At the back of the group, Capital City Sharpshooters veteran Sprinkles does 10-ball with the blue cue. Group two opens with Oceanside Waves rookie Josie playing Rotation with the silver cue. Josie had nothing on the break, and while she was great at the start, it proved to be a lot of luck, as she faded to 33 shots and three errors by the end of the game. The ninth game of the day is Potter's 15-ball appearance with the red cue. Potter improved this time, still going empty on the break but taking only two errors over 23 shots as he had surges early and late in the game. Closing the group, Boston Swifts veteran Ice Cream shoots 10-ball with the red cue. Ice Cream had a narrowly empty break and three errors in 16 shots before making the 8-10 combination to the bottom right for the early finish, which puts the even in dormancy.
