Tysini Hummingbirds at Midseason
The Tysini Hummingbirds made a minor change in the offseason, letting Bright go to the North Modernistic Nighthawks and picking up Brownie from the Harrison Specters in his stead. Returning a superstar in Princess, the rookie of the year Charli, and dependable star Leandra, things should have gone better, but the Hummingbirds find themselves at just 15-20. They are positive against the Southwest Division at 4-3, but 9-11 at home and 6-9 on the road, struggling to find traction throughout the year. The Hummingbirds produce about 1670 points per game, so the issue has been more of bad luck than poor play. Charli and Leandra lead the offense, each scoring around 450 per game. They also do most of their damage at home. Princess is not bad either, but not at the MVP level that we've come to expect from her, hitting only 400 per game. Brownie rounds out the team at 360 per game, which might be enough to stick beyond this year. Charli is the most explosive player, but no one stands out in that regard. The Hummingbirds are trending up, but it's questionable if they will have enough time to make the playoffs, or how far they could go if they do. It's just not their year.
