Everton Eagles at Midseason

The Everton Eagles saw the departure of Cleo in the Puyallup Exodus at the end of the last season, one which saw them take the regular season title with a stunningly strong record. This came after two years of low offense and poor records. This year started as last year ended, with strong offense and just Kirstin in Cleo's spot in the order. However, a recent slump has pushed the Eagles down to 20-15 on the year, but with an impressive 5-2 record in the Northeast Division. At home, the Eagles are 11-8, while they hold a 9-7 road record, both good, but nowhere near their former elite status. Their plunge has been well documented, but the offense remains healthy at 1713 points per game. Puff III is the team leader this year, hitting 550 in all situations. Goldy is also a stable force on the roster, with a 440 average. The depth is lacking for the Eagles, with Kirstin at 380 and Blizzard at 340 in a major reversal of her play from last year. Puff III also brings a bit of explosiveness to the team, and rare is the game where she and Goldy are both stymied. Still, the Eagles would prefer to see more balance and a few more wins, and they might get to a point where those things are necessary.
