. Watermelon did pretty well, scoring 14 with no errors in a simple game. The first group ends with Jack of the Pacific Volcanoes using the silver cue for 12-ball. Jack needed 21 shots with no errors to clear the table in an effective manner.
The second group gets going with Alyssa of the Oceanside Waves being the seventy-sixth player to complete her qualifiers, shooting Accuracy with the red cue. Alyssa took 22 shots with one error in a mediocre showing, but ended with 158 overall, a good qualifying run. Moving along, we have Spice of the Victoria Spurs playing 15-ball with the silver cue. Spice shot 28 with three errors in a pretty average game. Up next is Puff II of the Boston Swifts, keeping the silver cue at the table for more 15-ball. Puff II hit 31 with five errors, struggling to make legal contact in the difficult game. The ninth player drawn today is Easter of the Todavía Stills, shooting Accuracy with the blue cue as the seventy-seventh player to finish qualifying. Easter had a decent game, shooting 20 with no errors, but her overall qualifying was poor at 186 total shots. Finishing the group off, Lydia of the Lighton Prestige plays Rotation with the red cue. Lydia took 26 shots with two errors to clear the table in a solid performance.
The third batch kicks off with Diddley of the Maplewood Lumberjacks using the blue cue for 10-ball. Diddley shot 16 with two errors in a decent fourth appearance of the season. The twelfth player drawn today is Misty of the Westside Rockers playing Accuracy as the seventy-eighth player to finish qualifying with the red cue. Misty played excellently, scoring 15 with no errors in a dominant game for a grand total of 150, a very solid score. Crystal of the Queens Flames is next up, shooting 12-ball with the red cue. Crystal had trouble at the end, shooting 28 with two errors with difficulty setting up her final shot. Moving along, there's Lionel of the Commerce Tradewinds playing Rotation with the red cue. Lionel ended up with 30 shots and three errors in a challenging rack of play. The morning groups end with Spice of the Spurs appearing again for Accuracy with the silver cue, the seventy-ninth player to finish qualifying. Spice hit 21 with no errors, and finished her games with 168 total shots, a solid average total.
Group four starts with Puff II of the Swifts playing Accuracy with the silver cue, the eightieth to finish qualifying. Puff II shot 21 with no errors, ending up with 162 total shots, a better-than-average series of qualifiers. Continuing along, we have Dusky of the Archtown Arrows using the blue cue for 12-ball. Dusky shot 20 with no errors in a very well-played showing. The eighteenth player called today is Yekaterina Vasilyeva of the Victoria Spurs, shooting Rotation with the silver cue to the tune of 32 shots with four errors, as the rookie struggled to keep pace with the league in this event. Next up, Brownie of the Harrison Specters shot 10-ball with the silver cue, scoring 16 with one error, and ending the game early on a 6-10 combination to the top left after chasing a decent chance to create a combination shot. The group concludes as Puff I of the Modernistic Union uses the blue cue for Rotation. Puff I shot 27 with a pair of errors in a solid appearance.
The fifth group opens as Twinkie I of the Lighton Prestige plays Rotation with the silver cue. Twinkie I ended up scoring 33 with four errors, victimized by a tough start. Going 22nd today is Ruby of the Archtown Arrows, playing 15-ball with the blue cue. Ruby managed to score 28 with three errors in a slightly sloppy game. Moving along, we have Leandra of the Tysini Hummingbirds shooting 10-ball with the silver cue. Leandra needed 19 shots with three errors to complete the game, ending early with a bank-combination that sent the 7 off the right rail to take the 10 in the top left for the finishing shot. Following that, Mr. Snowman of the Viewpoint Sound Meteors is the eighty-first player to finish qualifying with Accuracy and the red cue. Mr. Snowman took 22 shots with no errors, ending his qualifying sessions with 151 total shots, a very good total. The batch closes with Rainmane using the silver cue for 15-ball. Rainmane took 28 shots with three errors in a challenging game, a decent score.
Segment six leads off with Paige of the Queens Flames using the silver cue for 15-ball. Paige took no errors and only 4 shots to finish the game, putting the 15 in the bottom side after a 2-15 combination banked it off the top and left rails at the right angle. Following that, Shaggy of the Southridge Defenders takes the red cue for 12-ball. Shaggy shot 22 with one error, a reasonable effort. Up next is Sugar of the Web City Spiders, shooting Rotation with the silver cue. Sugar was alright, shooting 29 but with a shocking five errors as clean shots were rare. The 29th player of the day is Patches of the Boston Swifts, using the red cue in 12-ball to score 28 with three errors, wasting a strong start with a disjointed finish. The segment wraps up as Acorn of the Prestige appears again for 15-ball with the blue cue. Acorn couldn't hold onto early momentum, ending with 33 shots and three errors in the game.
The seventh and final group of the day begins with Ice Cream of the Commerce Tradewinds playing 15-ball with the red cue. Ice Cream shot 26 with three errors in a reasonable performance. The 32nd player called today is Crystal of the Flames, using the blue cue for Rotation. Crystal scored 31 with two errors, but hit the highlight reel by jumping over the 11 to pot the 4 cleanly to the top right, a textbook jump shot. Up next is Twinkie I of the Prestige, returning to shoot 15-ball with the silver cue to the tune of 22 shots and two errors in a very impressive appearance for the veteran. Following that, we have Ice Cream of the Tradewinds playing Accuracy with the silver cue as the eighty-second player to finish qualifying. Ice Cream finished the game with 19 shots and no errors for a grand total of 154 shots, a very solid series of qualifying games. Finally, the last player of the day is Ruby of the Arrows, appearing to finish qualifying, the eighty-third player to do so, by shooting Accuracy with the silver cue. Ruby shot 20 with one error, for a grand total of 164 shots, a little better than average.
Tomorrow we'll play 65 games, and 55 on Monday after the short day today.
