The Swordpoint Blades, historically a pool dominant, cricket poor team, couldn't expect to be in 1st place at midseason, but with a 25-10 record, here they are. After jettisoning Shawn to the Midland Predators and adding rookie Bandit, the Blades are the best in the league, going 3-1 in the Southwest Division, 15-4 at home, and 10-6 on the road, and looking dominant while doing so. Veterans Snowball and Dreamy, career Blades, have had their best years for the team, and form a dominant combo atop the lineup. Bandit has been great as a rookie, and Stealth is a solid back-end veteran. The Blades hit 1867 per game, a stunning mark. Leading the way is Dreamy, a road-favoring player with MVP contention on her season. Snowball also breaks 500 per game, and Bandit is well over 400 per game. Stealth, while not flashy, typically doesn't have to do much at the end to ensure the Blades get their wins. The players tend to be a bit better on the road, but the team is strongest at home defensively. Regardless of venue, seeing Swordpoint as next on the schedule is a position most teams in the league fear, as this team has a chance to do a lot of damage.
