Axel Maes stumbled with 96 for Toronto, leaving them vulnerable. Kenzo Hashimoto cashed in, slapping 663 to give Guatemala a big lead. Tabor Laureano returned to poor form, scoring 3 points for the Mounties in an embarrassing effort. Curtis Caldwell had just 96 points for the Conquistadors, failing to get separation. Jax Puente got 277 back for Toronto. Azul Mora struck with 570 for Guatemala, securing the lead a little more. Antoine Hendrickx supplied 519 for the Mounties, but they lost with 1696. Adrien Laurent brought the game to a quick end with 57 points for a final of 1981 for the Conquistadors. Guatemala goes to 10-9 while Toronto falls to 15-5.

Ken Howard stalled for Johannesburg with just 84 points as the game reaches a doldrums. Trevor Watson mistimed his swing, ending up with a measly 20 points for the Hitmen. Lucio Adame's regression continued with 272 for the Lions. Maynard Cabagnot crushed 544 for Caracas to put a dent in the deficit. Oshri Aharonov nearly wiped it all out with 534 for Johannesburg. Bojing Luo exploded for 625 out of nowhere for the Hitmen, but they still took the loss at 1538. Pieter Hendrickx tacked on 256 for the Lions, giving them 2137 in the win. Johannesburg jumps to 11-8 while Caracas slides to 4-15, earning them elimination from a chance at a postseason spot.
Up in Spain, the Madrid Toros bring in the Johannesburg Lions. Wiebe Becker stalled out at 135 for Johannesburg. Spencer Howard lifted 512 for Madrid to give them a good lead. Normando Alonso flipped 256 for the Lions, failing to cover the whole deficit. Pepillo Gamboa ripped 472 for the Toros to add onto the lead. Ken Howard launched 375 for Johannesburg, pulling them in range again. Lennert Verheyen faltered with 81 for Madrid. Lucio Adame sliced 441 for the Lions, continuing the team's ascent. Thabo Chahine ended up with only 45 points for the Toros, leaving them behind in the game. Oshri Aharonov produced 287 for Johannesburg, a solid score. Guillem Gamboa reclaimed the lead with a massive 608 for Madrid. Pieter Hendrickx bashed 935 for the Lions, giving them a final of 2429. Martin Badillo wilted with 33 points for the Toros, with their final at 1751. Johannesburg climbs to 12-8 while Madrid drops to 10-10.
Finally, the Manila Pacmen host the American Rebels. Axel Cools posted 208 for American to begin. Haejun Ki answered with 234 for Manila. Louvel Lefevre produced 227 for the Rebels. Porfirio Cazares had 197 for the Pacmen, making it a very close game. Sander Lambert smacked 405 for American in a bold outing. Sander Verheyen edged Manila ahead by crushing 496. Irsyad Sudjana scored just 193 for the Rebels, leaving them in danger. Gerben Bovelt struck 364 for the Pacmen, creating a more solid lead. Sabino Chacon had a meager 42 for American, further burying their chance to win. Dries Renard poked 248 for Manila. Cisco Solorio's meager 57 meant the Rebels lost with 1132. Richard Miller's 75 was enough for the Pacmen to win with 1614. Manila goes to 9-11 while American drops to 11-9.
Pool today, the end of Week 10 tomorrow, and thanks to the MLB All-Star break in real life, the SCL should be able to accelerate next week to get the regular season taken care of. Pool qualifiers are currently at the one-third mark, so expect another two weeks of action for that.
