Dobromil Zeman had a heavy swing, grabbing only 160 for Brussels. Sancho Ramos took 439 for Melbourne, adding onto the lead. Rodas Cazares struggled to 93 for the Chocolatiers, letting them fall further behind. Rana Naqvi mustered a measly 12 for the Renegades in a weak showing. Eric Zaragoza pounded 394 to pull Brussels back into the game. Sikke Eichel crushed 679 for Melbourne, likely securing the game. Jaturun Choen only had 124 for the Chocolatiers, leaving them short at 1125 in the loss. Stanley Watts chipped 223 for the Renegades, putting them at 2032 in the win. Melbourne continues a good season to 13-5 while Brussels falls to 7-12.
Continuing along, the Prague Checkmates welcome the Manila Pacmen. Fatigue finally caught Haejun Ki, who had 64 for Manila to start. Pancho Barrios stepped up with 467 for Prague in a big opener. Porfirio Cazares faltered at 96 for the Pacmen, allowing the deficit to go unchecked. Lucila Zavala grabbed 264 for the Checkmates. Sander Verheyen scooped 326 for Manila, showing a sign of life for the visitors. Hyunjae Kwak had 208 for Prague, keeping them in front comfortably. Gerben Bovelt struggled to turn on a ball, ending up at 146 for the Pacmen. Corentin Aerts slugged 510 for the Checkmates, extending the lead to a safer distance. Dries Renard managed 227 for Manila, not even close to covering the deficit. Darryl Estrada plastered 407 for Prague, continuing to keep them in charge. Richard Miller had just 80 points for the Pacmen, as they lost with 939. Rayan Carranza lifted 128 to make it 1984 total in the win for the Checkmates. Prague stays strong at 10-8 while Manila falls to 8-10.
Over in South Korea, the Seoul Crushers bring in the Guatemala Conquistadors. Frisco Romero pummeled 608 for Guatemala. Natal Badillo got cut down at 240 for Seoul, starting from behind. Eustacio Zarraga stumbled to 69 for the Conquistadors. Gwandoya Makeba drilled 636 to give the Crushers a slight lead. Kenzo Hashimoto couldn't get comfortable, hitting a weak 189 for Guatemala. Leandro Gamboa did his part of Seoul, taking 224 to give a little more to the lead. Curtis Caldwell faltered at 64 for the Conquistadors, digging them into a deeper hole. Max Jennings slapped 290 for the Crushers, adding onto the lead. Azul Mora also hit 64 for a floundering Guatemala side. Frank Schmidt had just 124 for Seoul as they enter cruise control. Adrien Laurent blasted 547 to give the Conquistadors 1541, forcing a response. Zdenko Jansky came through, rolling 42 to give the Crushers a narrow win at 1556. Seoul goes to 8-8 while dragging Guatemala to 9-8.
Finally, week 9 comes to a close with the Toronto Mounties hosting the American Rebels. Axel Cools poked 135 to start for American. Cyril Hendrickx put up 283 for Toronto, taking a small lead early. Louvel Lefevre countered with 320 for the Rebels, keeping things close. Curro Garza took 227 for the Mounties, allowing the game to tighten up a bit. Sander Lambert let the game get away from American with only 64 points. Axel Maes supplied 263 for Toronto to keep the lead more firmly. Irsyad Sudjana mustered just 128 for the Rebels, as the game begins to get away from them. Tabor Laureano tacked on 220 for the Mounties. Sabino Chacon rallied with 352 for American, pulling them back in the game. Jax Puente responded by slugging 529 to keep Toronto firmly in front. Cisco Solorio did post 438 for the Rebels, but they lost with 1437 total. The Mounties won as 136 from Antoine Hendrickx gave them a final of 1658. Toronto advances to 15-4 while American is 9-8.
