Noppadon Gruemor ended at 128 on a backhanded attempt that went too high for Caracas. Lennert Verheyen ripped 495 for Madrid to extend the lead. Trevor Watson got cut down at 36 for the Hitmen with his batting being highly erratic. Thabo Chahine put the Toros in cruise control with just 96 points. Maynard Cabagnot got tricked with a cleverly bowled ball, scoring 160 for Caracas. Guillem Gamboa chipped 233 for Madrid, keeping them firmly in control. Bojing Luo had 192 for the Hitmen, giving them another brutal loss with 702. Martin Badillo tacked on 778 all by himself for the Toros, giving them 2423 total in the win. Madrid is now 12-10 while Caracas falls to 5-18.
Next up, the Manila Pacmen welcome the Melbourne Renegades. Charlie Thompson grabbed 292 for Melbourne at the start. Haejun Ki belted 592 for Manila, giving them the early lead. Theodore White shot back with 414 for the Renegades in a high-flying game. Porfirio Cazares grabbed 280 for the Pacmen, keeping them in the lead. Sancho Ramos hit 187, making it close for Melbourne. Sander Verheyen pulled Manila to a lead with 424. Rana Naqvi couldn't get in rhythm, ending at 139 for the Renegades. Gerben Bovelt left the Pacmen vulnerable, hitting only 21. Sikke Eichel pulled Melbourne back in the game with 353. Dries Renard had only 49 for Manila, putting them behind. Stanley Watts tapped 319 for the Renegades, giving them a final of 1704. Richard Miller found only 16 points, as the Pacmen amazingly failed to 1382 total in the loss. Melbourne jumps to 15-5 while Manila is 9-12.
The Melbourne Renegades return home, bringing in the Toronto Mounties in a battle for first place. Cyril Hendrickx faltered with 122 for Toronto. Charlie Thompson hit 387 for Melbourne, giving them the early lead. Curro Garza tapped 225 for the Mounties. Theodore White smacked 329 for the Renegades, maintaining the lead. Axel Maes kept Toronto in range, blasting 515. Sancho Ramos corralled only 112, with Melbourne now trailing at the halfway mark. Tabor Laureano chipped 108 for the Mounties. Rana Naqvi put the Renegades back in the lead with 345. Jax Puente dropped to 115 for Toronto, making a loss very realistic for the visitors. Sikke Eichel grabbed 271 more for Melbourne. Antoine Hendrickx managed only 66 points, as the Mounties lost with 1151. Stanley Watts iced it with 176 for the Renegades, giving them a total of 1620 in the win. Melbourne takes the league lead at 16-5 while Toronto is 16-6.
Into Europe, as the Prague Checkmates host the American Rebels. Axel Cools blasted 657 for American for the big and early lead. Pancho Barrios shot back with 727 for Prague. Louvel Lefevre clocked 247 for the Rebels. Lucila Zavala pounded 496 for the Checkmates, adding onto the lead. Sander Lambert tallied 192 for American, leaving them in trouble. Hyunjae Kwak pumped out another 383 for Prague. Irsyad Sudjana lifted 346 for the Rebels to keep them going. Corentin Aerts grabbed some breathing room with 279 for the Checkmates. Sabino Chacon lined 417 to keep American within striking distance. Darryl Estrada knocked 251 for Prague, making the game a bit tight. Cisco Solorio got victimized at the end for the Rebels, hitting 287 for a final of 2146 in the loss. Rayan Carranza just secured the win with 40 points for a final of 2176 for the Checkmates, making it look really close. Prague is now 12-8 while American is 12-11.
Moving along, the Seoul Crushers welcome the Prague Checkmates with quite a bit on the line. Pancho Barrios set the tone with 672 for Prague, another good start. Natal Badillo managed only 28 points for Seoul, digging an early hole. Lucila Zavala added 424 for the Checkmates to extend the lead. Gwandoya Makeba popped only 112 for the Crushers as the deficit grows. Hyunjae Kwak crushed 734 for Prague, putting the lead into orbit. Leandro Gamboa faltered with 51 for Seoul. Corentin Aerts blasted 692 for the Checkmates, a relentless attack in the pivotal game for the league. Max Jennings got cut down at 84 for the Crushers. Darryl Estrada padded the lead with 531 for Prague in a humungous performance from the visitors. Frank Schmidt took 152 for Seoul. Rayan Carranza iced it at 3412 with 359 for himself for the Checkmates in a big game. Zdenko Jansky ended up with 24 to give the Crushers only 451 total. Prague goes to 13-8 while Seoul drops to 9-12. With the win, the Prague Checkmates clinched a playoff spot, as well as securing the playoff spots of the Bangkok Sixes and the Johannesburg Lions.
Finally, the Toronto Mounties bring in the Johannesburg Lions. Wiebe Becker swatted 402 for Johannesburg to open the game. Cyril Hendrickx had 396 for Toronto, keeping things close early on. Normando Alonso pummeled 384 for the Lions. Curro Garza stumbled with 64 for the Mounties. Ken Howard hit 128 for Johannesburg, leaving the game wide open. Axel Maes got Toronto narrowly in the lead again with 541. The usually reliable Lucio Adame stumbled to 57 points for the Lions, a rare falter. Tabor Laureano got only 21 for the Mounties, leaving the game extremely close and even more wild. Oshri Aharonov took 314 for Johannesburg, giving them a slight lead. Jax Puente batted 344 for Toronto, keeping the lead in their control. Pieter Hendrickx, against the team with his brothers, had 225 for the Lions to put them at 1510 total. Antoine Hendrickx left no doubt for the Mounties, scoring 407 to give them the win with 1773. Toronto goes to 17-6 while Johannesburg drops to 13-10.
