Nikolai flicked another 300 for the Cascades, giving them a weaker grasp on the lead. Isabella made an absolute disaster of her turn with only 81 points, causing the Pirates to fall behind at the halfway point. Stripes let the opportunity to grow the lead slip away, as she added only 162 for Freedom this time. Steven pulled Atlantic back with 434 to give them a late lead. Maplewood will want to repeat at home, as they own just a 43-point lead from here.

Capital City SuperCenter, Capital City: The host Sharpshooters already know their Hutton Cup position, so sit Pauline for the United Cup game, while the visiting Knights bench Melissa here. Kiwi played a solid turn with 441 for Terrace City to lead things off. Chris was patient but a little too low in pace, ending at 337 as Capital City starts from behind. Jennifer produced a pacey 476 for the Knights to paid their lead. Missy's United Cup woes continued with only 250 for the Sharpshooters here, causing the deficit to grow. Terrace City is the first lower-division team with a three-figure lead, heading home up by 773 after the first leg.

Blades Fusion ProGlide Park, Swordpoint. The most upset-prone series sees the host Blades sit Bandit, while the Surfers look to continue United Cup dominance with Boots out. Watermelon got caught with a ball on the tip of her bat, downing her at only 162 for Pearl. Snowball capitalized on the weakness with 639 for Swordpoint to give the hosts a nice lead. Neopolitan fell at a measly 100 for the Surfers, who are quickly falling apart on the road. Dreamy enjoyed fantastic pace with 792 for the Blades, extending their lead significantly. Bright was stalled at 135 as Pearl's offense has completely escaped them. Stealth didn't make much of an addition with a mild 214 for Swordpoint. Coca-Cola Field, Boston: The shorthanded Nighthawks, missing Cheddar due to a wrist injury, will try to make it work against a Swifts team sitting Gradley for the home game. Peach missed her mark with 280 for North Modernistic in an underwhelming opener. Patches had a pacey attack with 350 for Boston, putting the hosts a little ahead. Gal couldn't provide a lot of pressure with a mediocre 240 for the Nighthawks on the second attack. Puff II opened things up a bit more with 526 for the Swifts to build their lead. Lionel didn't break North Modernistic's funk, tapping 260 on his turn. Sweetheart grew the Boston lead a little more with 384. That's all for the Premier-hosted legs in the third round. Tomorrow, the lower-division teams will try their luck at home.
