Premier is set to go with its week 18 run, beginning with...

McDonald's Pitch at Pirates Park, Atlantic: Jason N. will sit for the Pirates in the week's opening game, while Sugar takes a seat for the visiting Blades. Snowball slapped a solid 418 for Swordpoint to start the scoring. Delila was stronger with 605 for Atlantic on their opening turn. Dreamy covered the deficit with 426 for the Blades, producing another solid effort for the visitors. Isabella cracked out 850 for the Pirates in response, giving them a very sturdy lead at the midway mark. Bandit buckled at 256 for Swordpoint, unable to push back against the hosts. Steven covered that damage with 335 for Atlantic. Stealth bowed out at 160 for the Blades, leaving them at a loss with 1260. Klaus collected 414 for the Pirates at the end to seal their win at 2204. Atlantic is up to 19-16, while Swordpoint dips to 14-22.

Nissan Infinity Stadium, Infinity: The rising Torpedoes sit Hughbert for rest this time, while the visiting Predators give Fuchsia a game off in their second of eight straight on the road. Shawn's 184 was not very good for Midland at the start of the contest. Smudge teed off with 691 for Infinity on their first turn, giving the hosts a big lead. Rainmane got some back with 355 for the Predators, but they remain behind. Fluffina exploded for 941 for the Torpedoes, giving their lead a huge boost in the middle of the game. Americus pulled back with 665 for Midland, making a large dent in the deficit. Shelley responded in fine form with 869 for Infinity to easily protect their lead. Kitty did okay with 416 for the Predators, but they still took a steep loss at 1620. Mr. Snowman piled on with 600 for the Torpedoes, sealing their big win at 3101. Infinity rises to 14-21 while Midland is 9-28.

Blades Fusion ProGlide Park, Swordpoint: The Sharpshooters start their seven-game week on the road in the Capital Derby, sitting Pauline, while the Blades bench Stealth. Chris took a stumble at 150 for Capital City, potentially saving some energy for later in the week. Snowball pushed forward with 506 for Swordpoint to establish their lead quickly. Missy covered the deficit with 414 for the Sharpshooters. Dreamy didn't do as well with 230 for the Blades, regaining a smaller lead at this stage. Sprinkles surged forward with 648 for Capital City, presenting quite the challenge to the hosts. Bandit countered with 469 for Swordpoint, leaving them very slightly behind late in the game. Lorde went with 407 for the Sharpshooters to set their final score at 1619. Sugar failed at 304 for the Blades, sticking them with defeat at 1509. Capital City starts a busy week well in rising to 16-14, while Swordpoint drops to 14-23.

Chevrolet Field, Everton: The Eagles will give Bear his first home game off, while the Sharpshooters finish the road doubleheader with Chris getting some extra rest. Missy rallied with 600 for Capital City at the start of the game. Goldy didn't step up very well with 321 for Everton, just about halving the deficit. Sprinkles had the pace but only really covered the damage when she knocked a ball out of play at 395 for the Sharpshooters. Cleo made a small gain with 422 for the Eagles to keep them competitive. Lorde was consistent with pace but ended with 335 Capital City, slightly weakening their lead. Puff III had only a mediocre 243 for Everton, costing them valuable time in a game still potentially within reach. Pauline went off with 579 for the Sharpshooters at the end, icing their offense at 1909. Kirstin's 292 sealed the loss for the Eagles at 1278. Capital City has staked out a 17-14 record now, while Everton sinks to 21-16.

Nissan Infinity Stadium, Infinity: A critical bubble battle sees these Southwestern rivals tangle, with the Torpedoes sitting Hughbert again while the Blades bench Dreamy. Snowball led off with a decent 385 for the slumping Swordpoint team. Smudge came up a little short of that with 371 for Infinity, keeping the hosts within striking distance. Bandit went with 425 for the Blades, upping the offense just slightly on the second attack. Fluffina showed no mercy with 750 to give the Torpedoes a more distinct lead. Stealth mistimed a swing and fell with only 128 for Swordpoint, unable to cover the deficit this time. Shelley fought it off with 400 for Infinity, protecting their lead heading into the final turn. Sugar had two false starts before recording 298, leaving the Blades to lose with 1236. Mr. Snowman tacked on 550 more as the Torpedoes claimed another win at 2071. Infinity's surge continues to 15-21, while Swordpoint is 14-24 with little time to correct course.

BMW RockDome, Westside: The Rockers take on the Predators for the third week in a row; Midnight rests for the hosts while the visitors sit their captain Shawn. Rainmane had some hefty swings to pick up 463 for Midland at the start of the game. Misty pretty much doubled that with 902 for Westside to give the hosts a sizable advantage. Americus didn't meet the challenge with 211 for the Predators. Slinks pounded 633 for the Rockers to give their lead a noticeable boost. Fuchsia was bounced at 146 for Midland after taking a sloppy and high swing. Goatee stayed strong with 511 for Westside in her return to action. Kitty took a mild 225 as the Predators suffered defeat with 1045. Chimpy accepted 310 for the Rockers to seal their win at 2356. Westside soars to 30-5 while Midland drops to 9-29.

