Spice was firm with 580 for Victoria on the opening turn. Mams had the pace for a good game, but ended with 208 for Southern on a high hit. Yekaterina supplied 414 for the Spurs on a decent second attack to keep them in control. Panda appeared to have a good turn, but his low pace ended with 376 for the Monarchs, losing a little ground. Sage took the offense to the next level with a devastating 919 for Victoria, giving them a massive lead. Pounce didn't have much to challenge that attack, taking 425 as Southern seems resigned to another loss. Mitchell tacked on 509 for the Spurs at the end, capping their offense at 2422 in a likely win. Dominic went with a decent 426 for the Monarchs at the end, sealing their loss at 1435. Cheddar floated 503 for the Nighthawks on the second attack to get their offense up. Jack pulled back with 434 for the Spiders, although the hosts now trail at the midway mark. Gal hit a solid 407 for North Modernistic, a decent turn to protect their lead. Avril pushed back with 414 for Web City, a tiny gain pulling the hosts that much closer going into the final turn. Luigi had a mild 320 for the Nighthawks at the end, setting their final score at 1460. Chicky Phil collected 364 for the Spiders at the end, giving them 1476 in a very narrow win. Web City jumps to 18-21, while North Modernistic dips to 26-11, just ahead by a half-game in first place.

Sprint Pitch, Victoria: The Spurs kick off a home doubleheader with Mitchell on the bench, while the visiting Lumberjacks sit Gabe in a critical battle. Whiskers took a stumble with a meager 85 for Maplewood, leaving them exposed from the start. Spice turned in a fairly standard 419 for Victoria, enough for the initial lead. Diddley whacked 572 for the Lumberjacks to get them back in the game on the second attack. Yekaterina spiked 752 for the Spurs in response, maintaining their lead at the halfway point. Summer didn't keep up with 361 for Maplewood, putting the visitors at a disadvantage. Sage tapped 326 for Victoria to pad their lead a little bit. Puff I made a move with 535 for the Union on the second attack, pulling them ahead for now. Yekaterina showed no mercy with 925 for the Spurs, reestablishing a huge lead for the hosts. Kodiak made a push with 755 for Modernistic, keeping them competitive as the game gets toward its finish. Strawberry raked in 587 to protect Victoria's lead late in the game. Victoria is charging at 25-12, while Modernistic dips to 16-20.

Starbucks Cup, Archtown: The Arrows begin a doubleheader of their own with Dusky taking regular rest, while the Sharks sit Gizmo as they try to avenge last week's loss in this fixture. Graham struggled to up his pace, ending at 304 for Eastside. Sally fired off 518 for Archtown in response to stake out a small lead. Chelsea covered that damage with 525 for the Sharks on the second attack. Sleepy B. escalated things a little more with 555 for the Arrows this time to restore their lead. Taylor M. stood tall with 690 for Eastside, keeping the hosts honest with the big turn. Hoppy's 395 allowed Archtown to fall behind with a player each to go. Cubby fell apart with only 103 for the Sharks at the end, leaving them vulnerable at 1622 overall. A. Charlton assured the Arrows of a win, tallying 640 to give them 2108 in total. Hoppy didn't get much with 289 for the Arrows, simply covering the deficit on her turn. Sage didn't match it, taking only 264 as the Spurs maintain a thin lead at the midway mark. Dusky returned to the lineup in good form with 434 for Archtown, applying pressure on the hosts again. Strawberry did her part for Victoria with 556, extending their lead a bit heading into the final players' turns. A. Charlton's 497 for the Arrows covered the deficit, giving them 1638 for the game. Mitchell managed 208 for the Spurs at the end, capping their offense at 1522 in an unfortunate loss. Archtown rises again to 18-21, while Victoria drops back to 25-13.

FedEx Ground, Eastside: The Shippers Derby is on for the first of two meetings this week. The Sharks will sit Cubby after he struggled in the last game, while the Lumberjacks bench Whiskers for rest. Diddley had some pace but lifted a ball too high to end with 350 for Maplewood. Graham bowed out at 96 for Eastside after a poor swing. Summer was strong with 595 for the Lumberjacks to give their lead a significant boost. Chelsea took off, slugging 1088 for the Sharks in response to give them a big lead. Volkswagen Stadium, Viewpoint Sound: The V-Line Derby sees the Spurs rotate Yekaterina out of action for rest while the Meteors sit Nibbles for regular rest. Spice erupted for 994 for Victoria on the opening attack of the game, clearly feeling better after getting the last game off. Princess got less than half of it back with 441 for Viewpoint Sound on their first turn. Sage covered that with a pacey 476 for the Spurs, keeping their attack speedy and sturdy. Hoot didn't keep up with 209 for the Meteors, allowing the deficit to grow. Strawberry tallied another 760 as Victoria continues to carve up their rivals in this game. Frosty made a good turn amid her team's struggles, tallying 510 for Viewpoint Sound. Mitchell grabbed 373 at the end for the Spurs to ice their attack at 2603. Dani popped 587 for the Meteors at the end, but it didn't reverse the result as they lost with 1747. Victoria is back on track at 26-13, while Viewpoint Sound slips to 16-22.

