Pronger Tridents at Midseason

The Pronger Tridents have seen their rebuild go exceptionally well. Last season marked the end of the tenures of Strawberry, Paps, and Hoot, who have had varying degrees of success in other cities. Zach came in exchange for Hoot from the Meteors, and rookies Spot and Potter rounded out the team behind captain Precious. At midseason, the Tridents at 19-16 on the year, while a 4-0 record against the Eastern Hills Division. At home, the Tridents are 12-9, while they play to an even 7-7 record in a light road schedule so far. The Tridents offense sits at 1658 per game, a healthy mark especially given the relative youth of the team. It's no wonder that Precious leads the team with over 500 points per game, but Spot has also done well to score over 450 a game as a rookie. Precious leads the team in road scoring, while Spot has been the home savior. Unfortunately, the Tridents have seen iffy performances from Zach and Potter, each hovering around 350 per game. The lack of balance on the team, and Spot being the only source of explosiveness, suggest the Tridents may be a bit lucky. While they are still likely to make the playoffs, it probably won't be a deep run for the team exceeding all expectations.
