We're back with a new week of Select action, beginning with...

Pepsi Prestige Park, Lighton: The Prestige wrap up a pair of home games with Acorn taking some rest, while Hershey sits for performance reasons for the Wolves. Juno took a solid 432 at the start for Stonebridge, setting them up well early in the game. Spirit answered with 408 for Lighton on her opening turn, keeping things close initially. Vladimir wasted a game-changing effort by playing through a technical error, and his mandatory replay yielded only 240 for Stonebridge. Nicole rubbed salt in the wounds of the visitors, striking 665 for Lighton to give her team a significant lead. Cobalt returned from suspension with only 223 for the Wolves at the end, giving them a final of 1272 in the loss. Waluigi did alright with 256, more than enough to ice the Prestige win at 1757. Lighton rises to 5-4 on the year, while Stonebridge sinks to 6-9.

Mercedes-Benz Field, Harrison: The Specters give Sydney her first game off coming out of the bye, while the Spurs sit Wario for rest as the other team returning from a week off. Spice put in quite the opening attack, fighting off a number of tough challenges to blast 1002 for Victoria. Twinkie II was immediately under siege for Harrison, only scoring 17 points as deflections overwhelmed her. Yekaterina responded with a massive 1180 for the Spurs, likely ending this game before it ever really got going. Lexi had a respectable 428 for the Specters, but they remain far behind at the midway point. Sage struggled for Victoria with only 160, picking a good time for a bad outing. Rudolph barely covered that with 171 for Harrison, who would like to get out of this game quickly. Strawberry jammed in another 742 for the Spurs at the end, setting their winning score at 3084. Mitchell flicked 566 for the Specters, who suffered the loss at 1182. Victoria jumps to 5-8, while Harrison falls to 4-6 with the brutal defeat.

Kraft Crowns Park, Royal: The Crowns rest Jake after his pool yesterday, while Cubby sits for rest for the Sharks as they begin a three-game road trip. Graham unleashed 1005 for Eastside, another big start for a road team today. Kayla couldn't come close to matching that, falling at 199 for Royal, which puts the hosts at a large deficit. A deflection brought Chelsea's turn to an end at 407 for the Sharks, padding their lead with the sturdy outing. Jeremias made minor progress with 479 for the Crowns at the midway mark, but they remain far behind. Gizmo showed no fear for Eastside in a counterattack, clubbing 519 to keep them firmly in control of the game. Nightfur struggled with 157 for Royal, deepening the deficit with a player each to go in the game. Salmo tacked on another 609 for the Sharks at the end, giving them a convincing final score of 2540, which should be good for a win. Cassie chipped 410 for the Crowns at the end, sealing their loss at 1245. Eastside is up to 6-8 on the year, while Royal is down to 3-6.

Microsoft Pitch, Del Sur: The Monarchs let Avril rest to begin their doubleheader, while the Meteors sit Vincent as they head on the road for a Coastal Derby. Hoot answered with 371 for the Meteors, adding a bit to their lead with the second attack. Panda smashed 879 for the Monarchs to put them well ahead at the halfway mark, a glorious return from his one-game suspension. Nibbles fell with 171 for Viewpoint Sound this time, unable to impact the deficit. Pounce fought it off with 361 for Southern in response, boosting their lead again before the final players' turns. Dani had only 189, capping a down game from the Meteors at 935 in the loss. Dominic tacked on 352 to give the Monarchs a win at 1704. Southern is up to 5-4, while bumping Viewpoint Sound back to 4-3.

Kraft Crowns Park, Royal: The Crowns will let Kayla get her first rest in this game, while the Monarchs sit Hoppy after a rough outing in the previous game. Avril couldn't get Southern established in the game, an awkward high hit downing her turn at 177. Jake kept a steady hand in this appearance, leading Royal's offense with 822 right from the start of the game. Panda couldn't settle a ball on his backhand, ending at a weak 148 for the Monarchs. Jeremias risked deflections with many of his swings, but he dodged his way to 446 to extend the Crowns' lead. Pounce made a push with 532 for Southern, trying to cut into the deficit. Nightfur got distracted and fell with 175 for Royal, potentially weakening their lead late in the game. Dominic failed to challenge the hosts, his pitiful 41 leaving the Monarchs at 898 in the loss. Cassie accepted 192 for the Crowns at the end to allow the game to end with the hosts winning on a total of 1635. Royal is up to 4-6, while Southern falls back to 5-5.

