Stonebridge Wolves at Midseason

The third and final expansion team of the year to reach midseason is the Stonebridge Wolves. Led by Juno and Frosty, and with rookies Cobalt and Prism, the early going was tough for the Wolves. Over time, they grew comfortable with their position in the league, and have amassed a record of 15-20 for the year so far, but with a 2-1 record in the Eastern Hills Division. At home, the Wolves have gone 7-8, while they are 8-12 on the much less friendly road. As a team, the Wolves produce about 1550 points per game, a bit on the light side compared to more successful teams. Frosty, the former Royal Crowns captain, leads the way at 423 points per game, followed by the rookie Cobalt. Juno is just under 400 points per game, but it is the play of Prism that has held the Wolves back thus far, with a 330 average. Juno and Cobalt both provide a lift at home, while Frosty is the road specialist on the team, and Prism is fairly venue neutral in her lower scoring. Frosty is also incredibly unpredictable with a high explosiveness rating, thanks in part to her going over 2000 once. It looks like the Wolves will be outside the playoffs this year, but they could do far worse than they have.
