As promised from the last post, this one begins with a rematch from two games ago, featuring...
Microsoft Pitch at Del Sur: Crystal failed to settle a quick bouncing ball, ending with 131 to start Queens' sweep effort. Panda replied with 209 for Southern, giving them a slight edge at the beginning of the game. Kayla hammered 905 to solidify the Flames' efforts. Shannon got some of it back with 335 for the Monarchs, but they are still well behind at the halfway point. Max kept Queens on pace, striking 313 to maintain their lead decently. Kirstin couldn't advance the Southern cause at all, with her 304 keeping them at approximately the same deficit with a player each to go. Paige cut 328 for the Flames, putting them at a final of 1677 in what should be a win. Nicole's 60 meant the Monarchs had just 908 in their thirteenth straight home loss. Queens claims a sweep here, going to 9-23 at midseason, and now passing the 11-30 Monarchs to get out of last place. For the Flames midseason report, click here.
GE Stadium, Southridge: The last time these teams met, Delila of the Pirates scored the second-highest individual score in league history. Now, the Defenders look to avenge that embarrassment without re-traumatizing themselves. Delila controlled herself, hitting 538 for Atlantic this time in a reasonable start for the leading MVP candidate. Boots had virtually no response, with a measly 12 to start Southridge with. Amber scooped up 785 to pad the Pirates lead to a large margin. Debby couldn't get much back with just 144 for the Defenders as the game begins to get away from them. Americus put Atlantic in cruise control with a weak 129 to extend their lead with. J. Garcia faltered to 39 points for Southridge, as they essentially run up the white flag. Dominic capped the Pirates scoring with 108 to give them a total of 1560 in what should end up as a win. Shaggy attempted to rally for the Defenders, but her 736 still left them at 931 in their loss. Atlantic hits midseason a bit late after playing a heavy schedule in the first quarter of the season, but now with a record of 19-13, while Southridge is 12-22. Blades Fusion ProGlide Park, Swordpoint: These bitter territorial (yet not regional) rivals meet to complete their season series, with the Blades claiming a road win in week 2 and seeking a sweep now. Chris started on 487 for Capital City, a reasonably solid opener. Snowball continues to struggle, posting only 247 for Swordpoint. Missy answered with just 51 for the Sharpshooters, leaving them vulnerable. Dreamy cashed in with 682 for the Blades, giving them the lead halfway through the game. Audi Knights Pitch, Terrace City: The Knights host a very cold road team in the Specters, with their eyes on a sweep. Slinks busted out of her road funk with 766 for Harrison, establishing a big lead. Kiwi got 664 back for Terrace City in a strong performance. Brownie faltered with 136 for the Specters, and they ended their game with 1816. Stripes got beat on a bad deflection, ending with 69 for the Knights, who lose with 1641. Harrison is up to 15-21 for the year as their six-game road losing streak is snapped, while Terrace City is set to panic as the team is 20-17 and experiencing growing pains.
Apple Park, Todavía: It's a battle between two well-known franchises. Smokey belted 783 to give Diamond a dream start to the game. Easter had only 89 for Todavía, unable to keep pace at the start. Citrus clubbed an extra 591 for the Gems, and they have taken almost total control very early in this game. Sierra closed the gap quite a bit, ripping 944 for the Stills to tighten things up halfway through the game. Pedey didn't protect the lead with, adding just 245 for Diamond, which may not be enough in the long run. Leonardo had the worst luck, as a ball arced high and landed out of his reach on his wicket, stalling the Todavía comeback as he had just 78. Cassandra hit a measly 16 to give the Gems a final of 1635. Sparkles almost rallied back, but fell short with 431 individually for 1542 total for the Stills in a loss. Diamond is charging up the standings again at 17-20, while Todavía didn't help their playoff dreams, going to 19-18.
Cisco Tysini Field, Tysini: The Volcanoes took care of business at home, but the Hummingbirds want to win this West Division battle between elites. Starlight blasted 974 for Pacific right off the bat, giving them a huge advantage. Princess answered by smashing 1055 for Tysini, keeping things close. Ms. Kitty countered with a big 616 for the Volcanoes, restoring an advantage. Leandra's bad swing cost the Hummingbirds, as her 78 put them far behind at the halfway point. Jack swatted 600 for Pacific in response, boosting their lead a bit more. Charli managed 192 for Tysini, but they are likely going to lose this one. Leonette tapped 247 to bring the Volcanoes to a final of 2437. Bright hauled in 663 for the Hummingbirds, but they took a loss on 1988 as their final score. Pacific gets the season sweep, improving to 22-11, while Tysini has lost three straight and fallen into the third tier at 23-16.
Sprint Pitch, Victoria: The Cascades are in a position to sweep the Spurs after winning at home early in the season. Freedom's Jasmine struggled with pace in her appearance, taking only 117. Spice went big with 1156 for Victoria right off the bat, giving them a massive lead. Stinky lacked a solid rhythm, posting only 167 for the Cascades as things are not going well for them. B. Chapman had a slow reaction to a deflection, which caused her to end early but with 436 to pad the Spurs lead. Roxy made a bad choice to swing at a cluttered pitch, ending with a weak 36 for Freedom. Yekaterina kept it simple with 346 for Victoria, as they cruise into a likely victory. Nikolai made a huge effort with 983 for the Cascades, but they took the loss on 1303. Kavan lifted 464 to give the Spurs a winning total of 2402. Victoria gets a rare home win to go to 13-20, while Freedom is now at 18-16 and losing grip of a playoff spot a bit.

Easter struck a big 619 for Todavía to get them off to a good start. Mr. Snowman kept Viewpoint Sound close, swinging 575 in response. Sierra stumbled with 177 for the Stills, allowing the lead to slip. Mams did worse, swinging at a bad angle and ending up with a measly 16 for the Meteors. Leonardo fell out of form with just 144 for Todavía as scoring has fallen apart. Zach punished that mistake with impunity, smashing 943 for Viewpoint Sound to take a big lead late in the game. Leonardo couldn't recover for the Stills, scoring 99 on his optional replay attempt to leave them at a loss with 1039. Kelly tacked on 324 to give the Meteors a final score of 1858 in the win. Viewpoint Sound improves to 13-17, while Todavía is sliding still at 19-19.

Misty answered with 503 for Westside, keeping them somewhat in range. Stinky's backswing betrayed him, as he knocked out his stumps and ended with 208 for the Cascades. Goatee pulled in 585 for the Rockers, giving them the advantage at the halfway mark. Roxy hit 184 for Freedom, failing to cover the deficit. Midnight had just 90 for Westside, allowing the lead to falter as the final players step up to bat. Nikolai's turn was deemed complete at 9 points for the Cascades. Nikolai hit the first ball, settled the second with a backhand, and then simultaneously struck the second and third balls, one of which deflected out of bounds on the next offering. The Cascades finished at a loss with 1075. Chicky Phil had 336 for the Rockers, icing their win at 1514. Westside is up to 10-21 on the year, while Freedom falls to 18-17 as the playoff bubble seems to be collapsing.

Twinkie III replied on 750 for the Shores, building up their lead even more. Taylor fired back with 575 for Eastside, hoping for the hosts to trip up at some point. Cheddar faded a bit with 417, but Whitewater still holds a sizable lead with a player each to go. Niki didn't have it for the Sharks, ending with a pathetic 4 points as they lose with 1334, their fourth straight road loss. Wild Thing hit 230 to give the Shores a win with 2044. Whitewater advances to 15-24 on the season split, while Eastside slides to 18-16.