Diddley displayed great pace for Maplewood in his first try at lead-off, slicing 529 to give them the initial lead. Stinky covered the deficit with 423 for the Cascades, reapplying the pressure to the hosts. Bryant countered with solid 504 for the Lumberjacks, strengthening their lead halfway through the game. Nikolai fell apart with only 76 for Freedom this time, unable to cover the deficit this time. Gabe responded with 688 in a big attack for Maplewood to boost their lead late in the game. Stripes had 587, trying to rally for the Cascades, but they suffered the loss at 1328. Summer had a weak 60 for the Lumberjacks, topping their win off at 1781. Maplewood rises to 7-5, but they are still two games back of the 9-3 Freedom side.

Victoria pulled off the upset to get to 6-8, while Southridge finally leaves the undefeated mark at 8-1.

Mercedes-Benz Field, Harrison: The Specters have Sydney resting again against the Cascades, who are without Nikolai due to rest as they finish a five-game road trip. Jasmine had a cluttered pitch from the start, and struggled to even put up a paltry 71 to start for Freedom. Twinkie II belted 1030 for Harrison at the start, the big performance setting them confidently ahead. Stinky had a solid 404 in response for the Cascades, an attempt to cut into the deficit a bit. Lexi got most of it back for the Specters, batting 351 to protect their lead fairly well. Roxy answered with 560 this time for Freedom, cutting a little deeper into the deficit. Rudolph added 359 for Harrison, patching the holes in their shrinking lead late in the game. Stripes couldn't keep control for the Cascades, her 113 leaving them at a loss with 1148. Mitchell had a measly 40 for the Specters at the end, but they still won with 1780. Harrison jumps to 5-6 while pushing Freedom down to 9-4.

Microsoft Pitch, Del Sur: The Monarchs give Dominic some rest, while Bryant takes another game off due to yesterday's pool appearance. Whiskers start things off with a lot of pace, but she scattered a bit late and scored 527 for Maplewood on the first turn of the game. Avril answered with 451 for Southern on her turn, keeping them within striking distance. Diddley tried a double-hit on an early offering, which failed, dropping him at 105 as the Lumberjacks become vulnerable. Hoppy cashed in after a chaotic start, grabbing 433 to give the Monarchs the mid-game lead. Gabe got beat on a hopping ball, falling with 272 as Maplewood just covers the deficit this time. Panda fought off the danger with a big 710 for Southern, giving them a more stable lead heading into the final players' turns. Summer had 400 for the Lumberjacks, but the rally fell short as the visitors lost with 1404. Pounce did well without pressure, tacking on 717 to give the Monarchs a total of 2311 in the win. Southern rises to 6-5, just ahead of the 7-6 Maplewood side on win percentage.

Toyota Pitch, Freedom: The Cascades are without Roxy this time, but the Wolves are resting Juno as well for this Eastern Hills Derby match. Frosty connected on 664 for Stonebridge at the start, the lead-off role treating her quite well this time. Jasmine took some of it back with 412 for Freedom, but her team is still in some trouble for scoring. Hershey crumbled at 168 for the Wolves, opening the door to their lead being overtaken with a good counterattack. Stinky had just that with 576 for the Cascades, pulling them ahead at the midway mark with the fine attack. Vladimir answered with 604 for Stonebridge, reclaiming the lead with his brisk attack. Nikolai had only 322 in response for Freedom, allowing them to again fall behind. Cobalt pounded out another 1003 for the Wolves at the end, putting their final score at 2439. Viewpoint Sound rises to 5-3, while Maplewood falls to 7-7.

The Intel Pitch, Diamond: The Gems will be without Citrus while the Monarchs choose to sit Dominic again as the Week 6 finale is here. Avril slipped at 201 for Southern, putting them a bit low at the start of a critical road game in their schedule. Rosalina was even worse, taking a measly 49 for Diamond on an ugly and ill-planned opening turn for the hosts. Hoppy accepted 458 after a technical error, giving the Monarchs a more stable lead on the second attack. Pedey couldn't catch up for the Gems, falling with 225 as the deficit widens midway through the game. Panda had a fiery pace for Southern, but a bad swing downed him at 432, still enough to pad their lead nicely. Smokey got beat on a deflection at 180 for Diamond, allowing them to fall farther behind late in the game. Pounce slapped 355 for the Monarchs at the end, giving them a total of 1446. Cassandra covered that damage with 361 for the Gems, but they took a hard loss at 815. Southern is up to 7-5 on the year, while Diamond falls again to 3-10.
