Lighton Prestige at Midseason

The Lighton Prestige saw the departure of Katelynn at the end of the last season for a one-year hiatus, and brought in the rookie Salmo to replace her. Unfortunately for the Prestige, the change hasn't clicked all that well, as they come into midseason with a 16-19 record. Lighton has also gone 2-4 in the Southwest Division, 9-7 at home, and 7-12 on the road. This is a team that has struggled in many ventures away from home, and they don't have that typical Prestige swagger associated with previous years. They average just under 1604 points per game, a bit of a low mark reflective of their poor record. As usual, Acorn and Spirit lead the charge, averaging 470 and 460, respectively. Acorn is better at home, while Spirit typically leads the charge on the road. Matching 330 averages from Twinkie I and the rookie Salmo hold the Prestige back, with both being a bit better on the road. The balanced road offense is absent at home, where Acorn must do all the heavy lifting. Spirit provides an explosive side for the team, but at this point, the offense is too weak to be genuinely considered for playoff contention. Some might say they've been lucky to fare this well, likely a product of reputation more than skill this year.
