Marsell was strong with 560 for Whitewater at the start, trying to challenge the hosts early. Chris played a ball out of bounds at only 96 for Capital City, putting the hosts behind quickly. Twinkie III put up 364 for the Shores on the second attack, a solid addition to the lead. Sprinkles made a little progress with 454 for the Sharpshooters. Katharine held on for 324 for Whitewater, protecting the lead decently. Lorde rallied on 858 for Capital City, covering the deficit with the hefty comeback. Rosalina didn't meet the mark with 66 for the Shores to leave them with a loss at 1314. Pauline tacked on 434 for the Sharpshooters to seal the win at 1842. Capital City rises to 14-14 while Whitewater is 13-21.
HP Field, Midland: The first of two meetings between these teams comes at the top of a doubleheader for the Predators. Steven is out for the visiting Pirates while Fuchsia will rest for the hosts. Delila slammed 684 for Atlantic right at the start with a high-pace appearance. Shawn carved out 451 for Midland in response, digging into the deficit well. Isabella pummeled 844 for the Pirates on the second attack, growing their lead greatly. Rainmane made an aggressive push but missed a swing at 329 as the Predators face a growing deficit. Klaus' struggles persisted with just 64 for Atlantic, weakening their lead at this crucial stage. Americus made a small gain with 310 for Midland, but they have plenty left to do. Jason N. patiently added 487 for the Pirates at the end to give them a total of 2079. Kitty had a mediocre 216 for the Predators, finishing their loss at 1306. Atlantic gets a boost to 17-16 while Midland sits at 7-25.
BMW RockDome, Westside: The Predators finish the doubleheader in the unforgiving confines the Rockers call home. Americus sits for the visitors while the hosts rest Goatee in their only game this week. Shawn found a groove with 396 for Midland on a very quick turn. Misty fired back with 664 for Westside, refusing to let the hosts trail at the start of this lopsided match. Rainmane replied with 450 for the Predators, enough to cover the deficit for now. Slinks fought it off with 800 for the Rockers, strengthening their lead at the halfway mark. Fuchsia played solidly with 324 for Midland, but it wasn't enough to threaten the hosts. Chimpy extended the Westside lead even more with his 460. Kitty picked up 276 as the Predators lost with a total of 1446. Midnight flicked 376 to cap the Rockers win at 2300 even. Westside easily moved to 29-5, while Midland sinks again to 7-26.
Cisco Tysini Field, Tysini: A Southwestern Derby is at the top of the Torpedoes' road doubleheader. Sarah will sit for the Hummingbirds while Mr. Snowman is out for the Torpedoes. Smudge scattered 582 for Infinity right from the start in a positive opening attack. Leandra chipped back with 490 for Tysini as the captains both see strong starts. Fluffina covered the damage with 525 for the Torpedoes on the second attack. Charli lost ground with her 391 for the Hummingbirds at the halfway point. Shelley protected Infinity with 419 on her turn, again matching the damage. Vincent's 200 didn't help Tysini's cause much at all. Hughbert gave the Torpedoes 429 on their final turn, closing with 1955 overall. Paps attempted to rally with 470, but the Hummingbirds ended up losing at 1551. Infinity finally got the better of their rival to get to 12-20, while Tysini is 11-23 on the year.
HP Field, Midland: Two low-ranked teams clash as the Torpedoes visit the Predators to finish a doubleheader. Smudge takes her first road game of the year off for the visitors while the hosts sit Shawn. Fluffina whipped in 472 for Infinity on a pacey first turn. Rainmane managed to give Midland a rare lead with 511 on their first turn. Shelley went with 324 for the Torpedoes, a middling performance from the veteran. Americus snagged 369 for the Predators to make a small addition to their lead. Mr. Snowman couldn't break out for Infinity, settling with 276 in a weaker turn. Fuchsia churned out an even 500 for Midland to boost their lead late in the game. Hughbert covered the deficit with 454 for the Torpedoes, giving them a total of 1526. Kitty did enough with 274 for the Predators, securing their win at 1654. Midland is now 8-26 on the year, while Infinity drops back to 12-21.
Nestle's Warriors Park, Central: These Generations Derby foes meet for the second of three times in two weeks, with Wings out for the Warriors and Gradley sitting for the Swifts. Patches picked up 390 for Boston on a surprisingly fast initial turn. Twilight took a more patient and methodical approach to rake in 544, giving Central the early advantage. Puff II slugged 877 for the Swifts, again employing a high pace to get to the lofty numbers. Dustin stumbled with only 164 for the Warriors, putting them in a deep hole. Sweetheart took a step back with 339 for Boston, but their lead remains quite comfortable. Andrew only got 280 back for Central, keeping them far behind with a player each to go. Ice Cream floated 476 for the Swifts at the end, capping their offense at 2082. Noelle didn't put up a fight, her 195 leaving the Warriors with the loss at 1183. Boston surges to 22-10 while Central is just 14-17.