The Intel Pitch, Diamond: The Gems and Sharks tangle in an Eastern Hills Derby, where both lead-off hitters, Graham of the visitors and Shadow for the hosts, will take a rest. Chelsea had an admirable start but fell early at 316 for Eastside. Smokey ripped 916 for Diamond on their opening turn, staking out a big lead for the hosts. Taylor M. also showed positive pace in a short turn with only 285 for the Sharks. Pedey fired back with 511 at the halfway mark for the Gems, providing them with a strong extension to their lead. Gizmo made a push back with 532 for Eastside, but they remain pretty far behind. Katelynn made sure to maintain Diamond's lead, racking up another 640 to add to the advantage. Cubby hit 350 for the Sharks, confirming their loss at 1483 overall. Leonardo kept the Gems balanced with his 674 at the end to complete their win at 2741. Diamond is up to 19-15, while Eastside plummets to 10-28 on an eighth straight loss.

Microsoft Pitch, Del Sur: The Nighthawks won't take it easy in the midst of a battle for positioning, sitting Luigi versus the Monarchs, who bench Mams. Peach lashed 760 for North Modernistic right from the start, already putting the hosts at a significant deficit. Panda matched the pace but not the length, ending with a good 441 for Southern. Cheddar failed when she couldn't convert a backhand flick, her 162 suddenly endangering the Nighthawks' lead. Pounce pushed with 490 for the Monarchs, making it a surprisingly close game at the midway point. Gal got North Modernistic back on track with her 668. Dominic scuffed a few swings but still produced 476 for Southern, putting them within striking distance. Lionel flipped 460 for the Nighthawks at the end, giving them a final score of 2050. Salmo swung and missed at 443 for the Monarchs, their defiant loss ending at 1850. North Modernistic escapes to 27-11 while Southern slides to 7-31.

Subway Field, Stonebridge: The Wolves' only game of the week comes without Cobalt in the lineup, while the Gems sit Leonardo in this Eastern Hills rivalry match. Shadow sliced off 419 for Diamond at the start, just clipping the boundary on his last swing. Juno didn't match the effort with 350 for Stonebridge, which was enough to keep the hosts close. Smokey posted a middling 220 for the Gems, putting their lead in danger on the second attack. Hershey pulled the Wolves ahead with a strong 560. Pedey just managed to cover the deficit, his turn ending with 345 for a suddenly struggling Diamond side. Wild Thing battled back with 480 for Stonebridge, growing their lead slightly as the final players come to bat. Katelynn didn't meet the challenge with 128 for the Gems, sending them to a loss at 1112. Vladimir had a positive showing with 584 as the Wolves capped their win at 1974. Stonebridge is up to 17-19 while Diamond slides back to 19-16.

FedEx Ground, Eastside: The Sharks and Lumberjacks meet for the second time this week, with Taylor M. out for the hosts while Bryant sits for the visitors. Whiskers had some big swings but sent one too high to end at 305 for Maplewood. Graham answered with 490 for Eastside, more than enough to put the hosts ahead initially. Diddley chipped 532 for the Lumberjacks on the second attack, pulling them ahead with the creative effort. Chelsea lost a bit of ground with 454 for the Sharks, but they remain ahead for now. Summer wasn't sharp with 264 for Maplewood, who just can't seem to grab control of the contest. Gizmo took advantage of the weakness with 561 for Eastside to strengthen their lead. Gabe made an absolute mess of his turn with only 18 for the Lumberjacks, confirming their loss at 1119. Cubby kept it simple with 108 to seal the Sharks' win at 1613. Eastside gets a surprising win to rise to 11-28 while Maplewood is down to 26-13 in a tie for third place.

That's all for Select this week. Elite is scheduled for tomorrow and should not experience any abnormalities in the course of play.