Capital City SuperCenter, Capital City: The Sharpshooters' only stand-alone game of the week is here, with Sprinkles resting, while the Pirates go without Steven this time. Delila had a poor swing that derailed her turn with only 160 for Atlantic at the start. Chris countered with 526 for Capital City, a strong turn to give the hosts the initial lead. Isabella's 411 was enough for the Pirates to lightly cover the deficit. Missy didn't get it all back, but her 396 pull the Sharpshooters ahead again at the midway point. Klaus played alright with 357 for Atlantic, an average turn that doesn't give much hope in a comeback situation. Lorde parried only 258 for Capital City, weakening their lead with a player each to go. Jason N. tapped 361 for the Pirates, giving them a total of 1289 which will force the hosts to respond. Pauline failed to objective with 81 for the Sharpshooters, sticking them with a loss at 1261. Atlantic is lucky to escape at 20-16, while Capital City devastatingly falls to 17-15.

Amazon Field, Golden: Each of these teams plays a lone game this week, with the Pilots giving Dusty the extra rest while the Hummingbirds sit Vincent amid his recent slump. Sarah chopped a respectable 478 for Tysini to lead things off. Valencia crushed 1258 for Golden in response, a massive turn that could set them up for game-long success. Leandra didn't hesitate in her attack with 438 for the Hummingbirds, cutting the deficit in half. Strut covered the damage with 461 for the Pilots, a strategy the hosts are likely to use throughout the rest of the game. Charli didn't do that great with 260 for Tysini, knowing that the game is probably already out of hand. Max offered a stunning support attack of 839 for Golden, virtually guaranteeing their win. Paps posted just 310 as the Hummingbirds took the loss at 1486 overall. Sparkles was more modest with 355 for the Pilots, icing their win at 2913. Golden's dominance takes them to 25-13 while Tysini sinks to 11-24 with the big loss.

Capital City SuperCenter, Capital City: The Sharpshooters begin their quad versus a Southwestern rival. Lorde sits for the hosts while Shelley takes a breather for the Torpedoes. Smudge made an early exit with a middling 258 for Infinity. Chris replied with 410 for Capital City, again conserving some energy for later as he takes a narrow lead. Fluffina hauled in 341 for the Torpedoes, enough to cover the deficit on the second attack. Missy stayed in form with a big 646 for the Sharpshooters, propelling them to a healthy lead. Mr. Snowman didn't offer a challenge with 156 for Infinity, making their deficit much more difficult to climb out of. Sprinkles was beat on a ball that jumped her bat, clipping her wicket at 135 as Capital City's lead shakes just a bit. Hughbert's 250 was too little for the Torpedoes, leaving them to lose at 1005. Pauline took it easy with 195 for the Sharpshooters, giving them the win at 1386. Capital City appears committed to trying to win ugly, lifting to 18-15, as Infinity falls to 15-22.

BMW RockDome, Westside: The Sharpshooters want to test their old rivals, sitting Pauline against a Rockers team more than willing to oblige the challenge as they sit Chimpy. Chris went with electric pace in scoring 470 for Capital City to start the second game of his team's quad. Misty started a little slower but upped the intensity and scored 546 to put Westside ahead early on. Missy double-tapped a ball, dragging it into her wicket at 361 as the Sharpshooters start to lag a bit. Slinks kept the Rockers in control with 494 on the second attack. Sprinkles made a return to form with 556 for Capital City, covering the deficit and challenging the hosts all at once. Goatee returned fire with 590 for Westside, reasserting the hosts quite nicely late in the game. Lorde conceded the game with only 200 for the Sharpshooters, their losing total resting at 1587. Midnight decided to keep it simple with 48 for the Rockers, icing their win at 1678. Westside swept another season series, moving up to 31-5, while Capital City is down to 18-16.

Nestle's Warriors Park, Central: The Sharpshooters are down to a home-and-home with the Warriors. The visitors rest Missy for the first time in the seven-game week while the hosts sit Noelle. Chris popped off with 665 for Capital City on the initial attack. Twilight got 504 back for Central, keeping things relatively close early on. Sprinkles flicked 308 for the Sharpshooters on her turn, making a small addition to their lead. Dustin pushed forward with 419 for the Warriors, shrinking the deficit at the halfway mark. Lorde faded at 193 for Capital City, a poor turn that weakened the visitors' lead. Wings replied with 389 for Central, enough to pull the hosts ahead late in the game. Pauline's 255 didn't do the Sharpshooters any favors as they close the game with 1421 in total. Andrew did enough with 329 to secure the win at 1641 for the Warriors. Central strikes first in the home-and-home to move to 15-18 while bumping Capital City to 18-17.

Capital City SuperCenter, Capital City: The Week 18 finale sees the Sharpshooters banish Lorde to the bench while the Warriors strangely elect to sit their captain Twilight in a massive game. Dustin made it look like a good move, smashing 720 for Central in a rare lead-off appearance. Chris tipped a ball off the handle of his bat, ending with 255 as Capital City is clearly out of gas. Wings managed just 200 for the Warriors, potentially leaving them a little vulnerable. Missy pulled back with 635 for the Sharpshooters, making things competitive again in the middle of the game. Andrew's 245 weakened Central's lead a bit more at a critical point in the game. Sprinkles matched it with 255 for Capital City, putting them very narrowly behind with a player each to go. Noelle made a move with 505 for the Warriors, giving them a total of 1670. Pauline came up short at 230 for the Sharpshooters, taking the loss at 1375. Central rises again to 16-18, while Capital City is 18-18 after a brutal week.

That'll be all for Week 18 in cricket. Week 19 will run Friday thru Sunday, which puts us about a week out from the United Cup knockout rounds.