Blades Fusion ProGlide Park, Swordpoint: The Blades begin a tripleheader with a Southwestern Derby, with Snowball sitting while the Torpedoes have Shelley out of action. Smudge popped 432 in a decent first turn for the heavily-worked Infinity squad. Dreamy responded with a pacey 540 to give Swordpoint a distinct early lead. Fluffina upped the stakes with 635 for the Torpedoes, giving the hosts a challenge to face. Bandit notched 426 for the Blades, causing them to fall behind at the midway point. Mr. Snowman whacked 544 for Infinity, building their lead a little higher. Stealth produced a mediocre 218 for Swordpoint, unable to really fight back against the deficit. Hughbert rolled on with a massive 615 for the Torpedoes to cap their attack at 2226. Sugar's 305 for the Blades wasn't enough, as the hosts lost with 1489 overall. Infinity rises to 13-21, while Swordpoint drops to 13-19.
Chevrolet Field, Everton: In the middle game of their tripleheader, the Blades rest Sugar versus the Eagles, who return to action after a bye week with Cleo taking the game off. Snowball hit an even 700 for Swordpoint in her return to the lineup. Goldy got 544 back for Everton in a strong counterattack at the start. Dreamy kept the Blades in control with 675 on the second attack. Bear stumbled with 164 for the Eagles, causing their deficit to become much greater. Bandit kept Swordpoint on the right track with 459, extending their lead again. Puff III merely kept the deficit level with 464 for Everton in what's looking like a lost-cause game. Stealth was strong with 461 for the Blades at the end, sealing their game at 2295. Kirstin had only 305 for the Eagles, their losing total ending at 1477. Swordpoint is up to 14-19 now, while Everton dips to 21-15.
Blades Fusion ProGlide Park, Swordpoint: The Blades finish their tripleheader at home with another Southwestern rival paying a visit. Bandit is out for the hosts, as is the visitors' captain Chris. Missy stepped up for the lead-off turn, batting 414 for Capital City to lead things off. Snowball slipped on a high swing at 264 for Swordpoint. Sprinkles collected 364 for the Sharpshooters in response, adding a bit more to their lead. Dreamy didn't push back very well with 319 for the Blades, who remain behind halfway through the game. Lorde timed her swings quite well to rack up 617 for Capital City. Stealth had a strong 511 for Swordpoint in response, but the deficit is still there. Pauline slapped 410 for the Sharpshooters at the end, giving them 1805 overall. Sugar turned her swing too high at 245 to leave the Blades at a loss with 1339. Capital City sneaks away up to 15-14 while Swordpoint is 14-20.
HP Field, Midland: In a rematch from earlier in the week, Kitty sits for the host Predators while the visiting Pirates give the struggling Klaus a game off. Delila opened with 501 for Atlantic in a good performance. Shawn fought back well with 560 for Midland, enough for the hosts to take a small early lead. Isabella ripped 671 for the Pirates on the second attack, escalating the offense significantly. Rainmane didn't keep up with 256 for the Predators, causing them to slip behind. Steven held firm at 384 for Atlantic, protecting their newfound lead. Americus dropped at a mild 240 for Midland, further losing ground to the visitors. Jason N. charged with a pacey 490 to seal the Pirates' game at 2046. Fuchsia bailed at 264, with the Predators taking the loss at 1320. Atlantic jumps again to 18-16, while Midland is 8-27.
Coca-Cola Field, Boston: The Swifts and Warriors tangle for the third time in two weeks, with Sweetheart out for the hosts and Andrew out for the visitors. Twilight had a decent 314 for Central to start with as they look to gain some traction against their rivals. Patches responded with 388 for Boston to give them a slight advantage. Dustin got a little bit back on track with 395 for the Warriors on the second attack. Puff II tried a quick turn to keep her high pace, but launched it out of play at 270 for the Swifts. Wings had a strong effort with 385 for Central, ending a bit earlier than expected. Gradley countered with 454 for Boston on a longer pacey attack, making it a close battle as the final players come to bat. Noelle flubbed her turn with a measly 64 for the Warriors, likely giving them a loss at 1158. Ice Cream crushed a meaningful 740 for the Swifts to seal their win at 1852. Boston impresses in going to 23-10, while Central is 14-18 and falling fast.
Blades Fusion ProGlide Park, Swordpoint: The week 17 finale sees Rainmane out for the Predators at the start of their final eight-game road trip as part of their roster rotation, while the Blades rest Dreamy. Shawn did alright with 400 for Midland at the start of the game. Snowball more than doubled it with 833 for Swordpoint, giving the hosts a significant lead. Americus covered the deficit with 472 for the Predators on the second attack. Bandit slipped a little with 295 for the Blades, but they retained a small lead at the halfway point. Fuchsia plucked 379 for Midland, again keeping them competitive. Stealth covered it with 461 for Swordpoint, giving them a small additional safety zone late in the game. Kitty forced a response with 454 for the Predators, setting their final score at 1705. Sugar stumbled at 85 for the Blades, leaving them short at 1674. Midland escapes at 9-27, while Swordpoint loses in embarrassing fashion to drop to 14-21.
