Queens Flames at Midseason

The Queens Flames saw the departure of long-time member Kayla in the offseason due to performance concerns, and while she popped up with the rival Royal Crowns, the Flames are more than happy with Violetta, her rookie replacement. The Flames are nothing like last year's disaster team, instead cruising at 21-14, including a 2-1 Southeast Division record. At home, the Flames are a bit lackluster, with a 9-10 record, but they offset that with a dominant 12-4 road record, making them one of the most fearsome visitors to any stadium. Interestingly enough, they see little variation by venue in their average offense of 1658 points per game, which has served them well enough so far. Veterans Paige and Crystal lead the team with over 450 points per game each, both being stronger on the road. Violetta has been about average, but also rod favorable, and Max is another step down, a concern for the veteran. The Flames don't show a particularly explosive side, although Paige is most likely to break out every now and then. The lack of depth scoring is a concern, but the Flames appear set through their early-season work to make the playoffs after missing last year.
