Todavía Stills at Midseason
The Todavía Stills changed logos and also let go of longtime member Leonardo in the offseason. Sparkles was also cut, but brought back at the end of the free agent draft, alongside the former Oceanside Wave Bells. A busy schedule at the start of the season set the Stills back, but they've battled to hover around .500 at 17-18 on the year, and they have gone 3-1 against their foes in the Coastal Division. At home, the Stills are 7-10, while they are 10-8 on the road, both marks a bit too middle-of-the-pack for their liking. The Stills are producing points 1673 per game, a good mark that suggests they have gotten a bit unlucky so far this year. The remainder of the schedule also indicates that, with many more beatable opponents on the way. The captain Easter leads the offense for the Stills, followed closely by the newcomer Bells and the star Sierra. Sparkles, while not stunning overall, has provided a deadly combo at the back of the lineup at home with Bells, helping the Stills steal a few games. However, the higher talent up front, Easter and Sierra, dominate on the road. The Stills are by no means out of playoff contention, and recent rest has refreshed the team for the second half of the season.
